  1. I've built two similar setups with two servos. The first one had really bad bracing on the steering bevel gears, so they got too loose and malfunctioned, the second one (top line, middle photo) was i think too long - the distance between axles was a bit to big. I think you might encounter the problem of getting stuck with your jeep while overcoming top of the hills.
  2. Well I guess I was overreacting a bit - it is a proposed law, waiting to get accepted. It proposes cycling only on designated roads and paths. There are penalties up to 2k€, if the proposal passes...try google it, there are many articles about it. jantjeuh, is there anything that says freedom more than this?
  3. Yeah Victor, we are all drulling over you creations too, so don't feel bad.
  4. Why the long face Victor ? You must admit that that pick up looks great.
  5. Cool! Are those 96 or 108 mm tires? I bought 108 mm and they don't look so wide, so I'm guessing the smaller ones.
  6. Are the rear wheels rolling ok? The CV joint axle piece is held only by one stud hole... Funny, when I build, I discard such great ideas (if I got'em ofcourse :-)), because of prejudice, that this sure cannot work...
  7. I believe you're right. Almost every bit of land in our country is regulated by "natura2000", and we're not even as near the western Europe as we like to think we are... Hear this, our environmetalists achieved prohibition of offroad cycling!!! Soon, farting in the woods will be illegal! (Sorry, I got carried away a bit, and I am not even a mountain biker :-P) Don't get me wrong, I care about the environment, I do, but some things just don't make sense (some OT-ing here, I apologise)
  8. That's what I ment - real truck trial! None of these in the US??? Surprising indeed.
  9. Fantastic renders!!! I'm really surprised, I thought everything related to gasoline and racing happens in the USA, seriously.
  10. Stop shouting! You'll wake people up I guess the next thing that would put a spark in this debate would be B model photos...
  11. If you did what the instructions told you, then there must be something with the servo. Mine was jumping rapidly from on position to the other. I contacted TLG via customer service and received a new motor with no questions asked. I somehow managed to get the damaged one to work, but it sometimes still loses its mind and starts to get freaky :-) What I do, is that I manually force the servo left and right a couple of times and it works for a period of time, so now I kinda have 1,5 servos ;-)
  12. If it is unsealed, then the box is open and you should just open it again ;-)
  13. Did anyone count the number of panels on the final version? It ses there has the numbervof panels was reduced, or am I still seeing everything about the soontobereleased ugly duckling in a bad way?
  14. "Cause I'm a material girl in a material world" I wonder; are those awards more of the honor type or the prize type ? Interesting, I started with a similar project with pendular chassis, only that it isn't balanced by gears, but by a linkage. I like your model a lot - why did you use two balancing axles - do you think one wouldn't be enough to balance the car? As I see it, and how my chassis works, there really isn't much strain on that balancing parts...the body swings gently as a breeze . And of course - congratulations!!!
  15. Wow, that 4 bar bush is my first! The others I saw in a couple of MOCs and I found them quite useful, so I bought some on BL. I think that Thirdwigg used four of those 8x3x2 liftarms on his Kenworth T55. I saw that 44136 chest section used as suspension arms in a couple MOCs - there was one really cool 1920ies truck using four moto cross tires (unfortunately cannot find it right now...) EDIT: Well, even though the MOC itself isn't something special (quite lame for the stuff that is presented here), I used some of those parts in in this little fella - well at least my kids liked it
  16. Wow, looks really good - what did it cost you to make such a display case? Is the bottom also custom made?
  17. Congratulations on Hall Of Fame!!! Very well deserved!!!
  18. That turntable is also mighty strong! No problems with the actuator gearing?
  19. Great creation man!!! The looks are right on spot - I only know Stratos form CMR3 and it was sure hard to handle - it seems you've managed to reproduce that feature as well :) I like the video a lot. Of course I have to bug you about instructions, I'm not ashamed, many will bug you about that Best regards
  20. I sometimes use it to fill a 1 stud gap and the double pin with bush cannot be used... otherwise yeah - cranks
  21. 9: 10 2: 6 3: 4 5: 3 7: 2 1: 1 Respect to all the contestants! Great entries!
  22. Is that the part you're talking about - I have those from 8460-1 Mobile Crane - the new part seems to be smooth though.
  23. Can they lift the truck? They look robust enough.
  24. Perhapse the sides should be totaly flat, and not "bent" - that is the effect of that middle slope brick. The actual car's sides seem flat to me and are leaning just a bit to the top. Have you tried replacing that slope with 1x1x1 bricks?
  25. I just took a look at mine from 8297(all black) and it looks there is no sign of any piece number or LEGO sign so... they feel very right to me, no stiffness, nothing - but I am certain that these are real since I bought the set... I doubt that you have a fake part... does it even exist form a third party???
