  1. I have both, to be honest 42000 it's a bigger, more pieces, panels. and lovely tyres! But for some reasons I enjoyed more the building process of 42029! The good point of the F1 are the suspensions: looking amazing and realistic, and plus you can use those arms for mocs! In the other hand the Pick Up has loads of red pieces too! I would buy both (as I did)  but as final suggestions I would say 42000.
  2. I know you are sharing it with all of us, but it's fair to say (as I've already said) that I really don't like (actually I don't see the point) of reverse engineer an offcial model before it comes on the shelf! So I'll keep the pleasure for when that day will come...
  3. if you live in greenland it means "never" Thanks Jim bytheway!! Can't wait for 42038!!
  4. guys, do you know when these sets will be on the shelf? more or less...
  5. Simply the best!! keep it up.....in love with your design!
  6. Ok, nice words. So if you allow me as final suggestion I would say: regardless how big, or complex, or how many pieces a moc has, it's always a pleasure and something to be proud of! So your time it's not wasted at all and my suggestions is: share the LDD file, someone probably will be kind and make instructions from it for all those people who may struggle at re-creating your model only by looking at photos... In my opinion it's a great compromise!
  7. Ok then we need to have a nice chat about how to increase my instructions quality  Of course no hard feelings.....actually it's good we went trough it cos I can improve mines! Please allow me to ask you few things when I'll be in need of oK?! Thanks, Andrea
  8. It has them, but as the 2 L motors for driving are not placed on the upper structure it means it can't be rotated freely +360 degrees then! Unless the dedicated battery box and the IR are placed in the lower structure...but looks like not!
  9. Somehow I agree with you, I mean we all know how much work there is behind...and I can see your instructions are absolutely clear and ultra professional! I do love them, believe me! Probably the reason why I mentioned those 1000 pieces it's because there are instructions for mocs of 3000 pieces...and you know it takes longer, both designing it and making instructions! But hey, I reniew my compliments for these creations that I truly love!! Actually I'm waiting for a lowboy aswell!!
  10. Ok, in my all honesty...looks like an advertise abut your entry during the voting period About the instructions my opinion is: no need of them, simply cos it's nothing complex, by looking at the pics it's easy to rebuild it. And eventually you are thinking about instructions remember that it's the other way round....first you do them, second you put them on sale. Instead here you are asking people if they want them....and then eventually you would do them! But hey, it's just my opinion!
  11. Superb as uusual! If I can only add a little critique it would be on the price of the instructions....overpriced for a trailer of 1000 pieces But about the trailer itself.....clean, well designed!!
  12. Efferman I do love all i've seen although I'm not fan of "non lego parts"! Can I give you a little advice? Move the "shock absorber" 1 or 2 studds outer.... But cool truck and crane! hope to see it finished soon!!!
  13. but you never know...maybe this year they are on holiday till christmas
  14. The polar vehicle looks cool!! And someone we all need more orange bricks  jim do you know if other sets are coming in the second semester?
  15. I have a feeeling looking at the car: it looks "squashed" ! like if a massive rock fell on it. And as cardesigner i can see the reason why....those flat wheelarches give that impression!
  16. Unfortunately none of them fit my tastes, probably the only one I'll buy it's the 42038 The Lemans car it's not a lemans car...it's simply messy..... Anyone knows if there are other sets coming in the second semester of the year?
  17. I told you, a friend of mine has it and it does priny Nylon! :) If I was you I would seriuosly consider it.....it would be worth!
  18. Efferman, I really appreciate all your works and this "projects" of 3D printed parts, but I have a question: nowadays you can buy a good 3D printer for 1.500£, ( a friend of mine has one and does the job), so why do you use shapeways? I mean...isn't more convenient for you to buy a 3D printer and do your own business?? A linear actuator like that would be 4 times cheaper....and you know it... :sweet:
  19. This probably deserve it's own Frontpage!!! Absolutely breathtaking! I do work for LandRover, I do love LandRovers, I do love the Discovery, but this one it's simple on top of everything!!! Do you have a video??
  20. I really like the "hot rod" feeling....and those wheels simply looks amazing on it! Are you planning to add some motors? That would be nice
  21. I've already said that I respect and appreciate his own creations, and his building skills of course! Anyway about the LEGO TECHNIC in general...that's such a shame cos if you ask me technic should be the only one called "LEGO" Anyway.....in conclusion....everybody has an opinion we don't always agree on, but we should respect! So probably we can end the topic here?
  22. Infact mine was only an opinion: for me it is pointless! The question "why that guy is doing it" it's rethorical..... And please also stop saying I have opened this tread on reverse engineering.......because I have not!
  23. First of all, I do love reverse engineering, but not on models that still has to come on the shelf! Second of all, to prove out you are a great builder you don't necessary need to reverse those "not yet on the market sets", you can google tons of pics and reverse them! Third of all some of you are propably too youngh to remember that back in the days there use to be only paper catalogues, no internet....and that was magic.....to go to the shops and find them on the shelfs.....we were all excited, we almost couldn't believe it, and was such a joy to open the box and start to build it....step by step..like becoming one thing you and the set! It's not about the skills of that guy who made the reverses, it's not about the sets itself,,.,.,,,I'm talking about the MAGIC at "undressing" a set as you would do with a woman...... And as final, you guys should consider also other opinions.....not just one!
