  1. Nice build, Infernum! What a great way to showcase the winning mount from the challenge! I love the landscaping and rockwork here. The dragon is very nicely done as well. The posing and smoothness of the joints look very organic. This build is entirely fitting for Mitgardia as well. Brick on, Infernum!
  2. Great build, Mccoyed! There are many nice details to note: fig posing, snow effect and landscaping, varying log walls, interior and exterior, and more! My favorite detail is the use of rubber bands around the round studs to make the crossing design. The yellow and green on the floor is great, especially around the chairs on the raised end of the hall. The slight offset of additional height on the raised platform looks great! The Norse influence on this build is quite evident and excellently done. Brick on, Mccoyed!
  3. Nice minifigures, Yooha! One of my favorites is the rebel noble lady with an excellent combination of torso and legs! My other favorite is the Mitgardian miner with the perfect face, torso, and equipment.
  4. Nice minifigures, MKJ! I particularly like the bird-of-prey trainer, desert farmer, and Vincent with their great combinations! The oasis guard and Avalonian knight are very cool as well. Nice idea for the well-dressed orc ambassador!
  5. Great series, Vitreolum! I like the lizardfolk brute and the adventurer (Aymer from your story sequence, if I am not mistaken). The idea for Sir Prancilot and his fitting appearance are great as well!
  6. Nice series and great photography, Gunman! I like the Mitgardian miner and the Avalonian Bloodborne.
  7. Nice extension to your earlier build, BrickCurve! The canal looks better each time I see it, especially with a town section behind it. The tiling on the ground looks nice, as does the border around the MOC. That is a nice building and market stand. Brick on, BrickCurve!
  8. Welcome to Eurobricks, Darth Brick! This community is great for teaching new techniques and helping builders develop their styles, be it MOCing or collecting. Once the first rock moved in the direction of AFOL-hood, an avalanche is likely to occur . I am looking forward to seeing what you build!
  9. I do agree with your original thought that the ground should be plain, but it is just a tad too plain (mostly the fact that it is perfectly flat with no details). The ground should be mostly bare to focus the attention on the building, but it looks less realistic and more TLG-ish when only a flat plate is used. I am looking forward to more of your amazing builds and stories!
  10. Thanks, Gunman! I am glad you like the angles and that my practice in photography is yielding improvements.
  11. Great build, vitreolum! The subtle curve in the wall is fantastic! I also like that trebuchet and the wall, foliage, and stones. The minifigures work well: the dwarves have some nice variation and the Drow look like Drow to me. A story to go with this build would certainly be nice. Brick on, vitreolum!
  12. Great build, LD! The house does look more ordinary than your usual builds, but it is still excellent. The stone walls have a nice level of texture and color mottling. The purple roof looks great as well. The ground style you are developing works quite well. The small details are great, such as the transparent smoke, the door and door hinges, those mushrooms, the black vines, the stone path... great! Brick on, LD!
  13. Welcome to Eurobricks, ZootyCutie! I am looking forward to seeing your Mixels. Do you only collect them, or do you also mix them and create your own creatures?
  14. Thanks for the compliment, Garmadon! Thanks Kayne! I appreciate the compliment. Thanks for the compliment, ME! The droid arms proved to be somewhat frustrating, but anything worth doing is worth some frustration to do it right .
  15. This is really nice, ME! The tiled walls with ruinous holes are very nice, as is the general ruined feel of the structure. The landscaping has a marvelous balance of foliage, rocks, and color, especially the autumn trees contrasting the deep green foliage. That sand green pool looks great, as does the nearby fallen tree! The story is very intriguing and leaves me sad but wanting more. The only thing that bothers me is the vast expanse of plain, flat plates around the structure. A few rocks, elevation variation, or color variation would help this out. Brick on, ME!
  16. Welcome to Eurobricks, bigfefi! I am looking forward to seeing the city you and your son build .
  17. Nice port town, Bacon Potatoes! I like the action and general business of this port. There are many nice details, such as the fugitive in the barrel, the fish rack, the Kaliphlin spice-trader, the lunch-man's sitting legs, the crate lids utilizing the CMF plate, so many small details to take in. I like the use of multiple roofing techniques. Do you have an overall shot of this build that shows it in its entirety? I would like to see a view with no corners cut off. Brick on, Bacon Potatoes!
  18. Nice tavern, MKJ! The building looks nice from the outside and the inside. I like the general activity. That chandelier and the holding bar is a nice idea. My favorite detail is the stove with bent chimney pipe. The variation in the minifigures is great as well for this tavern. Congratulations on completing all Phase II builds! Brick on, MKJ!
  19. Welcome to Eurobricks, Alexander! Check out the EB Site Guidlines and FAQ to answer most questions. From my experience, the answers to your questions can be seen in existing topics and posts. 1) Yes, photography is part of the LEGO hobby, and many users have posted about photography looking for tips and help. 1.1) There are topics about photography under sub-forums, so I would search for existing topics within the same category sub-forum (such as Star Wars Photography). If you have a specific question about photography in general, it seems to fit in the General LEGO Discussion forum, as "photography" is one of the sub-headings. 2) According to the FAQ, you are limited on how many links can be in your signature based on the number of posts on Eurobricks, but links to Facebook and Instagram are not banned (as far as I can tell). I believe you can have 2 links in your signature once you reach 10 posts and acquire the rank of "Vassal". Hopefully a Moderator can shed some light on this as well, so there is authority behind it. I also hope I have not taken more authority than I should have in answering these questions, but I tried to only refer to authority (Site Guidelines and FAQ) rather than claim my own authority. I am looking forward to seeing your pictures and other contributions to this community!
  20. I am still slowly working on my Challenge III builds, but I have run into some delays. Right now, nearly everything had to be packed away due to my roommate (and landlord) deciding to repaint and carpet the living room and family room (where I currently utilized space for my LEGO hobby). I have very little other space, so my building is limited. I also may be moving soon (which would make the packing worthwhile). If this is the case, I may not finish all I had hoped for Challenge III. I will continue to build when I have the chance and see what I can accomplish. I am glad to see others continuing to build and am looking forward to seeing more Challenge III builds and freebuilds!
  21. @DarthTwoShedsJackson I totally agree with this. I think this is the simple solution to the question: MOCer: boxes are likely a waste of space and unneeded. Collecter: keep boxes as space allows, especially ones you are interested in. Investor: keep everything, preferably unopened. I also have a personal policy that I will never leave a set unopened or use LEGO only for an investment to resell later, as I also think it goes against what LEGO is supposed to be for me: a creative and imaginative art medium and engineering tool.
  22. That crack is excellent, Dubbadgrim! I also particularly like the tipping chest, table with skull and map, and the shield on the wall. The fig posing and facial expression is perfect! Brick on, Dubbadgrim!
  23. Welcome to Eurobricks, Mike! Collecting and building are great enjoyment, but I think you will find that MOCing is where you can let your imagination and creativity run even more freely. I am looking forward to seeing what you build!
  24. Interesting minifigures, Mike S! Great humor in this series! I like the Drow Commander the best. The head/hair/armor/cape/torso combination is perfect for what I picture a variation of Drow to be.
  25. Great minifigures, SK! I like the many combinations you made. My favorites are the Kaliphlin Royal Guard (piece and color combinations), the Nocturnus orc farmer (concept and torso/hat combination), and the Northern hunter from Mitgardia (parka hood/torso/legs combination). The backwards Uruk-Hai torso for the nightstalker works particularly well also.
