  1. I'm ok with replicas and the challange involved. But a replica of something not yet on the market just keeps all the fun, exhitement and waiting out! aol000xw as you were speaking to me, it was obviuos you consider me a "sheep"! I'm fine with that, as far as you are too as i said I've never build a MOC...
  2. Again, you keep skipping the point try to move into something that makes you feel comfortable with! And oh sorry....never build anything in my life....so only I can do it's to follow instructions as a sheep!!!! Now please tell me, my arguments have no merit, to build a replica before an official release yes! lol You funny...
  3. I'm absolutelly chilled, if you want we can say "what's the point of doing that replicas" wheter is him or someone else...... Plus to end a discussion about being useful or not means to skip an answer. Probably there are no answer for such replicas... yes I apologize...anyway I respect his own creations a lot!! Not his replicas...
  4. ...and it's remarkable how "non sense" it is aswell....to buy a new lego set it's like having sex with someone already naked the first time you see her......no pleasure at unveiling....as no pleasure at undressing! Honestly......tell me what's the point of this guy now........that he can do quick and before than everybody?? Bha.....silly
  5. You can see in the video...the problem it's the design itself! The angles of steer are absolutely wrong in all axles! you can see the "non steering" wheels tug! Looks like the all crane hasn't a "rotation point" in it's body....normally all the crane have one! http://www.tdkv.com/sites/default/files/CAD-crane-drawings.png
  6. But that's how you burn them out! :cry_sad: I mean.....it's true that wheels are not connected so apparently we would think each motor works on is own, but at the same time the have no different RPM so the result it's a locked axle! Anyway....impressive job, I do like the interiors details a lot! we want more and more pics!! Are you planning any instructions for it?
FOrza Lucio!! Come configurazione XL motor come sei messo?
  9. Simply epic!! My only concern is about the missed differential between the tho XL motors! But again.....love it!!! Any issues with all those LEDS?
  10. In fact I asked if he had some ref for real model. You (he) simply picked a quite unconventional one. Plus looking at the link Erik still needs to get the proportions as his wheels are a 2/5 of the height, where on the one you linked it's nearly 3/5 if not more! And after all, I understand it's nice to participate with an entry, but we all push for the best model we can, if you want to impress then the 2 axle crane has more chances IMHO! P.S. Efferman do you know the need of the second seat?
  11. it really deserve it's own chassis! And the yellow one it's absolutely stunning! I may buy instructions for it and do my own chassis if you don't mind! EPIC
  12. Hello! as I've done many cranes I have few suggestions if you like: 1) increase the size of the wheels, and make the crane with only 2 wheel axle, this will give you better proportions, and more realism as your crane looks "flat" at the moment. 2) no need of a second seat, and it doesn't look real. 3)wider boom, as now looks like a stick, or fragile, and not proportionated with the rest of the vehicle. 4)at the end of the boom (extendable section) there is a sort of brown thing made with curved tiles, is that necessary? cranes normally has a 30 degrees inclined section, thinner aswell. 5)not sure if you did this exercise, but it's always good to make a research on what vehicle we would like to "convert" in LEGO and study it, from all views, etc etc. Looks like you have no references! Overall it has it's shape, and I quite like it! But I'm sure you can improve a lot and have a very good entry! Here a ref: http://static.mascus.com/image/product/large/717963ba/grove-rt700,64e341a0.jpg
  13. I'll try to explain you: you mentioned sets, parts, motors and more! this topic it's about different prices for the same part at the official lego website. Now, a spare part, whether it comes from, sold by one company called TLG and with 2 different prices sounds like unfair, and unhealty for they own business! when you buy at customer service you are still buying spare parts...not the all set!! So how did you come to sets? Enjoy life man...we all do!
  14. Wait a second: where they get the parts from it's their problem....as customer we pretend prices to be the same! how simply and fair!
  15. probably, but you know what? I may go for a double order from customer service..... Anyway BL and BO still much cheaper...... the only good thing about S@H are the VIP points.....
  16. LOL at first I saw the bucket and was disappointed...then I had a look at the guy and well....I'm happy!!!   But hey for some strange reasons (lots of beers) my belly it's growing....by the time I get the 42030 it's bucket will look zoo small.... :cry_sad: :cry_sad:
  17. Navigation bar it's a very good idea! as mr8 said it should be shorter!!! half of it probably..even less!! I love the 8X8X8 as hell! P.S. ZBLJ I'm still wondering why you have this orange cat/animal in your avatar and videos.....
  18. Jantjeuh, do you think it's possible that some of the sellers on BrickLink have simply moved to BrickOwl and kept the same prices? It's good to have more than a choice bytheway!!
  19. Already replayed, plus in this topic I've already posted a different version, including a a solution for not stalling the motor, using a clutch! Hope this is useful for other people, cos I found it usefull myself in one of my moc. :sweet:
  20. Thanks also to you Tinker, now the only doubt it's about the different prices between Pick a Brick and Customer service....I did open another topic! feel free to comment if you have answer! that would help me a lot! Thanks!!
  21. Ok, a simple and quick question after I was surfing the Lego website. Spare parts is the topic: 2 different sections, one is the Pick a Brick, the other one is Customer service! Some of the parts present in "Pick a brick" are not present in "customer service" and vice versa! But the funny this is: turntable at Pick a brick is priced as 1.63£, at Customer service it's priced 2.29£!!! Is TLG joking or what???
  22. Yes but what a shame that "Pick a brick" and "customer service" aren't the same!! I mean I can't find the bucket and the Unimog wheel in pick a brick, but you can buy them as customer service!! :hmpf_bad: :hmpf_bad:
  23. That's obviously a good point, but maybe some people only need to switch a switcher, and go back to the center position! A clutch would help a lot Like I needed recently for one of my latest moc and it works perfectly!
  24. You are right ZBLY, anyway there must be a video on Youtube of a different attempt! let me find it guys... Actually it works, but would be better to reduce the input gear ration!
