  1. Never played Overwatch nor do I know anything about the game or characters, but if there’s a good variety of buildings, especially oriental temples, I would totally purchase some or all them regardless of my lack of Overwatch knowledge.
  2. Right, I forgot the TV a show suit was so small compared to a minifigure. Hopefully it will be a pretty cool small build at $15!
  3. That’s really a shame - having a full size samurai Mech remake would be amazing.
  4. In other news, the SDCC panel is finally out: https://youtu.be/u4lh8mhb8qk
  5. I’m not sure how minifigures development works in tandem with show development, but could this be a case of Lego wanting to put a mystery minifigures in sets to hype up getting him in physical form and the writers just deciding to not really do anything about him? Seems like a really strange scenario to me; he was clearly supposed to be someone important with a secret identity who was just randomly scrapped last minute...
  6. Thanks for the comment! Yeah, the smooth floor was actually included just to get all the angles right without gaps underneath walls but actually turned out quite nice, despite depleting almost all my supply of 1x1 round tiles.
  7. Hey all! Was struck by inspiration over the past few days and decided to attempt my first non-construction MOC: a TV show scale Monastery from the Pilot and Season 1 (and apparently next year’s special as it’s been rebuilt). The trickiest part was getting angles right - I took a few creative liberties with the show version as I couldn’t really get the back most building to the right length to scale with the other walls, and I’m only just now noticing there’s a super tall spire with a hook that’s present in the show that I’ll have to add in later. The “dojo” aspect of it is a tad rushed - I originally had plans to make the training parts rise up from the ground and build a hefty part of the mountain, but given time constraints (I started this two days ago and go out of town tomorrow) I just threw them together really quickly. Let me know what you think! Since this is my first MOC using system parts, go easy on me :) The one thing I wish I had more time on was the interior; besides a simple bed for Sensei Wu and a container for the Sacred Flute, I didn’t have time to include some other memorable locations like the video game console or Kai’s mirror/bathroom.
  8. I can totally see this happening, but just to add one more piece of info - in a blurb about the Lego Ninjago Movie at the Lego House in Billund, Ninjago’s evergreen status is mentioned, meaning it was still considered evergreen at least in 2017. Since evergreen usually means never-ending, unless plans changed, I’m guessing it has a longer lifespan than ten years? After all, as you said, Bionicle lasted ten years yet was never declared evergreen during its run. On another note, looking at the leaks - we have Jay’s Storm Fighter, Zane’s Icemobile, Kai’s Fire Bike, and Cole’s Earth Driller. The first three are remakes of the Golden Weapons vehicles, so I’m guessing the “Earth Driller” is actually Cole’s vehicle from the Scythe of Quakes, keeping in with the pilot/season 1 theme of the other main ninja vehicles.
  9. Some of them have the black Wu Cru designs, but the most recent magazine featuring the unprinted hood was Cole in his SOG outfit for the European magazine. Also, not sure how credible this is, but according to some leaks on Instagram (where all the leaks seem to be cropping up these days), the Bricktober packs will be GWPs for later this year. I have no idea how they will go about repackaging and getting rid of the TRU logo, etc, but there’s still hope they’ll see the light of day. Really hoping to get my hands on Kabuki Nya especially (and multiples just so I can use that bracelet arm print to update previous versions of her)
  10. As long as they’re still released in Toys R Us somewhere in the world, it’ll be fine. If they aren’t even released in TRU Canada, EU, etc, then that’s a problem.
  11. Darn, only four episodes for this big end-all threat, PLUS having to allot screentime for Jay and Nya’s wedding as well? I really hope this won’t be as rushed as it sounds.
  12. BrickLink is probably the best place, and usually prices are much lower than eBay - good luck! I’ve been to three different Targets in my state and none of them seem to have it as well, sadly.
  13. What was the whole 6 hours thing? Does that mean an actual season besides the 4 episode special? Also, it really bugs me how they’ve retroactively messed up every episode numbering by including the pilots in their 100th episode count, but I’m guessing they didn’t have time for a 6 episode special what with an actual season up ahead. Still, if episode 98 is actually episode 100, and every previous Ninjago episode numbering has just been messed up, that’s really annoying.
  14. Yup, and it was also in Downtown Diner, but those are the only two instances it’s come in black.
  15. Sorry if I wasn’t clear - you have to use the Walmart SKU finder to search for the set, and then copy and paste the UPC from the set description into the Target searcher. Here’s the link for Firstbourne, for example: https://brickseek.com/walmart-inventory-checker?sku=611337000
  16. I feel you as a huge fan of the show who let’s just say is a bit outside the recommended age range by quite a few factors. I love how Lego has once again been able to create a rich lore and vibrant story around a toy line - something that in my mind even exceeds Bionicle. I’m surprised many of the multiple-episode sets that were heavily featured in the show aren’t sets. The hyped-up Battle Wagon (that would make for a perfect set - there’s even clear stud shooters), the other variant of Dragon Hunter Speeder (which honestly looks way cooler than the Destiny’s Wing with an angular design), the Dragon Hunter car, and of course the ice, fire, and wind dragons.
  17. You can actually get the UPCs by going to the Walmart inventory checker, searching the set number under “find SKU,” which shows you both the SKU (Walmart) and UPC (universal) of the set when you click on it. It’s a bit of a roundabout way but by plugging in the UPC codes into the Target Brickseek you can get the DPCIs that way.
  18. You can get DPCI numbers by using the UPC numbers on Brickseek, although I’ve already seen the entire wave at my local Fred Meyers in Washington State.
  19. Looking awesome so far. Since so many of the TLNM sets are on sale, I might be really tempted to buy second copies of all the sets to make this, or something like it, if you post the LDD file. Keep up the good work!
  20. Episode 92 is out and has given us our first look at a potential new minifigure for next year:
  21. I agree with a lot of your points, although I wouldn’t really call it a
