    I agree mate. It's getting a bit out of hand. I think I must be one of the few that are still hoping for an ISD or Tantive IV instead of a MF. The MF just doesn't do it for me at all. I feel the other 2 I mentioned capture the essence of 80's styling perfectly, the MF not so much. Each to their own though, it's what keeps the world interesting :)

    The model looks great. Personally I would've liked it better if it were light bley, as such I don't think I'll be picking it up.

    Haha!! Great thread. I wasn't going to purchase 75153 as it's AUD$79 here. Just as well I got one for Christmas then which was a nice surprise. It's a truly superb rendition of the AT-ST, even better than the UCS imo (mind you, that one did come out in 2006). I spent this afternoon modding mine, thanks for the ideas!

    It's beautiful. I'm trying to resist the urge to start a new Bricklink list for this. By "resist the urge" what I actually mean is patiently waiting to see if TLG give us a ISD for the 40th Anni. At least if they don't I have the option of building this stunner. Cheers mate :)

    Thanks mate, thanks for the reply. Yeah the trooper from 75078 isn't ideal but hey, beggars can't be choosers right. Unfortunately I live in Australia and it's a difficult set to find here, I'll keep my eye out though.

    Stunning. One of the best Lego ships I've seen. I know you said you started out in LDD and then moved onto designing with bricks instead, but I would happily hand over $ for a completed LDD file! Well done mate.

    Out of interest what's the best way to build up a little army of Storm Troopers? I'm thinking Imperial Troop Transport 75078, but if anyone has a better suggestion I'm all ears :)

    At the rate we're going it'll be cheaper to buy a 10030 ISD or 10179 MF off eBay than buying a new version from Lego!

    I didn't pick up the old Death Star 10188 so I welcomed the idea of 75159. As it turns out though I won't be buying it and quite frankly Lego Australia can EAD. They've listed in on the Australian Lego store as available from the 1st of October for AUD$800! (US$655).

    Thanks mate :) A new Star Destroyer would be an amazing thing. It's literally all I want. The old one was so flimsy, a new rendition would benefit greatly from new building techniques. Doing the maths it says we're due for one too. Fingers crossed!

    I'm interested to hear what the glaring screw-ups are? Every review I've read has said it's an excellent model.

    Yes, the trailer is awesome!! The Star Destroyer made an appearance a good number of times. Come on Lego give us another UCS version, you know you want to - and it's bloody well time!
