Unrest in the Forest: Confirmation & Discussion
Yzalirk replied to Walter Kovacs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
My guess would be sometime this afternoon. -
Beautiful!

Wow, Waterbrick, that looks insane! I mean that in a good way, of course. Robert, I recommend taking Waterbrick's advice and use use what he's provided you. You don't want to have a character with large legs and an a large thorax (is that the back part of the spider?) and be stuck with a tiny body. It just makes no sense. But I would definitely be more terrified of Waterbrick's version of Nalguz rather than the pink one.

Book II - Kaliphlin: Guild sign-up and Discussion
Yzalirk replied to SkaForHire's topic in Guilds of Historica
Wait a second, if I'm understanding you correctly, you're making everyone's sig-fig from Kaliphlin? If so, that's cool and all but I hate to burst your bubble but my new sig-fig is going to be up sometime soon(ish). But, if you have the parts to the minifig in my signature, than you're fine. -

Nice teasers, Ska, I can't wait! -
Mhinak replies to Nalguz. "No, I can't really say I have anything to sustain myself. I do have some parts and pieces for things I tinker around with, to help keep my sanity. I can gladly say I use to be an engineer and a tinkerer before I came here and I was damn good at both."
-
Will he get extra evil and creepy?
-
"Me, mock you? Of course not! It is nice to meet you, Nalguz. The name's Mhinak, the almighty yet cunning Dwarven tinkerer. Feel free to order anything you want, they have amazing food here, laddie! Speaking of which, I'm going to get more to eat." Mhinak orders some Roast Beef and Mead.
-
That's good enough for me!
-
That is true, I guess I can never pull off that type of character than. Me? Well, let's just say I can pull off a pretty good smart-big behind character because I'm one in real life. I don't even know what to say to that since that is basically it! I think it goes without saying that Humans are just overrated.
-
Mhinak lifts an eyebrow and stares at the giant spider. "You clearly are not from around these parts, where do you come from? I can't say that I've met anyone of your stature before but I guess this'll be a start, laddie. Nonetheless, welcome to the hall. And... ughh, what is that smell?"
-
Can you at least re-name weapons?
-
Welcome aboard! I strongly suggest that you crop down your picture though so it doesn't take up a lot of room for when your on a quest. It helps keep things organized and "tidy". I should mention that it isn't very wise to be unlikable since you don't want people to not like you and not want to quest with you because of being negative all the time. Overall though, I think you took a badass approach for a character. And Asphalt, Dwarves are secretly the best.

Unrest in the Forest, Day 1: Rush
Yzalirk replied to Walter Kovacs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
You are right about that but it doesn't really help considering there are quite a lot of people who voted for him. And how do we know that all scum voted for Alastair and didn't "scatter" their votes? That's what concerns me. Nonetheless, if Alastair turns up as an Oak tomorrow, I think we should look at who started the bandwagon against him and who jumped on it without having a strong conviction against him. -

I'm quite flattered you added me there. And what information will we even get out of it if he turns up as an Oak? That we killed one off? That's some nice information that'll be put into good use. -
Has there ever been discussion about a crafting system for Heroica? I don't recall seeing one at all. Whenever I plan to host a quest, I'd like to add schematics for rewards.

Unrest in the Forest, Day 1: Rush
Yzalirk replied to Walter Kovacs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Touche, you got me there, I'll give you that. Yeah, people occasionally do that, yes, but I could be a smart-megablocks and say that we're trees! I'll have you know I'm a person and I tend to not leave out nouns when talking to someone because I find it rather odd. Don't ask why, it's just a preference. I didn't realize what I had originally put would be replaced by "megablocks" so hopefully you know what I put. -
Mhinak wakes up from his unexpected nap. "Is that gold I smell?! Image the possibilities gold can be used for! I wish I had a machine companion made of gold, or perhaps an ornate Hand Cannon or Crossbow with gold. Oh, the possibilities. Anyways, I'd trade with you guys but I currently have nothing of value."

I look forward to the quests from both of you!

Unrest in the Forest, Day 1: Rush
Yzalirk replied to Walter Kovacs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Thanks, I don't try to do it often. In all seriousness though, I don't believe Alastair is a Maple so that's why I'm not voting for him. I'm not trying to defend him but simply voice my opinion. If he does turn out to be a Maple, then there you go, good job. But if he turns out to be an Oak, then lets just so I'm not going to be a dick. I believe that Alastair is a bit "inexperienced" compared to most people here, like myself, so that's why he's flailing. I know how it feels to be in that situation and it doesn't feel good, hence the fact I didn't vote against him. However, that's just me and like I said earlier, I get the boot no matter who I vote for. It's who you think is the best vote that matters so if you guys think he's the best for the day, then there you go. Sorry, I'm not familiar with your style on English. Weren't you taught to include a noun in a sentence when you are trying to direct it towards someone? If you're going to try and base a vote against me for a few typos, at least use correct grammar yourself. -

That is also true, both what you said and the grammar lesson. I already knew that but I am too lazy to reread sometimes. I still suspect Larry but I suspect Catarina more. Don't let her fool you, she fooled people last game but not me and when she turned out to be scum, I wanted to say "I told 'ya so!" but I didn't want to be a dick about it so I said nothing. If I were up to be voted as the lynch for the day, I'm perfectly fine with that as long as there is good factual evidence that would suggest me to be a Maple and not just a hunch or suspicion with no reason. I've seen how Alastair has played before and it's very close to his behavior now which doesn't convince me of him being a Maple. I just sure hope I'm right about Alastair. And can you guys not refer to me as a "she" tree, I'm a manly tree with a not-so manly name apparently! -

I suppose your right. Now that I think about it, it makes no sense that a Maple would defend another Maple for editing his post since that isn't very scummy but could have simply been a mistake. Unvote: Larry Larch (TheLazyChicken) Vote: Catarina Dogwood (adventurer1) I think it's self explanatory considering what I have said but I'll essentially repeat myself. I find her to very annoying and she gets very defensive when a few people vote for her which is just unnecessary. She is also very hypocritical when it comes down that if you accuse her for being a Maple, it's not fine but when she does it, it's perfectly normal. If she wants to be sacrificed as a martyr, so be it, you can have my vote. Besides, most of her posts have been fluff. Also, I really don't believe Alastair is a Maple but if he does turn up to be one tomorrow, I would be amazed. I should also mention that Catarina is pretty good at The Flail despite the fact she can hardly move, only her branches. -

You said yourself that would don't mind being "sacrificed" though so why are you doing The Flail when you have one vote against you (I think?). And I agree with what Cherry said. It seems to me when you you vote for someone who is suspicious for you, it's fine, but when someone else does it to you, you get "butt-hurt" as per people say. Not only are you doing this game but you've done the very same thing last game.
