  1. I agree wholeheartedly. The haphazard mix of pneumatics and LAs just combine to make one big, hard to control mess. Should've gone either all-out on pneumatics or all-out on LAs.
  2. Looks good. The front is certainly a weak part in Lego's design.
  3. Very cool idea, but I think it all looks a bit squarish (sp?). Maybe you can add some curves using soft axles, if the part count allows it.
  4. Why not orange? Price of orange parts has gone down a lot recently on BL.
  5. Cute, well done!
  6. 42009 has five of them (and also two 2014 sets), so relatively new part. Lots available on BL.
  7. Well if you insist on not using chrome rims ( ), I suggest you use LBG wheels instead of black wheels, maybe adding the wheel covers of 8653 or 8145.
  8. Well, that confirms it: this is an awesome model You don't have a black 16L axle though?
  9. So am I, but I think chromed elements are allowed. It's purely cosmetic, and looks good. Each to his own
  10. Heh, that's exactly what the cab reminded me of, a firetruck! Anyway, nice MOC, keep up the good work.
  11. With your salary as a Technic Moderator, 130 euro should be peanuts!
  12. It's kind of expensive on BL, unfortunately. Can't find any second-handed copies on Marktplaats, either. If you do find some for cheap, buy me a copy as well
  13. I see, I'm not familiar with this kind of cab. Do you perhaps have a picture of the truck you based this MOC off of?
  14. Aren't we all? Time to open a 2015 topic I'd say! Let's have another prediction round I can already imagine allanp and davidmull going 'LAs suck pneumatics rock bring them back!!'
  15. Nice truck, only the cab seems a bit strangely elongated with the front wheels placed far back, is this on purpose?
  16. Looks like an official model, apart from the bright lime green rubber band
  17. I have a solution for this voting conondrum: the contest entree who transfers me the largest sum of money (in Euros preferably) wins the contest. Makes sense, no? But yeah, that's a cool picture allanp. Keep it updated!
  18. Up on Rebrickable now: http://rebrickable.com/sets/42030-1/volvo-l350f-front-loader-technic-2014 Looks like I only need the new parts to build it. Wonder if TLG will sell the bucket separately.
  19. Thanks for the update! I greatly appreciate the time and effort you put into making instructions for this beauty
