  1. Nice little scene, I do like the fire on the ground as well.
  2. Very nice build, the gate is superb!
  3. My brain hurts now. I also noticed I have a new title, did you give this to moi? I love it!
  4. Nice build and this is certainly a good capture for Ulandus!
  5. Don't be! Let me think of it as you letting me get revenge on the town, in the sense that I stirred up a lot of confusion.
  6. Nice build Kai and I like the story with it as well.
  7. Awesome surfaced crocodile and... death to High Council sympathizers!
  8. Finally you guys can see that I was indeed an Oak. Remember how I was talking all sorts of crazy and having the final laugh before I got lynched? Yeah... I did get that final laugh. Too bad I wasn't a Jester. I hope now you guys get a feel for how I play now but I can't say for sure that I'll play another game. This gets too intense, even for me.
  9. Beautiful build here! Apart from the water pump system, I really like the deep water effect you gave it.
  10. Despite me being a strong supporter for Ulandus I like the scene a lot.
  11. Very nice battle scene and I really like the water wheel.
  12. That interior is beautiful! The wall and floor techniques are fantastic.
  13. Thanks! I may be adding more to it and changing a few things around but I just hope I gave the general point across with the introduction. I love how Ulandus works and I support their ideas strongly hence I signed-up for them first. A friend of Ulandus is a friend to me. I also like the first picture a lot from that game! I will indeed make it interesting since I didn't want to go with the stereotypical heroic swordsman who is rich and famous. I'm glad you like the approach I'm taking and hopefully Mhinak can become a good swordsman. If not, I wonder how good of a commander he could be.
  14. Here are the details for my character, Name: Mhinak (may change) Race: Dwarf Age: 40 years old Religion: Similar to Atheism Birth Place: Mitgardia Back Story/Biography - Mhinak is a Dwarf born in Mitgardia who moved to Kaliphlin when he was 20 years old to study astronomy but also to become a skilled metalworker, tinkerer, and craftsman. Overall, he's a very intelligent Dwarf. He's also become fascinated with the Dwarven Oil Industry in Kaliphlin. Some may question his belief that Science is more powerful than the will of any God. He is a strong supporter of the Dwarven Imperialists, who believe in peace, order, and equality to Dwarves. He has had hardly any military experience though, but has forged swords. He's also began to forge other things, like Dwarven constructs and automatons, Dwarven strong-arms, cogs and gears, and some other things. And because of the Dwarven Oil Industry, he believes the oil can make his creations work, he has yet to test the theories. Overall, he is a charismatic character, mainly among other Dwarves. He's become involved with Dwarven politics, especially those that affect the Dwarven military. He's been tasked to forge weapons, for the most part. He's become respected by his peers and has invested in the Dwarven military and various trading companies and other industries. He also plans to one day have his own company that produces goods in the name of Science that can benefit the lives of many people. He's hardly had interactions with those who are not Dwarves. He finds Humans and Elves to be rather arrogant, from old stories he's read. It should also be noted that he would be considered a middle-class citizen and whatever extra gold he has laying around is what he invests with. Thought on Current Situation in Kaliphlin - He loves Kaliphlin, so you'd expect for him to support the High Council, but no. He supports trade with Avalonia and Mitgardia, especially since he's a Mitgardia-born Dwarf. He believes Kaliphlin should be protected by various Legions. That way, there's more protection and more organization. Mhinak also supports the fact that Ulandus wants to be reunited with Kaliphlin. Even though he may not be the best fighter, he'll do whatever he needs to do to support Ulandus. Even if he has to train to become a good swordsman, he will do that. But technology can help win wars along with the aid of Dwarves. That is all I have so far and I do plan to expand of more about my character since I know I'll have more to contribute to the backstory of him. I hope you guys like it so far and if you want to share any thoughts on it, feel free if you'd like.
  15. I would also like to welcome you to GoH as well, Jacob, despite me not being in Nocturnus. I really like the unique look of your character, I find it rather spectacular!
  16. Hey guys, I want to introduce my new character so expect a back story for him in a short while. I'll also be ordering my minifigs soon, for this challenge. I might have to make adjustments so I can also buy some bricks that I can use for backgrounds but the minifigs I plan to use are quite expensive, especially for Dwarves! I want to prove myself to you guys despite all of us not fighting under the same banner. I also hate how I hardly ever build but I plan to have about three a week, mainly for the challenges.
  17. Do we have to choose to either build a battle scene or a guerrilla phase or can you do both a week? I want to make the most of this challenge. And for the battle scenes, do have our own little battles or are they supposed to be for just one big battle and not separates?
  18. Quick question though - Would I be allowed to have the 13th Legion wear Red and a second color and have them be say Dwarf-only? Or does it have to be a different color entirely?
  19. Perfect challenge Ska, I'm in love with it! Now I must get my minifig stuff ordered within the next few days since I don't want to miss the deadline.
  20. But Gnome-worshiping theocracies are awesome, Ska! I hope you don't mind but later I'll try to be posting this huge back story for my new character, who will be a Dwarf by the way. I'll try to keep it more lore-friendlier compared to my last sig-fig who, let's be honest here, was a flop. This time around, I hope to influence people that Dwarves are not to be messed with and their strategies for things are complicated to Humans and Elves. That's why I will be asking someone later, which will most likely be you Ska, for your opinion on things. I'm a man of science and so are Dwarves... for the most part. Or they either mine and tinker with things. I don't want to stick with the standard Dwarves from the Hobbit or Lord of the Rings even though Gimli is a badass Dwarf. Nonetheless, I hope to represent Dwarves in a manor that people respect them more.
  21. It's not all reptiles, I think Chameleons in particular. I have a Leopard Gecko, who is about 8 years old (roughly), and has never been sick. Maybe I just take care of him good, I'm not sure.
  22. Speaking of which, I should find out if I should post my new backstory for my new and final character. I really do want to use him for the challenge and no longer want to worry about getting him up. It's odd that not many people have Dwarf sig-figs. I just hope my interpretation of Dwarves doesn't "upset" people.
  23. Unless you prefer the taste then you would or if you're just very thirsty.
  24. Welcome to Kaliphlin! I can understand your issue since I'm basically in the same predicament. I'm ordering things soon as well to actually have my sig-fig and soldiers. As for now, you could briefly describe your character and get up a picture later on. I don't see a problem with that. And yes, for the civil war you choose the faction you wish to fight for in the main thread. Also, the preregister was I think for people who were in Kaliphlin for a while and those with certain tags, I think.
