  1. Thanks everyone! Oh yea, I totally agree. We need this color back into palette of active ones. So many possibilities. Just imagine a 1x2 masonry brick in sand red...

  8. Great build! On a side note: I find it quite amusing that the santa looks a bit like Kylo Rens Shuttle flipped. :D
  9. What a charming build! Reminds me of the grand pudapest hotel. :)
  10. Thats a nice build. I like how you combined so many different and hard to use colors without them clashing too much.
  11. Hey everyone, I would like to present my newest modular building: A modular wine and flower shop. This is the first time I built a corner modular and I must admit it was quite a challenge to pull it off within LDD. Also I wanted to make sure that the corner part looks smooth without any big gaps and no hinge plates or bricks visible. The SNOT'ed tiles are a bit tight but it fits! The lowest level features two shops: A wine shop and a flower shop as well as a 45 degree corridor to the inner staircase. The middle level features an apartment where the old couple from the last years seasonal found a comfy place to live. The upper level features another apartment which is currently being redecorated. Statistics Parts: 4341 Build time: around 55h within LDD and 8h with real bricks Bricklink orders: 16 Below you can find a selection of images. All of them can be viewed here: http://www.kawano.de...lower_shop.html Again a building instruction is available for purchase for those who would like to build it themselves!

  16. Absolulety love it! So cool how you managed to put three business on one baseplate whithout it looking too cramped. I especially like the sign of the music store and the ladder on the bookshelf.
  17. Stunning interior!
  18. Nice! I like the style which is quite different from what we usually see!
  19. Awesome. You nailed it!
  20. Nice job! My latest modular (almost done) was also inspired by a building in my hometown. I only used it as a source for ideas though and my final model looks quite different. Gonna post it this weekend hopefully. :)
  21. Sweet little build!
  22. Simplistic but very effective architecture. That corner deli is sweet. Gorgeous sign!
  23. Sweet build! The texture with the black plates works very well. Also like the apartment which is very charming! :)
  24. Very cool build! The colorsand details are really well done!
  25. Please check the link in my signature. From there you can find to purchase the building instruction (directly or from ebay). The export to MLCad is easy, but then it becomes more complicated. ;-) You have to rearrange every brick in MLCad and manually add the steps for the building instruction (this takes quite some time). From there you can create the building instruction in LPub (which also takes some time). Took me a while until I was able to create building instructions of a somewhat decent quality. But it is quite a lot of fun!
