  1. Crazy and interesting, vitreolum! This is another great brick-built, larger-than-minifig figure! The mixels pieces are utilized well in many ways in this build. Do you have a background story for Ettin?
  2. Welcome to Eurobricks, SzyMek! I am looking forward to your community contributions!
  3. Welcome to Eurobricks, Joeseidon! Interesting builds so far, especially the many different types of combinations used. Excellent SNOT builds! The little mechas are cool! I have always had a fascination with tiny LEGO mechas, and yours are great! I am looking forward to more builds and other contributions to the community!
  4. Great series, MiloNelsiano! The deer suit guy hunter is great, especially those antlers! That warlock prince is very nice, especially his flail! I was wondering if inspiration came from the LotR Witch King, then I read the description . The sell-sword looks great as well, particularly the shield!
  5. Welcome to Eurobricks, broachpurger! I am looking forward to seeing your realistic City builds!
  6. Welcome to Eurobricks, blacksad! I hope you find this forum as useful and interesting as I have. I am looking forward to your contributions!
  7. Welcome to Eurobricks, Ayrlego! I am looking forward to your contributions to the community, especially in the Historic forum!
  8. This new banner is nice. I do like the new height, as it shows a bit more, but the old height does work well enough. While designing a banner for the Guilds of Historica contest, I kept wishing for more height to show a bit more, yet I still agree that the lower content is what matters most rather than the banner. I think the new height is a nice compromise, but I also only use a PC or laptop with a full monitor, so it would not really limit my scrolling. For users with smaller screens, this might be more annoying.
  9. Great build, Garmadon! I like the idea for the spy, though I know I would be extremely claustrophobic in his position! The wall and landscape look great, as does the dwarven council. The inner wall color and texture is realistic, as is the layered dirt colors under the landscape.
  10. Welcome to Eurobricks, Oracid! LEGO works well for making fun robots, especially with the Mindstorms sets and Technic parts. They are not as versatile with the pre-fabricated elements, but there is still quite a lot that can be done with them. I am looking forward to seeing your robots!
  11. Very neat, LegoMathijs! I really like the classic look to the build. The addition of power functions and lights is great! Keeping ships compatible with each other is a nice touch. The terrain is nicely done for such a large scale. My absolute favorite part is the portal with the exiting ship! Great job, LEGO Mathijs!
  12. Nice build, vitreolum! I like that house, especially the color scheme, the stones on bottom, the fence, the windows, the door, the doorknob! The tree, path, bridge, and water look nice as well. Must be a rainy season where the water is running high . I think it might look better if there was some sort of curb/retaining wall to prevent the water and path from being on the same level. Keep on with the excellent MOCs, vitreolum!
  13. This looks very neat, Steebles! It is built in a manner that seems feasible in reality, which I appreciate as a mechanical engineer. The legs look stable, the accessories attachment works well, the cockpit is well-placed. My favorite detail is the blue-striped left leg. The base looks great as well and is fitting for such a MOC. Great work, Steebles!
  14. Welcome to Eurobricks, Acchan! I am looking forward to your contributions to the community!
  15. Welcome to Eurobricks, LegoGuyK! I am looking forward to seeing what you build!
  16. It looks like the plates are not actually joined to the wall, but rather just held sideways using the pieces on top and bottom. The wall with the red and clear plates is made sideways and uses tiles (smooth, studless plates) to fill in and cover studs, both on the stud-edge of the wall and below the sideways wall. There are ways to attach this sideways wall on the inside if you want stability. I would recommend using a 2x2 to 2x4 plate for two or more of the red or white plates on each sideways wall and attaching them internally to one of these bricks (referencing BrickLink): These SNOT (Studs Not On Top) bricks will allow the attachment of the sideways wall to the studs-up base from the hidden interior. It will take some work to determine the correct placement of such pieces where the math works out correctly for this technique. Just ask if you have any other questions or if this is not the correct answer. I hope this makes sense and helps! -Slegengr
  17. Interesting series, Hammerstein! My favorite is definitely the Northern Bannerman, maybe because I am Mitgardian-biased or maybe because I had a similar idea! I also really like the stone cutter and the Varlyrian guard.
  18. Great build, Jakorin! I like the brick-build ship and the water effect with varying colors. The sea worm is interesting as well, though I wish the pins could be hidden better. The border is nice and simple and adds to the build without detracting from the focus.
  19. I am busy dreaming right now instead of building. I am moving soon, so most of my pieces are packed away. Hopefully there will be enough time to finish my ideas for Cat. B and C. (Halfway done with B, planning and parts collection well under way for C)
  20. Great series, kbcakir! I love that Arrow Raccoon! Great combinations throughout! I also find it interesting how many new ideas are brought out in a contest like this.
  21. This is great, LD! As others noted, that water is a marvelous effect, as are the rocks and trees! The fig posing and expressions are perfect as well! I do wish you had included a bank and rocks on the back side of the falls, though. It seems odd right now as it blends into the background...
  22. Sweet, Cesbrick! Another great build! The details are amazing, as are the building techniques! I love how each building has a different style, both for the walls and for the roof including color variations. The activity of the minifigures gives it a great lively feeling!
  23. This is very nice, Regenerate Builder! The black and dark brown go very well together, especially with the black trees and the bright red flowers. I also like the texture variation in the black using regular and round bricks. The rooflines create a visual appeal with the different angles, and the small projecting rooms on the towers are great!
  24. Welcome to Eurobricks, TuftedDuck! I am looking forward to your contributions, especially in the sci-fi and historic forums!
