On drilling holes in minifigs
CrazyDalton777 replied to Mr Greeble's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Wouldn't it be easier to just cut off the arm peg and attach to the side (as long as you don't need these arms to move. -
Intruiging Tweet from TLG-Apparent huge news is coming
CrazyDalton777 replied to ocifant's topic in General LEGO Discussion
If it isn't Bionicle it could be TLM 2 or the Top Gear theme. Has the minifig scale Minecraft been given a release date? -
The official organisation against counterfeits LEGO!
CrazyDalton777 replied to ron6's topic in Community
I think it is wrong to target Chinese people on this. Yes, a lot of the fakes are made there but what stops an American or a Welshman or a German from selling them as you have described? Really though, I think you should leave listings alone that say "LEGO COMPATIBLE" in the title as people should know that compatible means that it works with LEGO but isn't actually LEGO. -
I think the lack of normal buildings in LEGO CITY is a cunning marketing scheme. If you think about, LEGO want you to buy into other themes a well as just CITY, so just put them in the Creator theme and people will buy them. They will also think about buying other sets from that range too and this happens multiple times in a LEO fans shopping time.

Its all ok now, I basically helped him pitch the idea of him having LEGO to his mother and using some MOC's and a few Brickfilms that I made, his mother was quite surprised. He just got a few Marvel and DC sets so yeah, life is good.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I will use them. Using the free LEGO in the newspaper would be a good start for him. I will notify him of the suggestions when I can.

Basically I need help in finding a way for my friend to feed his love for LEGO without his mother knowing or a way that everyone is happy.
-
My friend who has always loved LEGO wants to buy some as from 8 years old he wasn't allowed any more due to his mother saying "Your too old for it" and "LEGO is childish" and since then he has not had LEGO. He loves Marvel and I told him that I was buying some LEGO instead of an Xbox One and I told him about the sale. He is going to buy some on the way from school (we are in our final year) and I am asking the Eurobricks community for help in a rescue mission for TFOL's and AFOL's kind. I just need a few short term suggestions for him to hide it and build without being found out and also a long term solution for him to explain to his mother that he likes LEGO and wants some.

Best Minifigures of Each Theme
CrazyDalton777 replied to Lancethecat's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Ideas: Marty McFly - The printing is really detailed, you can see every layer of his outfit which is cool. DC Universe: The Flash - I love his helmet and how crisp the printing looks.- 6 replies

Looking For Custom Printing Service
CrazyDalton777 replied to CrazyDalton777's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Thanks, I will check it out. Sorry for posting this. -
I am looking for a service that does Digital or Pad printing for LEGO torsos and legs. I would need the items in quantities of 5 at a time and then ordering more of the same quantity depending on the predicament. I would also need the printer to refine an image based on a fairly detailed sketch that I would provide. I would also need the cost to be economically viable for my quantities. I apologise if this is the wrong forum to post this question in.

What made you get out of your LEGO dark age?
CrazyDalton777 replied to BearHeart's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I have never had a full dark ages. There was a time when I still played with LEGO but just didn't buy any more at that time. The DeLoreon brought be "Back" -
Bricklink will have loads so you don't need to buy a massive stock of them.
