    Definitely buy them for the minifigs, but at least the books aren’t awful. I know I could always just buy them online, but as I get mine from B&N I usually wait for a coupon & end up getting 30% off. Not going to wait on this one though, I want it too much to wait. Just hoping a coupon comes by Tuesday morning.

    I’ve got two Lifeline 6 ft tables. And a small built wooden addition expansion for Ninjago City/Docks.

    I’m sure this has been discussed a few times, but I’m surprised we haven’t seen a duck suit minifig yet. I have a non LEGO friend who absolutely loves ducks & she would probably go wild for one. I was sitting here looking at my llama & the thought dawned on me.

    While I don’t go back repeatedly to the books I buy(which is at about 5 or 6 from a few different themes) I always do enjoy looking through them & reading them. I think they’re worth it as well.

    True, that was years into the theme. I was thinking more first year runs. Ninjago had two variations of skeletons(three if you include the slightly different head mold of Samukai). Of the minion ones, they had four named characters, each with a couple variants. The Snake waves were the best as far as enemies go. But yeah, having the exact same bull seven times over is a bit lackluster, but I’m hopeful we’ll see more henchmen variation to come in future waves.

    Definitely. But in this case, I’d say something is better than nothing. I’m still hoping to get the latest bunny parts that were around earlier. Even though I don’t particularly care for the flower kid, I’d take her if it meant getting the parts I want. Or that exclusive dog print & torso with the dog with a space helmet print, yes please. I was wondering why they couldn’t just do that like they are the PaB Wall(at least here in the States) where the employees fill a cup with what you want from the menu board. Maybe with that & having to grab the boxes off the shelf, it would be a lot to handle, which is understandable.

    Oh yeah, I’m definitely going to be buying the minute they become available. I’ve been lucky to have the cash to do that so far each year. Same with the Modulars, it’s now a New Years tradition to drive to the store for it. And getting all the HP sets will help, I save all the VIP points I get throughout the year & use them on the Modular.

    Haha, right? This is why I’m so annoyed with the two month delay for these sets. There’s plenty of sets I look forward to, but none quite like this(the Modulars are neck & neck) theme. At least I have the Student Pack & soon to be released book to ride me over...

    A glimmer of hope...I found a mostly full case on the end cap at Target tonight. I haven’t seen them since mid April. And I found the last three I wanted, plus a couple for a friend. It almost makes me less upset about the HP delay. Almost.

    These are fantastic! They kinda remind of an old cartoon/toy, Exo squad Jump Troops. The desert one is my favorite. I like it’s look best.

    Great looking facade. I love the windows & the use of Brickheadz glasses for that detailing on the door. Color choices are great as well. It’s different seeing a minifig scale build from you. Looks like quite the interesting experiments are happening inside.

    I’m excited to see these sets. I hope the Speedboat is good & not stupidly overpriced as I want both Sandy & Mo, but the boat they currently come in may be out of my reach.

    This is my feelings exactly. I really love all 3, especially that small Vader. But with so much else on the horizon & current stuff to get, I doubt any of these will make it on my shelf. It is very tempting though...

    These are great, they look fantastic & being able to combine more than one is awesome. But there’s no way I’m buying these for that price, especially when there’s so much else to get. Like if I wanted to display all the SW options, that’s roughly $800. I love what they’re doing here though.

    Confirmation we’re getting it for at least 3 more years then... Yeah man, it really sucks. Two months later than the previous two years. If I hadn’t planned on buying them all at once I may have ordered them as well, but that’ll be a nice chunk of VIP points. Why couldn’t they delay Sesame Street instead.

    Well, a little bit of an update for us folks in the US. Was just checking B&N for other LEGO stuff & on the front page for LEGO it has a header for pre-ordering Hedwig, which is exclusive....with a release date of Sept. 1st.

    You can’t hold that against this theme though, that’s a pretty normal template. Bad guys have henchmen that are identical. Ninjago(Movie as well) did this, LEGO Movie did this, Marvel has done it & is doing it. A lot of other action themes too. The pricing on some is definitely weird. It’d be nice the hear a reason. I complete agree with your final sentiment...MK is a fantastic minifig & right up there with Wave 2 Jack. I actually have them on my build table together. That’s awesome. Once I get the Warrior King Mech, I guess I’ll have to have him claim the Cloud as his own... Reading about all those clips for accessories makes me sad...so far the only set I have is the Cloud Jet(great set), and there’s no place for his staff to go when he’s piloting the ship.

    They are nicely done, you did a nice job designing them. I don’t see LEGO losing that license anytime soon, so I’m afraid these being put on Ideas isn’t likely to happen.

    While I’m in the States, I just happened upon a box. I just went in with the intention to buy some. When I walked up to the counter, where they were, I saw a sealed case under the counter on the opposite side. As for the new series, I asked ahead at Barnes & Noble. Once the release date gets closer, I’m gonna see about setting one aside if possible, otherwise I’ll just be there at opening on day one.
