  1. Episode 80 is up! Some really fun character moments, fight choreography, and man, that twist was quite well done!
  2. Been looking forward to that! All we need now is Kendo Nya and we will have full Kendo versions of the new style of ninja! If only Zane had the rarer black training gi, but I assume the color scheme works out nicer this way.
  3. It’s about time - I was shocked we didn’t get any Jurassic Park merchandise back when the video game (where it was heavily featured) and the original Jurassic World line came out - I’m glad it’s having a resurgence this year. Better late then never!
  4. That would be awesome; I’d love a two pack with her and a Dalek. October would be the best time for it to be released too!
  5. Could some of this be why some of the dinosaurs, like the pterodactyl and the T-Rex were re-used prints from 2015?
  6. Hmm... the dragon has grown on me somewhat after seeing the video of it in action. I only wish it had an extra feature of large, flapping wings...
  7. Unfortunately, I doubt it - Lego wouldn’t want to make a set even remotely associated with an R-rated film, and the only reason we got him in 2012 is because the movie wasn’t out yet.
  8. BTTF? That’s awesome; I hope Brickheadz becomes a new haven for unused liscences from Dimensions...
  9. If whatever is going on with the show clears up and we actually get a new season, I can totally see this happening during the show, just not as a set...
  10. Loved the callbacks to each of the unique ninja’s themes in this episode - Nya’s master of water theme, Zane’s sacrifice theme, etc all came together in a fantastic episode. I really enjoyed the use of elemental powers to help solve problems, and while the motivation behind PIXAL’s turn as Samurai X is a little threadbare (she wanted to hide her identity to protect her friends, but her only friends are Ninja and Cyrus Borg, who has an army of Nindroids protecting him), but the reveal itself was excellent. This was definitely the best episode of the season, and one of my favorites ever.
  11. Not that I’ve heard - all we know is that one of the writers mentioned it’s coming and Tommy Andreasen is no longer involved, which isn’t good news for the show.
  12. Perhaps some elements from that pack were excess, but Samurai X, Tournament Zane, and both Sky Pirates had exclusive prints, faces, and accessories/hats. One of them even came with a specially printed sailor’s cap with the Sky Pirate logo on it. Usually figures in those packs tend to be all-exclusive... I’m hoping so too. A similar thing happened to Alien Conquest, where we even saw some boxes of the second wave (they were in the corner of a photo in a book) but they never saw that light of day. The good thing was that many of the designs seem to have been reused (Galaxy Quest’s Hive Crawler bares extreme similarities to the leaked box art of a cancelled Wave 2 Alien Conquest set) so maybe we’ll see designs of the summer wave, if there is one, crop up in other themes.
  13. Interesting. I’ve also been thinking of ways to give it much-needed articulation while keeping it stable, and I think this hits the sweet spot (hopefully)
  14. Chima’s last wave was at the Toy Fair for that year too; I think they’re showing everything from 1HY, unfortunately.
  15. That was all that was shown; the only reason it was there was because it was in the Boost section, not Ninjago. Most of the summer sets were not on display as Lego has their own, in-house toy fair now and won’t be showcasing many sets at the normal toy fairs anymore.
  16. Yeah, I saw the leaks for the Stormbringer Dragon main set, it was just a bit hard to make out the details - that's why I mentioned I was hoping the non-combo model looks ok.
  17. April, huh? Is that the earliest summer sets have been made available? Wonder if there’s anything else they have in store for the August release timeframe. And yeah, the Boost integration with that dragon is really poor. At least make it have flapping wings or something... and the color scheme doesn’t match at all. Hoping the actual set (minus Boost) is better.
  18. Sweet! I must have missed that detail. Looking forward to it!
  19. It mentioned new sets for the TV show off the heels of the film, so will only the SoG season 8 sets be shown or season 9 as well? Crossing my fingers...
  20. Nice catch - that’s an amazing feature they have, and really useful too! Overall the set looks great; the only disappointment is the new Basilisk (the rare case where the old one looked cooler/was better) but I’ll take anything we can get. The fact that HP is getting a resurgence this year is amazing; I hope it lasts for at least a few more years! The fact that they seem to be covering the first two movies in this wave lends credence to the fact that they’re covering 2 movies at a time per wave, which is really exciting. I think the best is yet to come...
  21. Huh. Well that’s a waste - did we really need that? I’d have rather liked to see one of the characters from the film that are actually missing from the line of sets, like Wong, human Vision, Scarlet Witch, etc - but perhaps they’re being saved for the yet-unrevealed seventh set.
  22. Got any DPCI codes for them?
  23. Well said, that’s a very valid point. The distribution of the more expensive dual molded elements and even printed legs has always been something that confused me - for example, Spider-Man debuted with dual molded legs in a $30 set for Civil War and proceeded to be included in $20 and $40 sets. Even Deathstroke had dual molded legs in a smaller sized set, which is why I was questioning at least the non-inclusion of dual molded legs for Iron Spider in the upcoming $100 set. But dual molded aside, it didn’t seem like lack of leg printing was anything that stopped Lego before, even in extremely small sets, so the lack of leg printing for the figures was still a bit confusing to me - I understand the cost issues, but if so, why not restrict costs on sets made for movies that aren’t as big as IW, such as Doctor Strange (a $30 set with three figures, all with leg printing)?
  24. Going over the sets again, what’s with almost all the figures lacking leg printing and good detailing? I’d feel as if Infinity War would be the set range where they’d go all-out on designs, figures, etc, but no. Only the figures in the two largest sets have leg printing, and even there, figures that clearly are made to have dual molded legs do not have them, like Iron Spider. Proxima Midnight, Falcon, the Outriders, the list of figures with no leg printing goes on. Some of the worst offenders are in Thor’s Weapon Quest set, where Groot has very simplistic torso printing and no leg printing and Thor has a really simple torso print with no leg print as well. Does anyone know why these choices were made in regards to the figures of this wave?
  25. Well, according to Tommy Andreasen, the Ultra Dragon took the Elemental Blazes to the Spirit Coves... for some reason. I hope they at least get a mention in next season’s Dragon-heavy storyline. Dragon hilts are used in next wave’s sets, so I’m hoping there will be at least references to them.
