Sets look pretty good but honestly a tad underwhelming compared to the amazing Movie sets. I'm trying to figure out which figures are in what sets but blurry pics are hard to work with... One thing to note is that Zane is not titanium in his Spinjitsu set, unless the box art is prelim. That seems odd to me...

Yeah, wave 2 (and most likely three) are still coming, but prelim catalogs won't show movie sets due to spoilers, just like how TLBM Wave 2 sets weren't leaked with the other sets.

The newest video game trailer uses the vehicles in set form and gives us a good look at Cole's Quake Mech. It's too hard to tell how it balances on one wheel but I'm guessing it'll have two flaps that fold down from the sides as a kickstand and fold up for play.

The thing is that I don't recall the original set well enough to know which parts I added, but they were all standard bits from my collection - I remember grabbing lots of 1x2 plates for whatever reason, and I didn't even need extra click hinges as I used the ones provided. I'll get those pics up as soon as I can and I think you'll find many of the parts are very common and you may not even have to do a BL order after all. Hope this helps! -

Will pictures showing how I built it suffice? I can take a bunch and PM them to you, and if there's anything unclear just let me know. -

It depends - I can tell you what extra parts I used to have the articulated click joint in the knees, but those alone won't work well with the original lower body and feet so it would be a fairly substantial list for those modifications as well. -

I modded it to have ratcheted joints and it works like a charm - I had to mod the upper part as well to give the legs more articulation in that regards and also modified the feet to be able to move more but keep the same aesthetic- I've also modified the waist to have articulation with double friction ball joints: Also made some smaller mods to the other sets: Gave the dragon head swim ball joint articulation, which I felt it sorely needed: Gave the Water Strider some articulated upper legs: And modified the Ice Tank cockpit to accommodate an articulated cannon (which took a lot more reworking than I thought it would): I also removed the large wheel and gave the treads friction pins to move the turbines: -

The info in spoilers mostly comes from Brickset, which is usually pretty good with checking before adding sets to the database. Brickset explicitly states that the second smallest set is an Aquatic Army set, leading people to believe it's the Piranha Mech, and the Volcano Base and Quake Mech are explicitly stated -

Second wave is coming with Cole's Quake Mech, Garmadon's Volcano Lair, Pirahna Mech, and one other smaller set. -

Yeah, I'm leaning towards the second but it does take away some of the unique things I liked about it, namely the angled lower front armor and angles upper foot armor, both of which damper articulation pretty severely but look so darn cool. -

Just saw that, good to know. It's pretty redundant to old outfits so that's good to hear it's not official.- 4,591 replies

I finally got around to using the mod for the Fire Mech posted a few weeks back to give it leg articulation and it generally looks good! Unfortunately, this is about as far as you can make it move as the upper leg cannot move forward much and the feet cannot articulate vertically pretty much at all. Additionally, it can't quite hold a pose - the joints buckle after a few minutes in a sustained pose. To fix these, however, you would probably have to modify the torso and foot build significantly as user Kevin Low has done on Flickr here: I'm still deciding myself whether I want to keep it as close to the set as possible or go all-out like this. I'll probably do a mix of both. -

Yeah, that's what I was thinking except the set actually came with the wrong color, which was a bit odd given that his other appearances have a different one. -

I'm guessing the figure in the book cover is either preliminary or just a mockup just based on the fact that it's a clear photoshop from Kai's Skybound outfit. I'm guessing his actually alternate outfit, if he even gets one, will look at least slightly different than that one depicted.- 4,591 replies

I just noticed one oddity - Kai's Armor in the Temple of the Ultimate Ultimate Weapon is a different color than in all his other appearances - there it is flat silver, but it is gunmetal gray in all other sets. Even odder, the minifigures lineup at the front of the box shows it as gunmetal gray whereas the box art depicts it as flat silver. It was just something I found a bit strange given I wouldn't think it should differ throughout sets as it's one color for the character. -

If it's any help, my Target stated that there was only one of each set and they were on shelves, since they clearly weren't, I asked him to kindly check the back stock room and there they all were - got them price matched with Walmart and good to go. -

Yeah - I've been holding out on the CMFs waiting for confirmation on this - if anyone else could confirm that would be great! That being said, I'm probably heading down to the Lego Store today and can check by feeling the first 5 or so -

Price matched all the sets I needed from Target with Walmart, now I just need the Bounty and the Jelly sub... Those Walmart prices are seriously insane. $23 for Water Strider? $80 for Temple? I just couldn't pass them up! -

I think the main thing is that he was a pretty major player in season four but didn't appear in any sets, whether you liked him or not. -
No, this is fine, I'm happy to trade! This list is probably really old (I've been selling and trading on Reddit as well) so I'll link a few of my most recent trading and selling topics here:
