The generic kind of Castle, or Kingdoms-style? If it's the second one, that's great! Two Castle lines running at once hasn't happened since the nineties, and I'd love to see a return to that. Troll's Battle Wheel. The Mine Defender. You're basing these thoughts off of a logo and the word "Robo". That's called "Jumping the gun". ^ Does this look Medieval? Nope.

This won't be a one-year theme, even if the first year sells poorly. The story will be set to last over several years, so even if it's a flop (which I doubt sincerely), it would cost less just to release the planned sets rather than scrap them for a new line. Nexo Knights won't be gone until 2019, and I think it will go for longer than that.

It kinda is. Back in 2005, a poll about KK2 was conducted here on EB. The poll asked users whether or not they though KK2 was a Castle sub theme or a separate theme. The majority voted for the second option. However, these days almost everyone considers KK2 a Castle sub theme, because over time they realized that that's what Lego intended it to be. Lego clearly wants this to be the next Castle theme, as they've never had a period of five years "without" as Castle theme, which would be the minimum if you were to discredit this one. I agree with 8BrickMario to an extent. This theme is in fact a Castle theme, but not a historical theme. It will probably be kept here because Fantasy Era and KK2 were also here, and those were not historical at all. NK is a combo of those two. Also, the Hobbit was a licensed theme, so it is automatically disqualified from being a Castle sub theme. Elves is an extension of Friends and has no knights in it, but plenty of action. That's why it's in Action Themes.

You'd think that they would take a picture of the ship alongside the minifigs if they were going to make a complaint about how it isn't scaled properly.... 5:40: "It's called a snow speeder, but it's not what you'd think of....... it's more of a land speeder for the snow." Making it..... a snow speeder?

Agreed. I will gladly resume discussing this point after the pictures come out, but this time with less novels and more facts from both of us.

^ Yikes. Can we just agree to disagree here? You're reading way to far into this. It's a store manager. They don't know a ton but they do know some things. *Delete* Never mind. I just saw you responded to that one. My bad. Really though, what is the point you are attempting to make, other than to paint me in a bad light?

LEGO Ideas Discussion
BrickJagger replied to The Real Indiana Jones's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Yeah, that one's not getting anywhere. It's a beautiful Moc, but the "set" itself is just a collection of bottomless buildings. It's also still way to big to be considered. -
It's expected to be pretty huge, so TLG was probably just giving them a heads-up on what was going on in Denmark so they didn't feel shut out. A good example of store managers having info comes from the Kingdoms 2011 topic on this very site. If my memory serves me right (It's been awhile since I read that one) the user that leaked the pictures took shots of the retailer catalog in the Lego store, which the manager was showing to him. Also, J2G told me that store managers do get that kind of stuff. So there's that. EDIT: Here's a link to that post in the 2011 thread, in order to prevent feverish searching. Note the reactions from the mods. Different now, eh?

That moment you claim to hate Nekchir but proceed to pull stuff straight off of 4chan..... That one was obviously a joke, but I'm fairly sure everyone of EB is sick of these "jokes".

Warning: Small Novel Ahead. Whelp, I'm going to have to respond to this....... That store manager was basically correct, and he had no way to know what this line really was. He said he got a memo from Lego. Probably true. It probably went something along the lines of this: "We are currently in the final stages of developing a new techno-fantasy theme, which features the Heroic Knights, lead by Aaron and Clay, as they battle the evil Jestro and his army of Lava Monsters. This theme is expected to have wide appeal and sell in the same bracket as Legends of Chima and Ninjago, becoming one of our largest themes." ^ Keep in mind, this is not a real quote, just something I wrote up to simulate the memo based on what he told me. Being a lowly store manager, he probably picked the words Fantasy, Knights, and Lava Monsters out of that and assumed it was a continuation of Fantasy Era. I wouldn't blame him. The fact is, I'm pretty happy that I was able to get that info almost a full year in advance (Might be some sort of record, but who knows?) and report it to you guys. He really wasn't too far off with what he said. I forgot to mention in the OP that he said although the dates given were late 2015-mid 2016, January was the most likely. <-- Hard to believe that I still remember that, but trust me, he did. So he even got the release date right, which would be a heck of a "guess" considering every single Castle wave for a decade prior had a summer release date. Finally, for some odd reason, I've haven't seen him since. I've been to that store six or seven times since then, twice in the morning, when his shift was, and didn't see him. TLG has eyes on the back of their head.... I had ample reason to post that, and I don't regret doing so. Never had any doubt. Hopefully that's good enough for ya'.

Don't forget the mobile fortress and the retailer exclusive set. Those were already reported before Trollchir picked up on it.

^ All that is in the first post. @Itaria No Shintaku you are correct, and it was amazingbricks who said that.

I actually like this set. It's kind of cool is it's own way. I do hope that the winter ones are better, though.

Let us return to the fascinating discussion of the positioning of bevels! I find it funny how this topic has over 150 more posts than the entire 2013 Castle topic. Let's talk about that.

^ We do have the names "Lavaria" and "Moltor", which does allude to lava based baddies. Also, Jestro is basically confirmed to be an evil Jester with the name of the set he's in.
