  1. Actually, an early revision of this set was released with the non-slotted version. See the alternate parts section. I'd say BrickLink is correct here.
  2. Confidential marked TLG images are not to be posted here directly.
  3. Tell her that part of becoming a Master Builder is making excellent TLG-quality instructions of popular MOCs for free.
  4. Buy me those dark blue panels and I'll buy a copy of your instructions
  5. So yeah, how about them instructions? Seriously though, it looks amazing. One of the best-looking Technic trucks I've ever seen, and I've seen quite a few.
  6. 42038 link threads are DBG. I'm going to buy it for the orange parts, and to reward TLG for taking some risk with an 'odd' model.
  7. Looks great, both your version and Lucio's. Good job both!
  8. Yeah, I was referring to kandykop's post. Glad to hear it seems to have been an assembly error. P.S.: Blakbird, your daughters are adorable. Have you got them working on instructions yet?
  9. I actually expected him to have them ready before the leak. Disappointing. I guess he doesn't exist outside time and space, like Blakbird does.
  10. Thanks for the high-resolution pictures! A lot more detail to be discerned there than in those blurry low-res ones. 42039 indeed looks totally awesome, I'm really curious what functionality it will offer. Love all the green and orange parts we're getting, by the way, should make for some MOCs (cars) with interesting colour schemes.
  11. Yeah, that's kind of a bummer to hear. What's your opinion on the crane's moving and steering, Blakbird?
  12. Did you get the chromed Technic parts from Aureliusz Falowski? That's where I got them for my chromed Corvette.
  13. Looks a lot better than the default 42000, mainly thanks to the more consistent colouring and stickers. Good job! Make sure to check out 8674 as well:
  14. There's not necessarily a benefit, it's just a logical consequence of TLG limiting the amount of copies produced.
  15. Sounds like it's due a MOD or two then ;-)
  16. Yeah it's pissing quite a few people off. TLG is playing nicely into the hands of resellers this way.
  17. You? Younger? I thought you existed outside of time? Anyway, great job! It's really appreciated, I love reading about all those classic sets I don't own (and probably never will).
  18. Yep, I think TLG has a policy of exhausting current stocks first before producing a new batch in a new colour. Makes economic sense, I guess. Oh, and by the way, at least the current shortage means we get to see supercars etc. in other colours than boring red
  19. The pics I've seen were small, blurry and had watermarks. I think they're from some kind of preliminary official catalogue? I don't know which pics Cwetqo has seen. I expect better pics to be 'leaked' soon, just be patient ..
  20. From the crappy pics I've seen, it doesn't look like any new #3's are coming soon. Better stock up while you can
  21. Top right corner => My RB => My MOCs => Add New Private MOC It's a bit hidden, I agree.
  22. It has never been on Rebrickable AFAIK. If you want to check whether you can build it, simply create a private MOC and add the parts to it (Han has posted a parts list), then hit 'Build this MOC with your sets and parts' at the top.
  23. Supported, though it has no chance at all. Too complex, too big. Too beautiful?
