Marvel Superheroes 2022 - Rumors & Discussion
jonwil replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
I suspect an x-mansion would appeal more to marvel fans than a bunch of sets from one of the least popular MCU films to date (eternals) or an oversized hulkbuster no-one seems to want. -

X-mansion at a similar style/size to those sets would be great if it came with a decent selection of figs (including, say, professor X with wheelchair, beast, cyclops and gambit with playing cards) -

I hope we see more sets similar to the iron man helmet, hammer and gauntlets. I own the helmet, hammer and gold gauntlet with the smaller red one on my wishlist. -
I want to see more trains, specifically a passenger train with a flat front like you see on many subway systems (London, Paris, NYC, Chicago, DC, LA and others). Doesn't have to replicate any real world train, just copy that general style.

It may not be perfect but I still want the blacktron set for my collection. -
As a long time fallout player and fan I can tell you it's not a good "brand fit" for Lego.

I wonder how much of what we get (or don't get) in DC superheroes is driven by Warner/DC? It's entirely possible that DC have decided that they don't want Lego making too many DC products right now in the same way that marvel doesn't want too many Lego sets outside the MCU.

The horizon set seems to have been popular, I wonder what other video games along those lines would work as Lego sets...

The tv series Batmobile flew off the shelves from what I saw, as did the small tumbler so there is clearly demand for DC universe (or at least Batman) product that isn't based in the latest cinematic outing. I don't get why Lego won't do more to cash in on that clear demand.

From what I saw they sold well (Batmobile more so than the batwing bit it is the more iconic vehicle and the first thing many people think of when they think of the Batmobile)

Quite a few popular cartoons that fit the genre of teenagers/young adults trying to be the best in some contest. Look at Beyblade or Pokemon or Yu-Gi-Oh or Bakugan for example.

I think a 1989 Batman movie Batcave at a similar price point to the daily bugle set would sell like crazy (especially if it had the right selection of figs...)

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
jonwil replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
I would love to see a building with an optometrist in it (probably on an upper floor). You could have a double sided head where the faces are the same except that one side is wearing glasses. (Showing the before and after of the eye doctor visit). We got a dentist and a vet so an optometrist isn't out of the question... -

Have we had any buildings that use either dark green or dark blue as main colours? -

I want a building (modular or otherwise) in either brutalist or googie/raygun gothic. -

I agree that dark blue would have looked good (although there is nothing wrong with dark red) -
Given the clear demand for goats and the apparent success of things like BrickArms, BrickForge and other companies doing high quality accessories that complement (rather than rip off) Lego, I am surprised we haven't seen someone like that design and manufacture (perhaps via crowd funding to help offset the high mild costs) a new goat that fits alongside all the current Lego animals but does t directly rip off the Lego design. I would probably buy some if I could (for the same reasons I own BrickForge and BrickArms parts) but I refuse to buy from Chinese companies directly ripping off LEGO's IP.

Its very cool that they were able to take the double bass part originally intended Vidiyo and use it in this set. -
Previous sets based on animated movies that aren't owned by Disney don't appear to have done so well (e.g. Trolls or Minions) so I don't see a Shrek theme working.

Its been a while since I last saw the movie but I don't think that particular boat is one that Maui rode on so not having Maui in that set doesn't seem like its a problem.
