  1. ^ Congrats mate! :)
  2. Very very cool! It reminds me so much of a tugboat. Spot on mate :)
  3. Looks great mate! I love how you've animated the soldiers hat flying off in surprise :)
  4. Fantastic work mate :)
  5. Hi mate, I recently read a MOC of similar size to the 10030 (sorry, I don't remember the thread or forum, google might be your friend) and he said that he was using 6 of the 75055 - plus additional pieces. I'm also lusting after a 10030 and although I could scrape together the $2000 that it fetches these days, I won't. I can't help but think that we'll get a re-release sometime soon, here's my rationale behind it: In 2013 we got a new UCS X-wing (10240), the original (7191) was released in 2000, which makes them 13 years apart. The UCS Star Destroyer was released in 2002, which in 2015, also makes it 13 years since it's release. The original set has a few problems with it, fragility being number 1 and a re-release would definitely benefit from new parts and building techniques. There is a new star destroyer in Episode VII called the "First Order Star Destroyer," however I feel it wouldn't be wise for Lego to release a UCS version of that ship (at this moment in time anyway) as Episode VII won't have the nostalgic value for AFOL's, who are ultimately the target market for UCS models. So I'm crossing my fingers and toes and holding out for a new version - I also recently bought a 75055 to tide me over until that day :)
  6. Fantastic! Thanks for the inspiration mate. It's like a mini UCS now :)
  7. Too epic!! I can't wait to see the diorama in its entirety :)
  8. Wow, this has got to be the coolest MOC I've ever seen. The colours are beautiful! Extremely well done mate :)

  12. Welcome aboard mate! :)
  13. Thanks for the help mate :) I've just imported an LXF into LDD Manager. Do you know what I should enter under "Enter Bricklink Wanted Number" (Wanted List ID)? I've just out a number "1" in that box when prompted (not knowing what to do), it generates a code but when I paste that code all items say: Lot #1 in your file shown above has the following error(s): Wanted List ID 1 Not Found Edit: Sorry for the thread hijack!
  14. Thanks for the link mate, I'll give it a try. I've used LDD to generate LXF and XLSX files but can't get it to generate a Bricklink file (XML). edit: I tried uploading an LXF file (which I made in LDD) to brickulus.com and it says "You must upload a valid LXF file" Any clues as to why it would say that?
  15. Some Ep 4-6 Microfighters and I bricklinked an 8038 Endor AT-ST for my Ewok Village. I searched bricklink manually for the pieces which took forever! Could someone explain how I generate a list from LDD or Excel into Bricklink format? (XML?) :)
  16. Thanks mate :)
  17. Thanks for the warm welcome everyone :) lol, it's not the most user-friendly website is it. Last night I decided to search for the pieces manually (as I still haven't figured out how to to the lists) It took me about 3 hours to find all the parts for a T-47 Snowspeeder MOC! (About 500 pieces) If I figure it out I'll let you know :)
  18. Hey all, just thought I'd say a quick hello. I've recently got back into Lego with the purchase of the Ewok Village. My first lego set since I was about 7 years old (I'm 32 now). I'm looking forward to getting a few SW sets in the future. For now though I need to get my head around Bricklink and uploading lists etc. I must've spent a collective total of about 3 hours over this past week trying to figure it out but I haven't had much luck yet! I hope some of you will be able to give me some advice. I'm trying to build the AT-ST that is found in the 8038 Battle of Endor to add to my Ewok Village. I've managed to create an LXF file of the AT-ST buy opening the 8038 set in LDD and deleting all pieces except for the AT-ST. I've also managed to create an Excel file. None of these seem to be of any help to me as far as uploading the parts list to Bricklink, as for this I believe I need an XML file? Any help would be greatly appreciated :) Cheers for now. Don.
