  1. Thank you, but a few draw backs are, battery box access because I want to put new batteries in when completed, and also the scissor doors, don't go high enough. And if I were shrinked to that scale, I wouldn't be able to get in the car because the linear actuators are in the way.
  2. My laptop is fixed, now I can finally upload progress photos As you can see, the car is nearing completion, hopefully it will be finished tomorrow.
  3. You've made many errors, you can't just infer that I said supercars are all about top speed, without my clarification. Supercars are meant to have a great feel for handling and speed, yet are usable everyday. Supercars become really fun on mountain roads and open roads. But there are certain requirements for a supercar and hypercar, which is why the 0-60 and such are measured. The agera series was the evolution of the cc series. If you look at the agera and the ccx you will see that they have the same wheelbase and overall shape. The agers just has a more aerodynamic look and reworked lights, grills, wheels and air intakes, otherwise they look identical. Even top gear quote some requirements for being a supercar. They call it the supercar club. Hypercars use the same ideas as supercars, but are more precise and more developed and more extreme. Supercars are supposed to have exciting shapes, quoted by top gear and is also described as being as imaginative and creative with the elements as you want. That's why they describe it as the 10 year olds bedroom wall poster. Supercars are supposed to bring out the child in people, hypercars are like this but just take it to a new level of precision and excitement, and are not compromised, and go to extreme lengths to achieve the cars goals: Either it be top speed, handling, luxury, feel or precision or attention to detail.
  4. A gt car with more than 600hp is definitely a supercar, that viper and vette have supercar performance, supercar looks and more, therefore it doesn't deserve to be in the same class as an Alfa Romeo 4c: 'sports car'. The viper and vette are faster than the Lexus lfa, and everyone knows the lfa I a supercar. Both cars make enough downforce, otherwise they wouldn't be able to reach speeds of over 200mph. The Aston martin one77 is a gt car, but its a hypercar despite being slower than some supercars. The one77 is a hypercar because it uses expensive materials found in modern hypercars, has an aerodynamic shape, but most of all it costs 1 million pounds which is more expensive than an agera r, huayra, laferrari, p1 and 918. Also hypercars can be based on previous supercars the manufacturer has made, but a more extreme version. For example the huayra is an extreme version of the zonda, the agera r is a hyped up updated version of the cc series koenigseggs. And the one77 is an extreme version of the supercars that Aston martin made before.
  5. What crowkillers said is true. They were originally muscle cars, but the modern versions are supercars. As for blakbird, you'll find that car reviewer's and car enthusiasts can agree with the terms 'hypercar' and 'supercar' How on earth can you guys call two 600hp+ high performance cars, sports cars?!
  6. I did alot of experimenting with slfrodens gearboxes last year, but I couldn't get it to put the power down, so I scrapped it. Hopefully it will turn out better for you
  7. You will find the majority of car enthusiasts like me agree and acknowledge, the existence of hypercars. Otherwise why is the jaguar xj220 remembered for being the first hypercar?
  8. It is accepted and is necessary, because there are cars like the Veyron, koenigsegg, p1, huayra, laferrari, venom GT etc. Which exceed the boundaries of supercars and need a new league to define them as high performance cars. You can't seriously be suggesting that a Veyron is in the same class as a 458.
  9. The modern ones are too fast to be muscle cars and are too high tech, and they match upto European rivals like the huracan, 458 etc. There are classes of high performance cars, a sports car is a small car with a big engine e.g. Porsche Cayman, bmw z4, Audi tt, Mercedes sl, but the most obvious part is that sports cars are affordable and range from 20,000 to 80,000 pounds. A supercar is a high performance car which exceeds sports car performance e.g. Lamborghini aventador, Lexus lfa, 458, 12c, 650s, Audi r8, huracan, f12, ford GT, zonda, supercars range from 80,000 to 400,000 pounds. A hypercar is an extreme high performance vehicle which can perform exceptionally in an area of high performance like top speed, acceleration, handling, downforce etc. Hypercars are built in small numbers and are the ultimate expressions of what a road car can do or be. Hypercars range from 600,000 pounds to over 1,000,000 pounds. Hypercars are also crammed with the best technology and materials. A modern sports car is expected to do 60mph from 4-7 seconds and have a top speed from 155mph-186mph and sometimes are convertibles as well, they are also expected to be quite practical, and to be quite joyous to drive like a hot hatchback. Supercars are expected to do 60mph in less than 4 seconds and have a top speed of over 190mph, preferably 200mph. Supercars are expected to have exotic shapes and attract attention. Supercars are also are expected to have modern technology and maybe a few technologies used in a hypercar, and they are supposed to be useable everyday, and are expected to have quite good reliability. Hypercars are expected to do 60mph in less than 3 seconds, boast cutting edge technology like active chassis, suspension or have a hybrid system etc. They are expected to have over 700hp and have a top speed higher than one of the fastest supercars, preferably 215mph+. They are also a showcase for speed, performance and luxury. Hypercars will sacrifice certain aspects of a regular car to achieve its personality. For example the p1 and laferrari sacrifice creature comforts and basic equipment to make the car as light as possible for handling and speed. All modern hypercars and supercars are somewhat aerodynamic in one way or the other. A hypercar should also either have a really high top speed or have exceptional handling. Hypercars are expected to use expensive materials like carbon fiber and titanium, and also have extreme body shapes. The interiors will either be super stripped out for track based reasons or top speed, or be immensely luxurious using materials handmade in several hours. All hypercars, well modern ones are handmade or assembled by hand.
  10. Blakbird, how could he have not heard of the viper and corvette, 2 of the most obvious American supercars, or even a saleen s7.
  11. Oh I'm so screwed here, too many great entries to match upto. Like seriously guys calm down; I've been overwhelmed by so many prestige mocs and its not even the end of January. If this radical rxc goes as well as I think it will, then it could have a good chance of being in the top 3.
  12. I do have some more, but the car is almost finished, it will definitely be finished by the end of this week. I fitted scissor doors on the car (linear actuated), I just need to finish the panels behind the doors, which are infront of the rear wheels and then the car will be complete.
  13. Finishing my entry for TC6

  14. At the moment I made a WIP topic for my entry but I forgot to put WIP on the name but I tagged it with WIP. When I finish my entry, can I make a new topic for it saying (final version)
  15. It doesn't look anything like a McLaren, and McLaren doesn't justify anything because the 12c doesn't look like the p1. It just looks like a sharper version of the original 2005 Ford GT
  16. Anymore pictures,of progress because this seems like an interesting moc
  17. Can't wait to see how great it will turn out
  18. This deserves to be on the hall of fame
  19. Well if it complies with the rules and regulations then I see why not. That's what I did and I found myself joining TC6 despite the constant amount of great entries I saw. And I agree with Zblj, you need to add more description and content about your moc. But I think its a great representation of a tatra
  20. This looks really promising, there seems to be some great duel in TC6 between the tow trucks. There are 2 more large scale tow trucks like this in TC6 and they all look beastly. Voting will be incredibly hard in TC6 because there are so many worthy winners.
  21. I just made the doors after you posted the pictures, and they are scissor doors which are linear actuated, though I originally wanted to actuate it with a spring, but the spring didn't have enough travel. I wanted to make this huracan unique from the real one, I was actually going to give the huracan the Lamborghini 'SV' treatment, where the wheels, spoiler, lower skirts of the car are painted black. But after TC6, I will hopefully make instructions, and the instruction version will be much better than the TC6 version, I might possibly give it the SV treatment or even upgrade the gearbox and drivetrain, and might put those Lamborghini murciealago sv engine air intakes on the huracan, those ones that rise up when the engine gets hot.
  22. Thanks, that was great help, and alot of hassle. Btw what do you think of the progress
  23. Great thank you, I'll send a link. https://plus.google.com/app/basic/photos/117883514691193486949/album/posts?cbp=d6rai0eq8b33&partnerid=t2searchhp&sview=23&cid=5&soc-app=115&soc-platform=1&spath=/app/basic/photos&sparm=cbp%3Dvrvdeamk88o0%26partnerid%3Dt2searchhp%26sview%3D20%26cid%3D5%26soc-app%3D115%26soc-platform%3D1%26pv%3Dhi%26pgpnum%3D1 only copy the pictures from 2015 https://plus.google.com/app/basic/photos/117883514691193486949/album/6100970086868727953?cbp=1kgeo2358ifzu&partnerid=t2searchhp&sview=23&cid=5&soc-app=115&soc-platform=1&spath=/app/basic/photos&sparm=cbp%3Dvrvdeamk88o0%26partnerid%3Dt2searchhp%26sview%3D20%26cid%3D5%26soc-app%3D115%26soc-platform%3D1%26pv%3Dhi%26pgpnum%3D1 the newer pictures are the most recently updated progression of my WIP
