  1. I assume the fifth one is in the cockpit under the gear selector. Still can´t work out how the up and down gear system works but you get 2 different sizes of rubber band in duplicate, so it will probably be similar to the 911´s paddles but more subtle. One more thing to note is only 2 engine block end pieces so the engine will be more compact than many had feared. On the downside, almost 30 stickers and 1600 pins of one sort or another and five totally new moulds (blue cog, orange selector, exclusive rim, disc brake and rear diffusor) in inventory.
  2. No, new style since they introduced them 3 years ago! Also seems the rear light panels are new moulded parts.
  3. Seems so. You get 11 red ones and 5 new style driving rings plus 3 blue ones.
  4. Same tyres as on the 911. Yes, the pin hole is not crossed but for standar friction or frictionless pins. That´s what I meant. The disc is part of the grey snap on part of the hub.
  5. If you watch Jangbrick´s Lego video reviews, you´ll know he had previous with TLG regarding a review he posted of a Star Wars set he bought before release date and the video was taken down. He now posts a disclaimer before any such video claiming his right as a consumer to express his opinion about an item he bought legally under "fair use" US case law. The problem is that any affiliate of TLG doing that (or enabling it on their social media and forums) is biting the hand that feeds them, which is not very smart. It´s more political (and good manners) than legal. In the end Lego want to sell as many sets as they can not going around suing customers and it´s up to them to ensure the shelf date is respected by THEIR employees and customers - not the final end user, who cannot be blamed for buying or reviewing a product. From memory, the only recent set they managed to release themselves without any prior leaks was the Joker Mansion.
  6. More box photos leaking now. The side view is indeed much better than from the front. Cnfirmed brake calipers front and rear.
  7. Still there but it´s not the same post as the one from the store. Check out the most recent thread and the second comment. Nice photo of the box there too.
  8. Yeah, seems they have stepped it up a level with the mosaic/puzzle design on the boxes. Apparently it has 15 interior bags. For those with issues about the leaks, the OP claims the store gave consent to take the pics ans publush them, provided the store location was not revealed.
  9. Checkout reddit lego technic, same as previous.
  10. Breaking news. Pics of the interior packaging have just leaked. It´s basically like the 911, with the manuals surrounded by 4 other boxes and the 4 rims on one side. All the boxes and the manual combined are a mosaic of the front headlight - perfect for OCD/Aspergers. Let´s hope they pack them better than the first 911.
  11. The retracting spoiler? In any case, so long as the functions work properly without modification, that should be enough. Perhaps the most positive thing is that Lego have listened to criticism about the 911´s box and made the necessary parts to fix it.
  12. It will be 4wd with no centre diff - unless they put it further forward, but that would make the gearbox redundant. Seems the big remaining question is how the gearbox is shifted.
  13. Looks like it is as the transmission tunnel goes forward well beyond the gearbox. 42069 did just fine without one too.
  14. Either that or no 4wd. Centre diff is not needed with such a poor turning circle and no PF anyway.
  15. On top of the gear box. Note no centre diff used in the gearbox AFICS.
  16. It´s like 8880 all over.
  17. Can anyone work out how many speeds it has?
  18. Wow, blue cogs and multiple manuals! I´ll admit now that the discs are part of the new hub!
  19. Yes, we agree. If the flange was moulded to the new connector, that would indeed limit further application to similar sized rims. Trying to find existing flanges on B/L but no success so far.
  20. I think the grey part of the hub has been replaced by the new element with no pins but the brake disc is an additional flange that sits around the black part. Although that would mean the disc wouldn´t turn... Hmm, perhaps you are right!
  21. I disagree. I reckon the disc is a flange that fits round the male hub connector with the new female part going inside. I don´t know what part number it i, but I have a feeling I have seen it somewhere before....
  22. The brake disc could well be an existing part reference with a sticker applied to simulate the vents.
  23. Depends whether they find other rims or application for it. One would imagine that only the printed parts and these rims will be 100% exclusive and the other parts will find their way into future models.
  24. Deployable. Deplorable is the front end....
