I imagine we won’t see pre orders until next month. Those who are able to pre order are getting the sets in June, while we have ya wait until August.

I used to...but then the pile just became too much. So everything goes now. It’s crazy to see just how many parts there really is to the Castle. I’m one of those who keep everything together as a set, so mixing & matching is a foreign concept. But I feel with the AT I’m going to try something different.

Got the final installment of the current Ninjago sets, 71712 Empire Temple of Madness. I still kinda want the Arcade Pods for the exclusive minifigs, but another set of Digi ninjas...I don’t need. Still no restock of the CMS 20... Now to figure out how to make the build last until August....

Without obviously knowing your financial situation, I would suggest going after the AT & Burrow first. The other two will be quite a bit faster to save for, even if you don’t have a lot of spare cash each week. Then you have a month before DA is released.

D’oh. Yes, the fire truck. Not a fan of ghoulish baddie? I love the classic look of this thing. It wouldn’t take much to make it normal looking it seems.

I look forward to seeing your regular fire truck, which I imagine will be easier than the bus. I just need to remove the techy bits outside & add some bars, spikes, & nets. Maybe even a spiked push bar on the front if I can get it attached.

Ditto. I have a hard enough time keeping up with what I want to buy, so buying more to modify my Hogwarts is a no go. I’ll just live vicariously through these great mods others are doing. Can someone remind me of the release for the D2C? I don’t want to rummage through this thread & searching hasn’t come up with the answer. I’m pretty sure it was also August? But I’m also thinking September, along with the Calendar. Just trying to fine tune this wave, money wise.

I can’t believe I’m excited for a LEGO fore truck . I’m going to take that & de-Hidden Side it like I did with the Bus & make it fit with Apocalypseburg. I like the prison too, it’s a bit barebones...but what’s there is nice. What we can see of the castle looks great. The hot rod is way cool also, but looks like it won’t fit too well with City.

Very cool. I like the rusted out police car. The tree is a great build too, it seems to have a natural sway to it. The overall scene is great. It really captures the wasteland that is zombie themed stuff.

I don’t think either side of the RoR will look too good as an outside wall, but I do like the smaller sections as dividers. What about using one of the rooms from WW instead? Looking at Hermione with the Time Turner, I think the head in the RoR is new. Her smile has a different line in the RoR than it does from the Hut. Not 100% sure though.

I know I saw it somewhere....it’s either in the HP 2020 thread or the series 20 thread. I’ll see if I can track it down, or if someone else comes along to point you in a more specific route. It does look pretty good.

I saw someone who said they used gloves. I wish I would’ve thought about that when I made my run, I wouldn’t have gotten so many doubles.

So where would you put the Clocktower & the bit of the WW section? That looks really good though.

We also got the other sets on July 1st here. Both years at the LEGO stores.

Right?! No matter how or where they use that piece, it will always be poop since it was introduced as poop. Where are you getting they think those are common rooms? Both descriptions say dormitories.

Wow! Wow! Wow! The wait is finally over & it was worth it! These are fantastic. I absolutely love the AT, seeing it with the rest if the Castle... I’m still eating up all the details. The Dursley’s looks great. Bummed Lave dear doesn’t have a skirt though...what a missed opportunity. Grawp looks great, they handled him beautifully. Now I really hope the stores start opening by the time these are released. It’s going to be awful having to wait up to two weeks for these. The usual one week is bad enough.

This is great. I love the build of the scene. I especially like the clever use of the gears! That’s a fantastic look.

Right? Something as simple as a minifig....or 16 just make the day better. Targets around here are picked clean though...went today & nothing, where last week they had plenty. I checked online for stores nearby & they aren’t even showing up. Might have to try an early morning run to Walmart to get the last few.

Yeah...that’s what I figured. Shoot. I hate waiting for shipments of LEGO sets... I definitely wouldn’t miss out on day one purchases though, always get there early. But the two counties of the stores I frequent just expanded their stay orders throughout May...hopefully that changes.

I’d say Privet Drive. I wasn’t buying back when the old one was available, and this is the first time we’re seeing Dudley & Petunia. They’re such a big part of Harry’s life, and Petunia is his only physical family connection to his mother, I’m surprised she hasn’t been done before. Then Dudley, how he hasn’t been made is strange as well. Plus, it’s another location, which is always welcomed. As for this pre order business, I’ve never done it but can you pre order for a specific store(assuming they’ll be open by then), or is it just they’ll be shipped to you when they release?

There isn’t that female on top of the Bull Mech...so it’s not entirely bull guys. Just mostly. While not the same context, the Speed Champions set 75893 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon and 1970 Dodge Charger R/T. Definitely. The boat would be great for that kind of area. The only water section I have is the Ninjago City/Docks part. I still hope to grab that though. It may work with Welcome to Apocalypseburg! as a stranded boat turned dwelling. I love the mech because I’m a huge fan of the Ninjago Movie ones, still have them on display & the Titan Mech, which I think could pair well with the Monkey one. And I love the Cloud Jet because it feels very anime to me.

Well, I’m pretty impressed! I love the Monkey Mech & Cloud Jet. That little building section & island will go good with Ninjago. Alternatively, I think the building will look decent next to the Shrimp Shack from HS. Those two are definite buys for me. The others are on my hope to buy list. I love the new prints & that new hat/hair piece is fun. And a new color cat!

I love it. If you’re a big fan of HP, I’d say it’s worth it. It has some great build ideas in there. A lot of smaller stuff to help fill a scene. They have restraints for sets. Of course we’re going to get a smaller than it is Hall & Tower. They have a price point to work with. A not complete tower would draw more ire than a smaller than it really is one, I think. I do agree on the missing of the three small tower attachments though. I don’t see how yin could interpret them not being confident in the theme? In the first year they released a CMS & a $400 D2C. Plus, it’s HP...it’s a guaranteed sell. Being in the minority, I highly recommend the Ninjago Movie. It’s hilarious & has a good, fun story.
