It's a honkin' big ship. Difficult to photograph. I've been sitting on it for weeks, actually. It's time!

Very cool. I'd love to see a Far Future Historica, actually. Space Mitgardians!

Very cool figs and cars.

This is cool. I recently built a minifig scale ship called The Kingfisher as a sketch of what a faction build could be like for any Scifi Forum Guilds of Historica style project. My colors were orange and blue and I used a lot of the same stuff you did here. My ship and crew are salvagers and it fits nicely with your repair crew. I'll post it in the near future and show you simply because the builds definitely feel like they could be part of the same theme!

That's just great. Must have taken forever to get those mosacis right. :P

That's incredible. Can't wait to see the whole thing.

Thanks, SK! My first time doing house facades! Actually, Lands of Roawia is a lot like Guilds of Historica. The figs look kinda Victorian due to their fashion sense, but I thought it worked nicely for a late medieval high fashion kind of thing. Lego can be a bit limited, after all. I'll be continuing to build stuff with at least Jackdaw Quinn, who is my sigfig on LoR. Keep an eye on this forum, my flickr, or Merlin's Beard forum for more as I build. Right now there's a multipart challenge going on where the Queen's Dandies will feature in my submissions. The torso for the central character is from Captain Barbosa from one of the PotC sets. If I remember correctly.

Mount Up! Lesser Guylinea Dragon
mccoyed replied to Thomas of Tortuga's topic in Guilds of Historica
Sorry bud. I'm not familiar with the Gila monster and I thought the appendages on the front looked like antennae! -
Please link them to me on Flickr! I'd love to see other Lego DT builds. Also, I'm not a good judge of my own photography at all so if you wanna drop a comment on Flickr and point out what pics you think are better I'd appreciate that too! Lastly... absolutely read the book. On a general note... I definitely failed to complete the next build by the end of the weekend (Sunday) but I will get it done by the end of this week. Hopefully. Haha. I got my Storm minifig so I'm ready for The Drawing of the Three!

It's very good, actually, and reminds me of Toothless from How to Train Your Dragon. For your pictures, I'd actually say the first one is not bad though the lighting isn't amazing and you should try to use a larger, curving white board for background. It's hard to find one big enough though. For lighting, someone told me to use "daylight" bulbs and I'm so glad I listened. Coupled with whatever natural light I can get in my apartment, which isn't much, those daylight bulbs have proven invaluable for pics.

Awesome. Is it a giant bug? It kind of looks like one. -

Great work here. One of my favorite entries into Mount Up easily.

Beautiful and clean. Love your style on these.

Amazing build. So much to like here. We don't see a lot of Lego Offical style builds with different elements unconnected by a base, but you present a good argument for the method here. Masterclass minifig posing, too. Very dynamic especially the guy on the ground blocking the spear. That's the kind of action pose you'd see a human do in a movie, and you've captured it well here.

I'm not only referring to his color choices, but also his Greek naming conventions for place and people names. :P -
