  2. This is a very nice MOD! Did you use two sets again?
  3. This is a nice MOC/MOD. I immediately though "this is how it should've been done in the first place". Nice build!

Thats a great addition to an already awesome city. I love the details!
  5. In general bricklink is cheaper if you put some time into finding the right stores with the right amount of stones and compare this including shipping fee etc. So far I've ordered over 50 times via bricklink and had almost no problem. One time an order got cancelled because someone broke into the store owners house stealing almost all LEGO (ouch). One time I received a wrong part (non LEGO door frame) which was immediately replaced by the seller. Except for that I had no problems, very good quality bricks (I always order new bricks unless the only available ones are used). So far I also ordered only from shops in Germany with the exception of one store in Ireland. Getting used to the site, managing your wanted lists etc. however takes some time and the overall interface is not really user friendly.
  6. Now thats some dedication. So much lovely detail. Really enjoyed watching the picture. Amazing build!
  7. Amazing work. This has just everything: Details, Story, Creativity, Humor. And it looks heavy! Did you weigh it yet?
  8. Great build. The pipe organ is perfect. Very nice usage of bricks there. Keep us updated once this is incorporated to your city! :)
  9. Thanks for the offer. I managed to create my wanted list using BrickUtils. I'll use that in the meantime while eagerly awaiting your update. :)
  10. Hi Superkalle, since it is my first post into this thread I would like to send a big thank you to you for providing this awesome tool to the community! My question which I haven't seen anywhere in this thread: I understand that the current version of LDD Manager only supports parts up until brickset 1264. The latest version of LDD has the brickset 1564.2 so I receive a warning when importing an .LXF file. Is there a way to see which parts could not be loaded? Reason I am asking is, that I want to create a BL Wanted List from LDD Manager, however my current model has 1853 pieces in LDD but only 1836 appear in LDD manager. It's very time consuming using the generated parts list from LDD and compare it with the generated Wanted List in BL. Any help appreciated. :)
  11. Lovely addition to the ice cream shop which was also already very charming!
  12. I'm speechless... Wow...just...wow....
  13. Totally agree with Kristel. You nailed it with the facade. The inside is very charming too. :)
  14. Oh wow this is outstanding. I second what goatman461 said: Just looking at the pictures I really think I'm inspired by the nice SNOTing techniques you've been using. Thanks alot for sharing!
  15. Lovely architecture and color selection. Very impressive!
  16. This very nice and fun to look at. Lovely details. I also like how the plaid you put it on to shoot some photos looks like LEGO as well, ;)
  17. Couldn't agree more with above posters. Wonderful shape with great details. Looks very impressive!
  18. Oh wow this is great. Incredible how you managed to create such a great athmosphere with very simple shapes.
  19. This is great. The building itself is awesome but in combination with the garden it's just wonderful. Thanks for sharing!
  20. Thanks for all the nice comments! Already working on my next modular building. Yeah, our little lego town is also overflowing with crooks.... ;-)
  21. Hi all, after clearing my basement and finding all my old lego models from roughly 20 years ago I reignited my interest in those little plastic bricks again. Another reason were some recent visits to our local LEGO store. I was surprised about the new models and pretty much fell in love with modular buildings. After seeing so many awesome MOCs here and everywhere in the internet I decided that I want to build my own modular building. Since I wanted to learn while building this MOC, I started designing it within LDD, cause I've been using CAD programs for over 15 years: I also wanted my own building instruction since the automatically created ones from LDD are pretty much useless for big models. I exported my building to MLCad and reorganized everything to make it editable in LPub. So if someone is interested in a building instruction, please check the link in my signature where you can find the building instructions for purchase. Here some pictures of the final model. I still need to learn how to take proper pictures (way more difficult than I thought!) so if someone has some advices, I'd gladly take them: For the interior I used some models from tutorials around the net, some modified ones and some own. Mainly because I wanted to get used to modern building techniques and create a feeling for scaling. Stats: 2976 pieces
  22. Hahaha this is disturbing, funny and entertaining. Great stuff! I love it.
  23. Oh wow, this is gorgeous. I just love the various amount of minifig scenes! You managed to make me smile all the time throughout watching the pictures.
  24. I like it! Nice usage of colors. I also like the simplistic, yet very smooth looking architecture. Feels very realistic.
  25. This is absolutely beautiful. Excellent work. Would love to see more models based on this setting!
