  1. Ya....but I noticed you asked for posts and some of the other settlement threads featured a picture of each location, so I added a thread where I can reference the ones I posted....if you'd rather it be more compact and less pictures, feel free to delete the post...
  2. Roger....so, for freebuild form compliance.....do I need to submit a freebuild form for everything other than "The Bastion Ortchet" from Feb.? Or are those entered already because I specified them in the adjudication forms?

  4. Does this include the freebuilds we may have missed registering last month? Can i get an account of what I have submitted the forms on so I know what's missing? Or do you automatically discard any duplicate forms?
  5. ooooh! I really like the "raw" bars of metal! Very nice build!
  6. The Crew is on their way.....
  7. Just curious.....What program/app was used to create these....in case I'd like to try my hand at it...?
  8. Very nice! Super build! I would kill for LEGO to produce those palm tree trunk parts again......
  9. Ok, just curious..... What is the time frame on the "adjudication?" As in, when will I know if my other January Properties are earning monies for this month (do i need to file their missing freebuild forms now...or do I wait to be told what I need to do to correct the ledgers?)....or will they not start earning until the next month period? Also.....how far "in the red" can one go with the bank to license properties/boats.....that is....if I obviously have the income coming in...how much can I spend against my earnings to license a larger project? thanks!
  10. I'm always a fan of the occasional simple build or "minifig on a plate." you never know what little detail you will learn...for instance.....nice use of the "whip part" for fishing rod! Plus.....I really wish I had a brown canoe.....
  11. Awesome! Wish I could be there to see it! I'm hoping to show a BoBS presence at Denver ComicCon in June!
  12. Location: E02 - Jurin II Tags: Vehicle, Land Vehicle {MANTIS ReconLOG Entry SR-1138} {Encryption: Medium} {Priority: Low} [begin Log entry] Verdi and I have been given a routine patrol duty assignment on Jurin II.....and, as luck has it, we were assigned a MANTIS LL-6240 HoverRaft. Everything was fine until a great mass of tentacles erupted from the sea.....I thought for sure it was a Kracken Attackin'.....but alas, there was a as well..... OMG....a Kracken Attackin'! by Christopher Briggs, on Flickr The "Beast" was actually the cyborg's pet....it still freaked Verdi out.... Verdi freaks by Christopher Briggs, on Flickr The cyborg ended up being quite agreeable.....his name is " " and apparently he had quite the career in 21st century films.... 13. Very nice! Cool floor tile as well! Approved
  14. Nice rocks and plants! I so want some of those palm tree trunks!!
  15. Thanks for the clarification.... Is this half price referring to the license fee for the properties?
  16. Who is supposed to create the Bastion settlement thread? Or, should I not have built my stuff in the NPC city?
  17. Ok cool.....I guess we'll get it all sorted out when we get the opportunity to correct the stuff we missed in January...
  18. So, I'm wondering if I majorly messed up in my January property builds..... I was assuming I could build "properties" and then "license" them as I earned the funds through other game activities....but I see in the map system thread, the following: "If they build within their own faction’s territory, a fee is paid upfront to their faction for right to use the land." -and- "After the builder has bought the right to own a certain property, they must then complete a MOC showing this property. After posting the MOC as its own thread, the builder will register that MOC in the faction’s designated thread and report it via a webform." So....was I supposed to pay a fee before even beginning my builds? Does that invalidate them? I know I forgot to do the webform on several....just want to make sure I am doing things as I am supposed to.... To whom do I pay the fee to build in Bastion and how much?
  19. Neat-o! That's a tough little turkey, there! So....for an MCRA MOC....I imagine mine would have to be returning to port or escaping capture? Something to that effect, since I survived?
  20. One thing that could help with both the freebuild forms and the ship licenses.....if there cold be a "transaction number" generated when the form is submitted.... Then, when the freebuild post is referenced, it would also list the license number....and that would serve as a verification that the item in question has indeed been licensed. I'm not sure the google survey form has any capacity to do this....but something like this could help clarify what is what.
  21. Very nice! Love the Amsterdam vibe it's got going on.....needs a "shmoke shoppe" on the ground floor!
  22. You are a steely eyed missle man, sir! Excellent boat and presentation...très bein!
  23. About the build.....as these "businesses" seem to be licensed in stages of size....I have opened each with a small 16x16 (ish) build....this one is intended to represent the room in a larger building that will be revealed later as the business moves up through the size-specific license stages.... In the background, actually, is the "glassblower's shop," now with all exterior walls, and entrance and roof.....part of an upcoming "Port of Bastion" build.
  24. I was concerned about being in the right time frame....and I think it is, as the first newspaper came about in 1605. Mine is based loosely on the following image of a press for the "Publick Occurances" newspaper that was shut down by the British in 1690:
