  1. I stole it from Nathan cause it's cute and I'm part of Rebrickable's team now Anyway, I've changed it, better?
  2. I need them all for building Sheepo's Mustang, sorry
  3. The set will be posted as a public MOC on Rebrickable when the final instructions are done (we require MOCs to have instructions). Until then, you can add it as a private MOC (My RB => My MOCs => Add New Private MOC) using the parts list posted by Blakbird earlier in the thread. Then, simply click on 'Build this MOC with your sets and parts' to see if you have all the parts required! Note that this parts list is not the parts list of the definitive version, so there may be changes.
  4. Eh, I got 50 odd of them, so I don't care Anyway, great job! Thanks a lot for putting so much time into this so other people can enjoy this lovely creation by dikkie
  5. That was quicker than expected, I guess you put in some allnighters? Thanks a lot, it's greatly appreciated! It'll be on Rebrickable soon, though I already know I'll need two more unimog tires.
  6. Thanks a lot for taking the time to do this!
  7. Yeah, but noone forces them to look at them ;-) Hence I just ignore them.
  8. Some people love reverse engineering stuff given limited information, TheItalianBrick. To each their own. As for the topic's title: I won't look at reverse-engineered creations as I prefer to be (hopefully pleasantly) surprised when building the official sets. Furthermore, reverse-engineered versions often have incorrect colours, mistakes and are missing new molds. But again, to each their own.
  9. Nice job! The bodywork looks great. Should've entered it in the Model Team competition
  10. Hah, collecting parts is a big part of the fun.
  11. It means that they're not sure what kind of spring is used in the set.
  12. Lego needs to start considering offering preorders (for very limited quantities). Also, it's still available at EU S@H sites, but it ships 4-11.
  13. I just noticed you made a slight mistake Ted: you mounted the upper LA upside-down Has no effect on the functionality though. The total lack of complexity is quite disappointing IMO, but the build quality, size, and playability make up for it. Plus it looks pretty good if you ignore the front end.
  14. Whatever you do, don't sell your collection to Blakbird. His Technic collection is already so large and massive, adding any more parts will cause it to collapse into a black hole. Think of all those flex axles and red #3 connectors being lost forever.
  15. The pictures have been posted here before
  16. So, are you volunteering yourself?
  17. Damn, and I thought I had it rough building the past few weeks while the nail of my left thumb was peeling off Seriously though, much respect to you - grum64, Paul B, and others - for letting nothing getting it the way of your (Technic) hobby. Your perseverance is inspiring.
  18. Not necessarily, building a large collection tempts to empty one's wallet rather quickly For 20 bucks I'd want quality instructions, not just a digital model
  19. i think you seriously underestimate the people with large collections and/or large wallets who would love to build this I'd love to build this, and am willing to pay for (quality) instructions.
  20. Non-slotted pin joiners were still being used in 2008 sets, so it's not that big a stretch. TLG often depletes existing stock first before switching entirely to a new mold.
