    Do you really think those two sets are primarily targeted to the same audience? And despite that i still think there will be plenty people buying both (including me) even in case they both contain the great hall.

    The two news sets look great, not sure about the price though. I wish we get more herbivore dinosaurs (Stygimoloch is great!) but well i guess children prefer T-Rex & Raptors.

    Looks great, i was actually thinking about doing something similar. I like that you used so much of the original set. The only nitpick i would have is that the floor looks too clean. :) Anyway good job.

    US prices are without tax while your Euro price has it included. Most probably that doesn't bridge the whole difference but it is definitely not as big as your simple comparison suggests.

    Thanks but it's not really a MOC but original LEGO IDEAS submission by Rakrondewl https://ideas.lego.com/projects/7c014a00-ebcd-4290-bfa4-072c1cce3e6e who was so kind to release the LDD file to us. Yes i agree with the rocks however at the moment it just wouldn't fit into the shelf i have for it unfortunately. :) Maybe in the future.

    My estimate would be between 500-550 EUR. I didn't try to optimize number of orders & associated shipping costs too much but on the other hand i didn't buy some of the more expensive parts or at least not in the full amount. I will say it can definitely be done cheaper.

    "Bit" later than originally planned but i finally built the Minas Tirith. Not 100% complete yet and some parts need to be changed to correct color but it is still a very nice build to look at. Thanks RAKRONDEWL for releasing the LDD file to public!

    Yes i removed the original opening mechanism. Now the hood is only resting on two 1x1 bricks. Nothing super sturdy but enough for display purposes. Well who said that being a Jedi is easy. :D I don't think it is accurate but looking at the model it would be probably easier to build it from scratch than trying to mod it.

    Why haven't we seen them? Simple explanation would be that because at the time of OT they didn't exist. :) But new vehicles/troops are needed for new trilogy so the movie continuity goes sideways in this case. I agree with you about the sets, i might just collect the figures.
