    I'm currently on my last orders for a Hangarbay 327 for the UCS Falcon...very excited to begin my first MOC (even when its only based on a rebrickable... I'll try to incoporate my own ideas, though)

    Good point... I didn't think of taking any pictures before the mod was complete and then I didn't really bother with the original version anymore... it's still visible in the links I posted, though.

    Hello there, today I thought to myself why not post something (imho pretty useful) here on the board... having bought the LEGO MTT at May the 4th discount I couldn't really wait to build it. Now I finally had the spare time to do so. Right after finishing it I found the nasty gaps on both sides of the vehicle rather unfitting for such a nicely built craft. As I always try to tweak my models with spare parts to make them more movie accurate I went right through my pile of extras to set things right. Everyone who ownes this vehicle will know what I mean right away, all other folks find a nice review here and a picture of the awful gap in the original build here.) Anyway, here's what I came up with: A little more detail pulled appart backside of the panel The other side is tricky, because there is the knob to push out the droid carrier thing motor-part taken off the loose panel I hope you liked it, comments and feedback are most welcome. I didn't tackle the inside of the MTT yet, as I always want to stay very close to the original build but finish the outside appearance to my best abilities.

    That looks really spot on! Perfect work... I love the new engine area! I'm sooo tempted to tackle this one as well anytime this year... Any chance to get the hands on you LDD-file? ;-)

    Great, just great! A really fine MOC, Congratulations. I think if the interior was build from DBG or even black parts it would look even better as the windshield would appear darker.

    Ordered the MTT... At 10% discount and about 5€ in VIP points Yularen will cost me about 5€ (compared to the TRU 20% off deal) which seems more than a good deal to me... And a free poster on top! (I'll still have to get the Ewok Village at TRU or Legoland then... We'll see...) But they have a reminder in the german shop that the Death Star 10188 is now a rare product and it will be available as long as stock lasts... It seems it might really get OOP now...

    Damn, just got the Red Five XWing in the TRU Easter promo at 20% off...four weeks ago. I would love to get the Ewok Village now, but I think it would be kind of hard to sell this to my wife... Perhaps the Coruscant Police Gunship... ? I like the new Shocktroopers...

    I'm VIP, too... regular buying sets and parts from the store and at Legoland, but the flyer was adressed to my wife who ordered one time only last year... Crazy! But I also got a mailing from LEGO today, too

    Let's see if the german LEGO Online store even lists the Yularen as bonusfigure... I thought to get a Mini AT-DP with my order in January... but nope... not for us! I got a LEGO City "Flower-cart" instead... If they have it, I might look into getting the MTT... having a ton of 20%off coupons for the Legoland-store purchases its still expensive with "only" 10% off, but my son would really love it, and the Yularen would be worth the extra 10€ to me...
