  1. More than that: he's suggested to be Benny's boyfriend with LEGO's share of this on Twitter and Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/p/Bt3cjscgWDo/ The book LEGO Minifigure: A Visual History suggests that his suit was white before some red astronaut threw their laundry in with his: https://books.google.com/books?id=hAr0DwAAQBAJ&pg=PA235&lpg=PA235&dq=lenny+lego+movie+2+wash&source=bl&ots=96VyxkE_hd&sig=ACfU3U3W5nPt15NAy0gA2oWtj8F6iK3KuA&hl=en&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwj2-9ml7cH5AhUwF1kFHYG9BLgQ6AF6BAghEAM#v=onepage&q=lenny lego movie 2 wash&f=false
  2. Pretty sure it got deleted for the same reason that my similar one didn't get approved: it's not a MOC. I was told I could create a custom parts list for this. Here it is: https://rebrickable.com/users/davebarrett/lists/179439/
  3. Bricks and Pieces order is in. @Didumos69 Why did you go with black 3L pins instead of blue? This seems to be a frequent occurrence with MOCs, and I'm a bit worried that with the more common blue pins it'll look quite different.
  4. That is sweet! It makes me want to put in another medium blue panel order.
  5. I'm hoping to gear up four hard-coupled XL motors to see what speed I can get out of it—once I get a chance to get back to building. New baby imminent, so that won't be for a while!
  6. 41999 is top of my list. I've got everything else I've wanted over the past 3 or so years, focusing on the larger technic sets. To be honest, it's more the parts I want—I definitely feel irritated when a crucial part in a MOC is one that only appeared in the smaller sets.
  7. Is the body work tougher than the Assassin model? I built the Assassin a while ago and, though the chassis seemed solid, the bodywork felt either wobbly or would detach easily (it's a long time ago, can't remember which). Didn't have this problem with the Predator or the Porsche set.
  8. The #3 connectors are available from Bricks and Pieces (didn't show up on site, but when I called up they let me order them).
  9. My mistake. I forgot about the crazy amount of wiring in this thing, and assumed that these were connected directly to the SBrick. Thanks for pointing this out. Shame it didn't pan out in the full video :(
  10. That wobbling SBrick :) Would love to see it with all 4 RC motors going.
  11. http://brickset.com/parts/6036771 makes a suitable replacement for the 11x3 panel, albeit without as smooth a line
  12. I'm not sure if he did or not, but I got a couple off Bricks and Pieces.
  13. Where is this used? I've been hoping for exactly this part.
  14. In my experience, more diffs = loss of torque. I built something like the attached, with another diff combining the output of the motors again. Just pushing this not much more than this, four tyres, and a battery box, with no gearing up or down, didn't work.
  15. Have you tried using this part? https://rebrickable.com/parts/99008/technic-axle-4-with-centre-stop
  16. I know they're useful for fast builds, but there's something that feels a bit untoward about using a 10 year old part in a new model—given the price/scarcity of the parts, it makes it much harder for others to duplicate one's MOCs.
  17. Had no trouble getting the Porsche from Rockefeller Center.
  18. I got a delivery of another set from S@H today in Ireland and it was beaten all to hell too.
  19. My first electrical motor drive-train. Pushed the output of an XL and an L motor into an adder (inspired by Sariel's book). Each side was powered by its own 9V battery pack. Early work (only took photos then) here: Later revisions sent both outputs into another differential. Rotational speed and torque seemed pretty good, and I felt pretty happy. I threw the output down the middle of a Technic turntable to a live axle (with yet another diff) and switched all motors on. The frame didn't move. I ended up gearing down as much as I could using portal axles and that barely got it moving. I'm trying to make another drive-train with zero diffs in the hope that it'll avoid the issue.
  20. @sariel Did they mention anything about the model's perceived problems?
