LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 13 Rumours and Discussion
BrickSev replied to just2good's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Impressive, once again I love collecting Minifigures too. Sadly have been away from the hobby for a very long period so I missed a lot of things. I have a Clone Army which will soon be close to 200 units I know it's not a lot compared to what we see around but it's a start I wanted to begin a fantasy army too but with LOTR and The Hobbit themes soon to be discontinued it's not easy. Btw 2000 fantasy figures are a truly impressive number. I suppose you built several armies. Which is your favorite? EDIT: Typo corrected. -
I was hoping to get good news about a wave beyond the third. Well, I guess I have to keep hoping for it

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 13 Rumours and Discussion
BrickSev replied to just2good's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Thank you for the advices They are very appreciated. I wish I had a larger selection of boxes available here. Like you said the Goblin (and also the Alien) is not very difficult to feel and I'd really like to build a army to add to Orcs from LOTR/The Hobbit and have a nicely sized fantasy army -
Thank you for the detailed info I noticed the nice selection of colors. Sadly it's not a period I have many time for MOCs but I do like tan bricks Beside the fact we likely never see a set from The Hobbit again made me thought about getting this one, eve though, like you said, it's not on clearance and it has a quite high cost per brick. However the Minifugures are truly amazing and the bricks' colors interesting

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 13 Rumours and Discussion

Impressive feeling capabilities Well someones opens them but I don't live in a very large city so there are not so many Lego fans like in the larger ones This also means stores have not many packs around. I bought about 60 packs and I sent the Series 13 in backorder lol in a local store. More are on their way they told me. What do you feel when you look for Goblin? Is it the sack/bag accessory? -
I think we have to wait and see what happens In the meantime we have wonderful sets to enjoy

Are those Goblins yours? Impressive. How many packs did you buy to get them? Or do you bought the "opened" Minifigures from some store? It's most impressive indeed. I'm looking for two series 13 armies: Goblins and Aliens (I wouldn't be displeased by Galaxy Troopers too ) I agree. However even if we are not looking for her (because we already found her etc) it's always unpleasing to open a bag and see the armor has been damaged by someone else who tried to feel it. I have been quite lucky since I was the first to buy the packs from a local store and so the box was largely untouched -
MOC: Updating the Classics (2) - 6049 Viking Voyager
BrickSev replied to Captain Braunsfeld's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Very interesting work. Congratulations You made a great job in updating the set. I noticed the "funny" eyes it's a nice touch. Sadly I lost this set among several other old Castle theme sets, included a castle itself. Btw, keep up the great work- 10 replies

Impressive! Most impressive Outstanding work and a lot of "Japanese Minifugures". You have a very nice collection of them

Very detailed review. I'm about to order several The Hobbit sets since they won't stay around for long and I'm facing a dilemma regarding this set. The Minifigures are impressive: no doubt about that. But here the retail price is 70€ and I wonder if it would a good choice to get it or use that money for something else

I know that feeling This is my year so far: I started with SW then I noticed Fantasy/historic lines will be gone soon and I decided to go with those projects too, then I saw new UA sets and I had to get them etc etc and not even a full month has been passed lol
-
Very promising news. Honestly I don't know if the next movie will be great or will ruin the sage but I can't complain about Lego SW sets

That would be great! I really hope to get more UA sets in the future. Thanks for the link

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 13 Rumours and Discussion

I noticed you can also try to feel her armor. It has what I call "an additional volume" compared to "unarmored" Minifigures. The Samurai armor appears "softer" to touch then other armors so it could be an indication. However be careful: like mentioned in a couple of above posts her armor is more delicate and can be easily deformed if you apply a "pressure stress". That makes the task a bit harder. However Samurai is one of those Minifigures with an "increased volume" (you know what I mean) like Galaxy Trooper and Evil Wizard (due to his "leg piece" ) Btw I understand you: unless you are in store you know it may be a little embarrassing to "feel" bags but in the end you don't do anything weird lol so if it can give an increased chance to get the Minifigures you are looking for, go for it EDIT: I thought the info on Samurai armor was in some post above, but it's possible it was in other topic. However it is indeed more delicate and easily deformed than other armors -
Well if they had more than one eye they wouldn't be cyclopses lol Btw I do think it's not the best choice, even though one can always give a try and see how it looks. It takes few seconds to change headpieces Neimoidian Minifigures are not very easily found. Officially they are all sold out so you have to look around and I'm sure it won't be cheap, unless you buy from someone who doesn't know it's rare ( Now I expect a "no it's not so valuable" but honestly the most recent one was available only in one set and it's already sold out so it makes it rarer than many other Minifigures)

Thanks you very much, both for your info and the link

Of course I liked it. It's realistic, full of details and I always respect the dedication required to make a MOC like this It's a pleasure to show appreciation. You earned it

Sorry if I try to help with the little info I can get. Btw if we all gather our findings we can get some more useful date. Btw never mind, I'll try to do something else instead. Sometimes it's better think about themselves than trying to do something for others lol Anyway thanks for the clarification EDIT: Just for the records, not even several sealed boxes are enough. Since given the amount of Minifigures produced content may vary greatly from box to box. Like I said, just for the records, if we want to be accurate, let's be completely accurate In the end it's just "home made" statistics, it can be useful, it may, likely, not but it's an effort. Made out of curiosity, surely but it's not made to bother others lol But if everyone would share their finding, then the data start to become more accurate. There are many factors that can affect the chances but the more data we gather the better. I'm aware we'll never gather enough data but share few info cannot hurt. Just my two cents on the matter.

Don't worry about that. I was just curious What it matters is you made an outstanding job. Congratulations again

I have question for everyone who has the set How are the ship's interior details? Most of the photos I saw focus on the exterior but I'm very curious about the interior (the cockpit, for example) also are there details in "cargo bay" or is it just an opening door? Thank you very much

I finally completed my collection! I found the King! Actually I found 4 of them lol. I got 20 more packs (which I think will be the last ones ) and they were the luckiest packs I ever opened: even three more Goblins for one of my army projects! I'll post some pic and edit the first post because I think with 64 packs I can provide some useful statistic data on the Minifigures chances. Right now it seems Hot Dog man is quite rare: I found only 3 (if I'm not mistaken) of them in 64 packs

I wish it could happen. I like those set ideas
-
It's the Sith from set 75025 (the Jedi Defender-class Cruiser)
-
I bought 5 of them for the Stormtroopers and the fact the transport is a nice vehicle is a good addition Good luck with your MOC project
-
You can ask staff why it is not discounted, maybe they can apply some discount From your words I suppose it's a nice set. I bought it mostly for the Goblins. Now that we have a Goblin Minifigure in Series 13 I can add the ones I found to the "core" from the set. I know it's different (color etc) but it's better than nothing I also thought the scenery won't hurt: it can be useful for many "underground adventures"
