  1. Functional bricks might be things like electric parts or other parts that are difficult to make or produced in limited quantities.
  2. A winter village police station would be nice to see, go with the fire station.
  3. Assuming they follow what the reports say they are going to do and don't change things up, its likely the farm animals will land sometime in September or October (the official launch of the farm animals was June)
  4. What about if it turns out to be a UCS version of that triangle ship from Eternals...
  5. Are we even sure this big set is a Marvel set and not something from DC?
  6. https://www.brickfanatics.com/lego-bricks-pieces-get-even-better/ has some info about what's happening although what I saw on another forum (and am not sure I can re-post here) was slightly different to that. What I saw on the other forum indicated that (as of the last official messaging from LEGO) is that more staff have been hired for PaB to help with orders and that new parts from the January-May sets will start showing up at the end of August (i.e. in the next week or so) with the intent for parts to follow 4 months after set release (some parts potentially comming sooner than that like basic bricks and other parts comming never like IP/licensed parts) So new parts ARE going to show up on PaB and parts from the lighthouse should in theory show up in early 2023 based on available information.
  7. As someone who collects all the MCU buildable things (Iron Man helmet, Infinity Gauntlet, Thor's Hammer and hopefully the Nano Gauntlet if I can score one on sale) I hope its not more buildable things.
  8. Dreamworld also has a PaB wall that looks like that, its great.
  9. This is a picture of the Build-a-Minifig station from one of the more recent LEGO store openings here in Australia at Karrinyup: The Dreamworld LEGO store (my local) got a remodel recently and has the same style Build-a-Minifig station as do possibly other recent store openings in Australia (and from what I can tell on Google, at least one store in New York has this stand as well)
  10. Its not an exclusive here in Australia although it is a limited release in terms of which retailers stock it.
  11. This set is my current top pick for the best set of 2022...
  12. According to a report elsewhere, parts from January to May (so 1st half year sets) will be launching on PaB starting soon. Supposedly the news came from the LAN but I don't have the full details... (maybe someone here has the details to share...)
  13. We have the new style BaM station in my local store here in Australia (which recently got a total makeover)
  14. If we get Coast Guard it would be second-half-year anyway and we wouldn't be hearing about it yet.
  15. I suspect if you looked hard enough you could find some kind of argument as to why LEGO should stop working with just about any IP owner they are currently working with including Disney.
  16. I heard a report that the new bikes will be showing up in the Australian LEGO stores around the end of August.
  17. The roller coaster track would be perfect for a new Space monorail type thing. They used it to great effect in the 2019 Friends resort set for example.
  18. If they did more Space, I want to see something Blacktron, they were essentially the "bad guys" back then.
  19. Looks like the Fantastic Four are joining the MCU in 2024. If this means we finally get the 4 characters in LEGO, shut up and take my money please LEGO...
  20. I think it should have been light bley (to match the light grey airtanks in the original set) Black was likely chosen since it was already in production for the creator 3-in-1 submarine.
  21. The 3 x 6 x 2 windscreen came out in 2021 actually.
  22. My dream theme would be "Outback Explorers" set in the Australian bush. Vehicles would include a Ute (which is what us Aussies call a Pickup Truck) and a 4x4 (Land Cruiser type vehicle). Maybe also a helicopter or light plane. Buildings/scenery could include the entrance to an outback mine (maybe an Opal mine or something) and a typical water pump style windmill (as seen on sheep and cattle stations across Australia). Also some brick-built gum trees and other bush plants. Minifigs could be wearing dark tan (i.e. Khaki) polo shirts and pants and fedora hats (to represent the classic Aussie bushman hat). Also lets find a way to put a reddish brown boomerang in there somewhere (after all, the Aborigines did supposedly invent the thing). My top wishes for new animals would be Kangaroos, Koalas, Emus, Platypus and Lizards. Recolored/reused animals could be Crocodiles, Snakes, Spiders and Frogs and maybe some of the bird molds they have could work for things like Cockatoos or Kookaburras.
  23. My top 3 wishes: Black Lamborghini Countach from Canonball Run with the "2 great looking chicks inside" Bluesmobile from Blues Brothers with Jake and Elwood Blues KITT from Knight Rider with Micheal Night Honorable mention to the Chevrolet NASCAR from Days of Thunder with Cole Trickle even though it will never happen... That would probably be the only thing on the planet that would get me to actually buy anything that said "Ford" on it...
  24. The fact that everyone is clamoring for 2022 parts and that if they appeared everyone would immediately jump on and order up big is exactly the problem, they don't have the warehouse ability to handle the orders.
  25. Better pictures of the Advent Calendar are up on Brickset. Other than the foal, I can't see anything that looks to be new/exclusive although I could be wrong.
