Here is one technique which lets you keep the modulars on their baseplates (it eats alot if bricks though!) http://www.1000steine.de/de/gemeinschaft/forum/?entry=1&id=5144#id5144 Forum is in german but the images speak for themselves.

Thanks for the review. I will get one as well. However I think that 40/40 is too high. The set is definately not perfect because of two things: Stickers and backside. I can live with both but these two flaws make it an imperfect set. -
