very cool cockpit

great scene and npu throughout. thanks for the dry dock nod. some of the more aquatic MC members may be able to help out with the underwater missions, we haven't really taken full advantage of their mutations, yet

[Freebuild] Arriving in Andromeda with style!
goatman461 replied to Bob De Quatre's topic in AG1 Archive
beautiful features. the doors are brilliant -
Thanks. The walker is based on the parts had in front of me and I wanted to use the bike part. The assassins are just there b/c I thought they looked cool and I wanted to show the ship fully loaded.

Thanks, Pombe certainly killed that though @Pombe - nice find, lol

Location: Yetornius - I06 Tags: Christmas Finally... the beacon... 100 miles north of the Jacques LaRose Training Facility on the south pole of Yetornius, pilot John Hannibal reaches the final marker of the Octan explorer training course. As he activates the beacon to coordinate his pick up, alone, Hannibal has time to think about the past two months of rehabilitation, training, and the loss of his command. It wouldn't be long before he was again demoted and his ability to find answers to the assassination attempt would be lost. And, he knew he couldn't bring his family to Andromeda without first knowing that the would be safe. Hannibal knew just the man to put on the job... as long as he could take some time away from the important work he was doing for CEO Pombe... Damn, it's quite out here. Tomorrow will be 60 days since the attack... Christmas day... and here I am where the love light gleams... I'll be home for Christmas, darling...

30 to Bob and 350 to Jody from the pool. Thank you. Also, I think Danny missed out on his DP bonus this week and a couple of weeks ago. Should've been +1 for dom. for dummies and +1 for the vehicle bonus.

Welcome LN. H05-08 are good choices. We'll get you on the PM soon.

nice subtle bend in the walls and i really like the twin faces in the floor. Your building has come a really long way and I think you should advance to doing (AG) modulars. With your building style, I think it'd be a good, and challenging, fit. The Axle still has so many corridors to explore and modular-space should definitely be a thing.

Great techniques throughout, especially the dark red on the walls and Kawashita flower on the desk. Cool micro ship, too. I hope we get to see the minifig scale version. Welcome to AG

This is a great idea guys! I think we're going to get some really cool builds out of this. I'm already planning my modular Lothal build (it was going to be Octan, but I've been itching to try Lothal). One suggestion I have... the reward for this, aside from XP, seems pretty far off. Occasionally having an "alien roundup" with increased prizes might encourage more builders that would otherwise pass this up. It could be something like: "submit your best BH build in the month of March to win ____ (double XP, a polybag, sponsor prize, special tag, etc.)" Regardless, I'm in!

[MOC] Minifigure Scale Rebels Phantom with base
goatman461 replied to goatman461's topic in LEGO Star Wars
@gavralcraw - sorry I missed your post before. Sorry, no instructions. I'm happy to help you work through the build if you're interested, but I don't have time to make instructions, and you would not want to make all of the same mistakes I made. Thanks for the bump guys, glad you found this and liked it -
The Octan fleet will stay on I06

nice speeder! elaborating on my post-RotJ idea (bored at work today)... In 2 weeks, I'm sure we'll know a lot more, but if anybody is interested in a good post-RotJ breakdown w/o having to read all of the new canon, I found this helpful... http://io9.com/everything-we-know-about-star-wars-post-return-of-the-j-1729549100 Lots of spoilers (for the books I assume) I'm thinking this leaves a lot of room open for different factions that could rise and fall based on how many builders join up with them. My guess is that the most faithful representations of the universe would be more popular to join and build in. Builders could move between groups to facilitate this, and xp gained with the group could have some benefit - encouraging builders to pick a good faction and stick to it, but allowing them to jump ship if the faction withers. One problem with movement between groups would be organizing PMs, but this might also introduce an interesting spying element to the game. Different color schemes could be used between factions, but the amount of color could decrease as factions get more powerful (so that we don't limit new builders). For example, an Imperial Moff could start out by adding dark red to his ships and stormtroopers, but as more builders join, less and less dark red would be needed to accent the builds until they become the new Empire without any need for a specific color scheme. The factions could build up control of planets through freebuilds and wager that control in the episodes, thereby creating a group incentive to do freebuilds, and in-game group rewards for winning episodes. So, hypothetical Moff Lucas's team could build up 20 points on Hoth, just to lose them to Admiral Wick during an episode. We could keep the freebuild point system as is to give an incentive to controlling planets. (side note - is there a planet up for grab this episode?) Sorry for the long post, just throwing some brainstorming out there

I don't do many city builds, but I put these together for a DFWLUG contest and thought I'd share here. The birch/aspen tree was inspired by Miro Dudas and the evergreen used some techniques from Thorsten Bonsch. Park by Ryan McBryde, on Flickr

Location: Arium Minor - F09 Tags: Piracy, Alien After their surprise attack, Zoid invaders corral all of the pilots who were unable to get to their ships. The beleaguered pilots watch for any chance they might get to escape while a Zoid officer inspects some of their equipment. Zoids have no need for protective space suits as their hard exoskeletons allow them to survive in the vacuum of space. This allows them to easily attack and capture human vessels in space; which makes their raid on the surface of F09 that much more peculiar... The Zoid officer finishes his inspection and orders his crew to move the pilots to the Zoid transports waiting nearby.

"Secrecy" was probably too loaded and a poor choice of words. I hope I didn't offend anybody, I really do appreciate the work that y'all do. That being said, even those of us that have involved in SoNE for a while and have heavily participated have no idea what is going on with the game. It would just be nice to get more communication about future episode concepts, story arcs, timelines, y'all's vision for the forum, etc. I'm not even sure who runs this place
