  1. The trouble is with me, when I start a build, I can't stop until its finished. I once didn't eat before a build and had a huge groan in my stomach and couldn't move until I was fed. I now eat a packet if crisps or a choccy bar for a polybag/4.99 small box set, 1 course meal for a set like the 9.99 city vehicles, 2 course for for City buildings sets (like Town Square) and 3 course for something like a modular.
  2. I have 2 budgies, 1 named Jake and 1 named Elwood. I had one called Marty but he died bless him. My 80's film obsession is on my pets.
  3. Maybe they are announcing a BBC theme with Top Gear and Doctor Who.
  4. I have been to 1 Comic Con ever and loved it, would love to go to another. I have never been out of Europe before (only places I have been outside UK is France). I love LEGO and always have. I can take pics for you guys. I love trying to help out the community. Reporting news sounds like the most epic job ever and intertwined with LEGO, would be the greatest experience (for me) know to man.
  5. Not sure if relevant or not but I had Brickarms stopped by customs as they thought that thye were real guns :/
  6. If I was in possession of a SDCC exclusive I would keep it stored correctly and if I got bugged by my kids or another person to let them play with it I would buy a bootleg to keep them busy.
  7. Could have asked for the price of just the bat.
  8. I was left some classic space and town sets in a will from my grandpa. It was scary because he died before my birth and it said "To my wife Sylvia I leave my LEGO collection to hold for the younger generation".
  9. A black version of the clown hair.
  10. No problem, you around the Tenby/Saundersfoot area?
  11. Thank you both, I will feature them in a stop-motion of mine as a "nod" to the film.
  12. Found a brilliant stall at a car boot sale in Carew Market (Pembrokeshire, Near Tenby). It was just a full stall of LEGO, the seller said he goes there every Sunday. He was selling the newest Road Baseplates, 3 for £10 (LEGO does it 2 for £10.49). He also had loads of Classic Town sets (I bought 2 for £6). The stall also had a giant pirate ship from the old Pirate range. He was selling Star Wars, Harry Potter, Indiana Jones and loads of Classic Town/Space/Pirate minifigs. If you guys can get down there, I recommend it.
  13. I love the Yeti's car, it looks pretty cool. The pick up would be cooler if you put bigger wheels on. The convertible has a good concept but it is kinda hard to match the style with functionality.
  14. I had a dream that I was thrown into a pit of LEGO bricks. It hurt as well (in the dream) xD. Wish I took a PAB cup down there though.
  15. It might just be a coincedance. Check your history to see if there are any unknown sites if the computer is shared.
  16. I really liked the Mini Cooper mini-model that you got this month with orders over £50 so I thought, "two more and I could do the Italian Job" so I decided to BrickLink the pieces needed to create the Red, White and Blue Mini's. There are a few changes from the original mini-model. The main changes are the colours (well duh), the wheels (I thought that the ones on the original looked too modern) and the roof which I decided to use a single flat 4x4 plate. I thought about making Mr Bean's Lime Green Mini Cooper like this, would you like to see that? 17. I really like this car, its amazing! Did you customise the wheels to chrome yourself, do TLG sell them or did you buy them from someone?
  18. How many pieces is that Kart? It looks really good and doesn't look brick heavy if you want a track load of them.
  19. I have this, so glad it has numbered bags. I was told that it had plain bags with no numbers (I haven't had the chance to build yet). With the amount of skateboards and basketballs/footballs (soccer) I have from sets spare, I might re arrange the seconds floor so it has a sport shop.
  20. Played ROBLOX for most of the day, paid for my latest Bricklink order and stared at my unbuilt Grand Emporium and Pet Shop (I ,then thought of how much of a job I have).
  21. RIP to all passengers of MH17. God bless the families and friends.
  22. If LEGO did that they would be committing suicide from a business point of view.
  23. So The Guardian are now picking at LEGO when they have previously commissioned people to make LEGO animations of things like the World Cup and the Olympics. Also, there is no right way to play with LEGO. Some people like building with instructions, some don't. Some may like licensed themes, some may not. Some people prefer sets while some prefer building from brick buckets.
  24. That is a really cool X6. You have captured the significant details and shape perfectly. I love the picture at the end, it also helps you compare it to the real car. Could you possibly make a Dodge Monaco (aka the Bluesmobile)? I think this is a great model though.
  25. I don't think facial expressions can be copyrighted/trademarked. The minifigure as a whole, yes but not an expression.
