  1. I’m quite excited. Although I have no clue where I’m going to put it. For one, space is crucial at this point & I’m not real sure I’ll find a spot to place it. I did have the thought of making it a “vacation” home for Bruce Wayne, outside of Gotham.
  2. Considering how much money I’m looking at throwing at new LEGO this summer & beyond...that wouldn’t surprise me. I will happily welcome it if that’s the case.
  3. That’s because LEGO has other costs & concerns than just minifigures. Comparing customs to officials is just as pointless as& dumb as comparing MOC’s to official sets.
  4. I have to agree. This is going to be one exciting & expensive summer. On another note, just saw Radcliffe on a morning talk show & he talked about building LEGO(which included a discussion on it being “LEGO” and not LEGOs) during this time & all I want to know is if he has himself.
  5. 2018 for sure. The surprise factor of its return & how great everything looked. Ya know, with the leak of that haunted house & it apparently coming soon, I would okay with DA being released later. It’ll give me time to recoup money to get it day one.
  6. This is fantastic. I love how you captured the details. The spotty make up, the scars, hair. Well done!
  7. Who would’ve thought this is where that ghost belonged... This looks great. The only downside I see is where am I going to put this in my town?! I’m already sweating the placement for the next Modular. I guess my only real criticism, and it’s very, very minor, is that it would’ve been nice to get a different color. I love olive green, but pairing it with 10228, it would look better a different color I feel. I see it’s supposed to be a June release with VIP this month. If so this will be a nice distraction as I wait for HP in August.
  8. Of course, I loved those build. They were so different & massive. Drow...that was it! I look forward to seeing more in the future.
  9. The landscaping is great, it really fits with the set. I love both those bug there leaf parts & those tall 1x plant stalks, so kudos for using a lot of them. The bridge is a great addition as well.
  10. Now this is cool! I love the lava flow cascading down to the floor. The lights out picture reminds me a lot of your old black castle builds. Druid City? I think it was.

    Smurfs

What a fun little build. I like the different mushrooms scattered around, along with the trans flowers. The landscape is nice, the little stream area is a nice touch to break things up a bit. Now this has me wishing we’d see Smurfs. I always loved that show.
  12. This is great. It’s like watching it through story boards. Fantastic builds/scenes.
  13. This is excellent. I love how it’s just a nice little scene up top, then you search a bit more and bam! All those crystals make for a fantastic look & setting.
  14. Not to detract from the actual topic of this thread, but I love what you did with the Ninjago Docks set, what I can see of it anyways. Onto the high rise. I like how you built it haphazardly stacked like that. It’s a great filler for a corner as well.
  15. We’re waiting on the D2C Diagon Alley & an unknown set that is believed to be a medium sized MoM set. No official connection yet.
  16. Yeah, it can be difficult. I try to comment on stuff as much as I can, especially those with little no comments but a lot of views. But I want it to be meaningful & not just a “nice build” kinda thing. Sometimes though I just can’t get something together, despite appreciating the build.
  17. Yeah, I have a decent way to travel for my closest LEGO store as well(which I prefer to do my shopping at). Good call on getting the set. It’s not as exciting as the towers, but is a great addition. Your Hogwarts sounds great, what a hodge podge of goodness it sounds like. Edit: your latest comment sounds amazing! What a great sounding layout you have.
  18. Very cool, quite nice of you. Really nice designs. I especially like the front facade of the second building.
  19. I’d like to see. As a set collector/sorter, I live vicariously through others’ MOCs. Seeing people’s interpretations of Hogwarts is always fun. Personally, I’d say the WW set is worth it(although seeing as you have to deal with AUS prices...). For one, you get the tree. And even if you don’t use the Castle section as is, there’s a decent chunk of bricks that could be used elsewhere. I think the build is nice & good addition to the otherwise large towers & rooms of the rest of the sets.
  20. Love that! That’s the kind of thing every city should adopt. Close down a street & play SW all day!
  21. Very nice. I like the facades & the angles give it a sharp look. Cool bike build as well, it really fits that Power Ranger like aesthetic.
  22. I like the left side better. It feels more in line with the sets. The details overall, on both sides, are fantastic. I love the lines hanging between the two sections. That feels like Ninjago. The little garden area is nice as well. But the stand out to me is that great bridge & tree. I like how instead of one bridge spanning the two sides, but has a sort of meeting spot. Feels like a meditation space.
  23. That’s a good idea. It could definitely work, and be the cheaper alternative I think. The torso from the Grawp set would be more movie accurate. In the scene, the shirt is darker & not zipped up.
  24. Well, went in to Walmart tonight with the mindset of getting the last four series 20 I want. Went at 8, half an hour before they closed, in the hopes of less people. Two strikes...more people than I expected & didn’t give myself enough time to search properly. I may have missed out on Pyjama Girl, but did get 80’s Musician.
  25. Same. Personally, I hope to get the whole wave. Definite buys are the Monkey Mech & Cloud Jet. I highly doubt it. They’ve said no more regional exclusives. Don’t think there’s anything to worry about there.
