Modular future combat drone
braker23 replied to Samolot's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Impressive! Custom tracks, huge wheels, big RC shocks, very powerful & modular, I am in love :) Then there's the missile launcher which went immediately on on my build list, please share any other modules you come up with. Also, any chance for building instructions? -
This is awesome, I always wanted to build fighting robots, and the soccer idea is perfect for hours of fun. Thanks a lot for posting it :)

Awesome looking tank, as always. I just love the recoil effect, great idea. Still waiting for a compact firing mechanism, I know you can pull this off :)

Churchill tank
braker23 replied to Sariel's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
OMG, I was thrilled by the World of Tanks HUD in your video, it felt so much like the "real" thing. Tank builders out there, THIS is the proper way to present a MOC! And that torsion bar + rubber connectors combo is pure genius, as it allows more wheel travel, I bet it will become a common suspension technique from now on :) -
This is truly incredible, I just love real life replicating MOCs, thanks for sharing your creation with us.

Arctic Truck Mk II
braker23 replied to KirTech LAB's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Impressive performance on soft snow , shows it's got what ti takes, grats for this awesome MOC! But what did you use to make that cave? My Ice Mole has not tunneled through snow yet, and I doubt it will this year, so sad... -

He's referring to the same Fox as before, one of Zblj's greatest creations :) -
Now this was an awesome competition, thanks Jim for taking care of this is such a professional manner. Congrats to all of you, the participants, it was the best display of Technic "power" I saw, yet. Go go [TC7]!

Arctic Truck Mk II
braker23 replied to KirTech LAB's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Impressive model, I love the double tracks, the high clearance, the gearbox and it's overall bulky look. I bet it will perform very well on snow, cannot wait to see the video :) -
DrJB is spot on, I am a Technic / Bionicle fan, so I naturally bought most of these sets. They are masterfully done, have a very high count of Technic parts, and can be acquired at a decent price. I still miss Skopio, but that one is very rare, especially in Eruope. Also I highly recommend the 8108 Mobile Devastator, those huge lime wheels are found only in that set, and it also holds many Technic & Bionicle parts. From Exo-Force, I would also add 7721 Combat Crawler X2 to the sets above. There are others, of course, but that's for you to decide. Good luck in your endeavor!

Howdy everyone! I am Mihai, a 33 year old web developer, proud father of 2 boys, located in the awesome city of Cluj-Napoca, the official European Youth Capital for 2015 :) After a 15-year dark age, I rediscovered my long lost passion for Lego, thanks to my older son, which is now 4.5 years old. I started to buy massively, then shortly I discovered ROLUG, where I found an amazing community and made friends. Then I entered the world of Trial Trucks, and I never wanna leave! Since 3 months ago, I found this awesome forum, and decided to participate in all the contests I can. I am already at my third, see the voting topic here, there are true work of arts that the world must know :) I usually build TT cars, unusual vehicles and also Bionicle. See photos of my MOCs on my Flickr account, if you are curious and have the time. Thank you all, happy building!
