  1. Very nice tanks! They look like they actually could hover and be a real threat. Andy D
  2. Very nice, it will take me several viewings to take it all in. Andy D
  3. Wow! Very nice landscaping, love all the color. The tree is phemononal, I would really like to see more details on the tree! Andy D
  4. You did much better than OK! Such a massive, powerful tower. As others have said, the rocks, vegetation and water re all very nice as well. Andy D
  5. The tower in all white is phenomonal. The courtyard is very detailed. And the large tree, the large tree! Very. Nice. Andy D
  6. I really like all the details, small and large. The white, blue and gold are just perfect. Andy D
  7. I really like this. It is done well, the prison walls, the tunnel, all seem very whimsical to me. Andy D
  8. Looking good! You must be the first with your LEGO Christmas display up. Where did you get your LED light sets? I some bought last year from a guy in San Diego, CA that I did not get a chance to set them up, butI hope to use them this year. Funny you should post this today, as today my wife and I are setting up our Christmas trees to test the lights. Looks like a busy Christmas village, or a busy village at Christmas time. Mine won't go up for a couple of weeks. Andy D
  9. Is it just one store? I've spent about $2k between 2 stores. Roughly half per store. Don't tell my wife. Andy D
  10. What is the $$ range that puts one in the top 25? My wife be glad I didn't get an invite (vbg). Andy D
  11. I am going to have to try this! I have the pieces, so it is just time that I need. Thanks for posting this. Andy D
  12. This is an incredible build! The overall feel is of a very old, massive structure. I particularly like he rock work. Andy D
  13. Very interesting set. Very good review. Looks like there is one NIB in the USA for $600, and numerous used and complete in Europe for around $200. I never knew anything like this existed, so I learned something today, thanks for doing this. Andy D
  14. Wow! That thing is HUGE! I don't know where to look, the waterfall is the best I remember seeing, ever. The mountain is huge. The little details are all over the place. How long did. It take to design/build? Any idea how many bricks are involved? That give the rest of something to aim for in any MOC. Thanks for sharing this. Andy D
  15. Thanks for your comments. Andy D
  16. Very nice. I like the Grimr Keep best (I like both), but my favorite is the Grimr Keep mainly because of the height, the rocks (the rock work is very interesting) and the foilage. Andy D
  17. Very nice. Very ambitious MOC, I Look forward to updates as you go along. Andy D
  18. This is just amazing! All the details. I am reminded of an iceburg, only 10 percent above the surface, omly 10 percent of this MOC visible. I am not sure you could post enough photos to do it justice. The castle is great, but adding the rocks and the mountain and the caves, ah the caves. I await your next creation, after I more fully explore this one. Andy D
  19. This is really great! I am now studying trees and rocks, and you did both beautifully! Andy D
  20. On Halloween The Count's Cemetary comes alive (well, undead anyway) This is a WIP as I just did not have time to finish before Halloween. This is outside the gate to The Count's Cemetary, Open the gate... If you dare... You just had to go and open the gate On Halloween night the Count's statue changes from grey cement to full color. This is an overview, on the right you see the undead doing their favorite dance, "The Thriller" On the left side of the cemetary, just outside the broken wall is a coven of witches, doing what witches do. (The Cauldron is an inside-out 56x26 LEGO tyre from LegoLord's MOC, "The Cauldron of Doom" at http://mocpages.com/moc.php/260444 ) Behind the witches are a couple (because one is never enough) headless horsemen riding through the Jack-O-Lantern patch Just a close-up of the Thriller dance. An overview of the cemetary Finally, The Count coming out of his tomb for the Halloween celebration. See more of the Count's Cemetary at I hope you enjoy, C&C welcome. Happy late Halloween, Andy D
  21. I like this build a lot! The vegetation gives it an overgrown look (which I think is great). I also. Like the way you included vegatation and the fountain in/on the rocks. Oh yeah, the sharpened wooden stakes are very clever! Good luck in the challenge. Andy D
  22. Great work. The pig sign is a stroke of genius. Let's people know what kind of shop it is. Back then, many shops used something to show what they sold as many people could not read, so the pig adds realism. I also agree tht a couple of animals "waiting in the wings" would be a nice touch. Andy D
  23. This is fantastic! I really like all the different trees, it makes it look like a real tropical jungle. This is LEGO art at it's best! The hills/mountains and caves really add to the realism. Andy D
  24. Excellent! Lots of detail both inside and out. So much to look at it is difficult to focus on one thing. This will definately take me a few times of viewing to take it all in. Thanks. Andy D
  25. So much to like here. Serious and humorous. The trees are really interesting. Andy D
