Of course not. Like I said just "guesswork" and I too think LOTR won't be on top which is sad because it has great potential and not only for fans of the saga but also for everyone interested in Fantasy and historic themes. Let's hope something will change, unlikely but we can still hope

I strongly agree and I'm glad Lego continues to produce more waves instead of doing what they did with Galaxy Squad. I can't wait. More nice sets to keep us busy during summer
-
Very funny, in a good way of course lol Of course it's a womp rate That's one of the many things I love of Lego. They know how to make us smile. Just a little thing like that can add a lot of fun to the already fun building process. Not to mention the remarkable attention to details. There may be other companies trying, and failing, to "imitate" but Lego will be always the best EDIT: Typo corrected.

Thank you very much for your comment and sorry about transition. I tried to make each panel duration long enough for a comfortable reading. Since I read quite fast I asked some friend to act as tester, well it seems they didn't make a very good job lol Btw, shot first is one of my favorite: I still remember all the quarrel when the first special edition was released. I remember fans all over the worlds spending many words on the matter so I thought to make a little "Lego parody" about that Thank you very much and sorry again for the transition. Like I said I think my testers didn't make a good job lol. If there is a way to slow down image with "YouTube tools" (or whatever they are called the limited post upload editing available on YouTube, I'm very new to YouTube world as active user ) I'll do. Thank you again to everyone for your comments. I'm very new to the world of "video making" so every comment is really appreciated and it motivates me to improve. I sincerely appreciate your words, my friends

I didn't buy the HQ for the same reason, then I found it with a 30% discount before Christmas and I bought it: it surprised me as well. Now I think even at full price it's a worth set. Personally I think UA theme is a bit underestimated by many Lego fans. It's a nice theme with a lot of potential: from action to Sci-Fi settings. You can even use them as "Federal Agents" like characters in modern day settings. There is little you can't do with them. I admit even I underestimated this theme in the past but now I'm a huge fan of it Back on the HQ vs UltraCopter: I too think the HQ is better, it also gives us a "scenery" (namely the "base")
-
Indeed, that was the very scene I was talking about The Shadow Troopers set also gives us a little nice speeder. It's a set perfect for our armies' "special operation forces" needs EDIT: @ Jedi-Bendu: Is the mouse included with the Skyhopper set? I'm very curious
-
Thank you very much I'm glad you like it. I made several funny Lego Star Wars scenes so I thought to put them together and add the "monkey soundtrack". I made the video with iMovie and for some reason sometimes I get the "black area" on the side of images. Do you have a favorite "panel/scene" among those from the video? Thank you again for your comment

Then get them when you have the chance. I remember the Clone Wars Episode when there were the "Jedi Guards" at the trial, they can be also used in such role, among many other roles, for example
-
Honestly the reason I bought it was I really wanted some UA set and a futuristic helicopter/gunship for a project of mine. Since it looked nice and it has Anti Matter Minifigure I decided to get it
-
Well it depends. Would the Shadow Guards find a place/role in your army? If not, the Imperial Transport Battle Pack will give you 4 units while the Shadow Troopers just 2 but if you really like the Shadow Troopers you should buy what you like most
-
Very impressive MOC. Do you remember how many pieces you used? Just curious Congratulation for your outstanding work. Well done, indeed

For photography and Brickfilming the open rear side is more useful than "lift off" feature, for example. I have difficulties in finding good angles when I take photos of my Parisian Restaurant for example

Like I said I haven't built the sets yet but looking at the box it looks amazing. It has a lot of functions "rotating blades", firing weapons (for those interested in that function ), functioning "zip line" an amazing futurist design (when you look at the transparent surfaces you wonder if they represent "solid material" or meant to represent "holographic/force fields" etc) and it does look like a vehicle of that kind should look: no design oddity, from what I saw. It has some cons: for example its cost per brick it's higher than usual (here in EU it's 74,99€ per 614 pieces) I reserve the the final opinion until I build it by from a preliminary analysis I can answer to your questions saying: 1) In my opinion it's worth for the reasons I mentioned above 2) It looks amazing like it just came out from a high end Science Fiction/action series 3) If you are only interested in a single Minifigure from the set and have no interest in the UltraCopter itself, then I wouldn't suggest to spend all that money for a Minifigure if you have the chance to get it in a set you're more interested in. Btw, I'd really recommend that set. It's just a preliminary opinion. Once I built it, I'll take detailed photos and write a more detailed analysis EDIT: I forgot to mention to new, cool armors and in the set you get an cool helmet too
-
Well, perhaps one day they will release it in dark blue. They introduced several new pieces and pieces in previously unavailable colors during the years, so there is hope
-
Just "guesswork", I suppose based on how many persons say to have bought them, their reactions, the number of times it went backorder (even though it can go backorder because they had very few sets in stock etc) data from sellers etc. Like I said, just "guesswork"
-
From what I saw I like them too. I just reported the "general consensus" since I can share my own opinion only after I actually built them I have also the Stormtroopers Battle pack, I'm very excited to add them to my Army
-
I got my three Shadow Troopers packs yesterday I haven't built them yet (I was so curious about the Hailfire Droid: I'm not a Separatists fan but I was truly curious) but from what I saw they are nice. The Troopers better than the Guards (who have no printed head but just a translucent read headpiece) I plan to build them tonight or tomorrow
-
I just received it today, alongside with UltraCopter and Spyclops. I haven't opened it yet but I can give a look at it soon I have so many sets still to build but I know UA sets are not yet available to American friends, so if anyone is interested I can give those sets "building priority" and share photos and comments about them with the community EDIT: Oops, I read stealth bike (the one from set 70167), sorry. Stealth Patrol is on my "to buy list". Btw as far as I know every Agent has a double sided head.

Thank you Like I said I was not sure about it It appears in dark green it's a Slave I exclusive though, so the source I remembered of was half right. I have been away from the hobby for a quite long period, so I miss several info. Thanks again for the link
-
Well I defined it "successful" according to the opinions of persons who bought it: in the end the only way to know if a set is successful is to see if those who bought it are satisfied with their purchase Anyway it appear Lego don't feature openings very often in collector sets. Even the modular buildings (at least those I can think about right now) come without such feature. A "modular approach" on Orthanc would have been very appreciated, indeed. Much easier to move from room to room, among the other benefits

Hello fellow AFOL, I decided to collect my recent Star Wars parody Brick Comics into a single video, so you can watch them in less than 2 minutes Let me know what you think. Few scenes contain reference for true fans (like the one with a Wookie and a giant lizard, well a part of space lizard) Your feedback is highly appreciated. May the Brick be with You

I really hope so. Most of the times I order directly from Lego so it won't be a problem for me Beside the exclusive sets are often wonderful additions to our collections
-
Part of wave or not, it is indeed a successful set, in my opinion. Even several smaller sets are "exclusives" but they are part of the theme/production line.
-
I'm sure I will. From the images I saw Smaug is amazing and the set also give us a nice scenery. Even the rest of set gave me a good feeling, so I'm eager to build it
