  1. Going by the quote from a Lego representative, there is a change coming to the PF components. See the last couple of paragraphs in this article: http://www.technicbricks.com/2016/01/wedo-20-future-of-pf.html?m=1 What's not known is the time line, technical details about the new components or prices.
  2. Good progress. Will you be aligning the splits on the rear bumper?
  3. The TC5 models are a bit different, as they require two sets to build. They should probably have their own category, but I'll let you decide.
  4. It's great to see it completed - it's a beautiful, incredibly detailed model. Are you building more than one copy?
  5. You could probably do it with Mindstorms but it will be much cheaper and quicker to find a kid in your neighborhood who's willing to sort bricks for a whole Saturday for $20.
  6. Looking good, Clive. This is a set I refuse to get, not because it's not great, but because I don't want to get hooked on an expensive collection (I also have the same policy on the Architecture, Creator buildings and Train collections). I'm really enjoying your updates and had a good laugh at the flying ABS - maybe you'll be the first to figure out how to make Lego fly.
  7. Nice job on this, the new panels work really well in the back. If you're planning a second version, place the steering motor directly on the axle to prevent suspension twist during steering.
  8. Cute video! I'm always surprised how calm the hamsters are riding around in your creations. Do they get rewards for being good?
  9. Technic, Panel Curved 3 x 6 x 3 Available in blue and yellow. I'm not sure why LDD lists it as 3 x 5 x 3.
  10. Linear solution, you can also replace the 4L connector with a 3L connector:
  11. Use a 2L beam for rotation, or the cam piece if your linear mechanism is vertical. It doesn't get smaller than that.
  12. That's a lot of stuff in a tiny space! Very well done. The warehouse is great, too.
  13. The B model is reminiscent of the Tyrrell P34, except for the axle layout: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tyrrell_P34 Thanks for the review.
  14. Good work, Clive, this went much fast than I expected. I think you'll enjoy building with bricks, although taking them apart may be a different story.
  15. If the shaft that's not active is free-running, all that's needed is a gear between the two outputs. I see the not active shafts rotate very slowly, suggesting that they are not engaged.
  16. Good start! Are you planning more projects for the summer?
  17. Not a car, that's for sure. Three of my last four projects have been cars and I need a break from them. I'm thinking a walker of some sort, probably using Mindstorms.
  18. Thank you Edwin and Clive. I'm quite happy with it, I think I'll build something larger for my next project.
  19. 1x L-Motor for drive, 1:1 gear ratio 1x Servo Motor for steering 49.5 x 20 tires Weight: 490 grams with batteries Full description.
  20. Wow, these are beautiful. Fantastic job.
  21. Will you be recording the 4x4 challenge? It's always fun to watch those.
  22. The steering cabin looks great, I really like the SNOT. All the details are excellent, I'm always impressed by what you do at such a small scale.
  23. Great pictures today, the colors are well saturated and details are very sharp. Did you upgrade cameras? Or get a stand for the old one?
