  1. Plus it is really boring if all vehicles use exactly the same engine parts as has been the case for more than ten years.
  2. Here´s the latest video focused on 42099. Note the underside with 2 turntables.
  3. Thank god MK was there to insist on looking at the new parts!
  4. I still think this will be a 1HY 2020 set similar to the 42069 Extreme Adventure in part count and size. No PF as per all recent 1HY flagships.
  5. Promobricks were the fellows who said Saturn V was retiring 2 years ago, so they are not 100% reliable. Perhaps this set will come out but in 2020. It would make more sense as a 2020 1HY release.
  6. It´s likely that Amazon are using volumetric weight based on box dimensions as that is how they work out shipping costs.
  7. Well they sure haven´t cut out costs on any of the smartphone app sets launched so far.... For me it´s as cheap as car manufacturers who don´t include a spare tyre.
  8. The GT car could go two ways; it could either be a PF sets with some useless functions like the usual engine cover going up or it could be a non PF set incorporating more system parts than previous 42039 or 42077 to provide better styling at the same scale. As to the actual model, it won´t be licenced but we could be looking at something simlar to a Bentley GT3 or even an IMSA DPI prototype. It´s a bit weird to have yet another car when we just got the rally car and the Bugatti, though. I guess there is just not much demand for planes, helicopters or boats at that price points.
  9. So, will these sets introduce PF2.0 to the Technic range?
  10. I bought it discounted from Amazon as a parts pack. The idea is to make a back hoe loader with this, 42053 Volvo and a few parts from 42055.
  11. The source is a person on Instagram who was doing stock checking at some US stores and came up with a lot of 2019 set IDs. I´d say it´s 99% legit and likely theses will be the first technic sets to use the new PF standard.
  12. No problem. Most people will buy it as a parts pack anyway!
  13. Thanks for the review. The question of price is not really a question as; of the 3600 parts, pins and other small, low production cost and high-volume parts make up about half. Sure there are panels, flex axles, new rims and a few printed parts but the pricing is based on premium packaging more than what you actually get to build. Then we also need to consider all the stickers. Just compare with what you get when you buy BWE, Arocs or Rough Terrain Crane. And 370 euros is the CHEAPEST RRP - in some countries, Lego want 420 euros. That´s just crazy. No wonder it hasn´t sold out in Europe, despite being an exclusive. We can excuse some shortcomings but a premium price means people expect a premium product and that´s not really what we are getting - packaging, media launch and manuals aside.
  14. The actors are gonna have sore faces from holding those smiles so long.
  15. Not sure it will. BWE has not been a great sellet and the Air Jet neither - so much so it is retiring early. Seems the sets that are not traditional equipment are not so popular and this one will likely be in the same category.
  16. Compared to the Volvo, this is a masterpiece - even if Picasso may have been involved somewhere.
  17. Nice to see it is 4x4 as well as 4WS. Lego seem to be making all wheel drive standard issue nowadays with the exception of the rally car.
  18. I dunno, this set just looks like someone raided the parts bin and put a load of random things together to call it a set.
  19. Value for money and RRP are also points to consider for those of us who have to pay for our Lego sets.....
