[MOC] Tatra 813 Trial Truck
Mestari replied to Madoca 1977's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Great, but please add rocket after you finish the whole model :P BTW, I'm struggling with a hose in MLCad, I just can't even think how much more I would have to learn to make articulated suspension... Well, off to start learning CAD! -
The more I think about it the more I'm convinced they did it in a rush and were somehow forced to do it fast. Maybe it was breaking some kind of license and they found out when it was just about to be finalised?

You have a good list of those with nice comparison table here: http://www.technicopedia.com/cars.html Just look at those that have transmission. All of those are manual.

This is embarrassing ;) but I only have the Lone Ranger set, that I grabbed on sale... I do like trains though very much. It's just hard to buy them with virtually no space and with them being so expensive. And then you have to explain that to your wife ;) So... Just one unpowered train.

It's nice to see those one-purpose parts used in a slightly different way :)

Hurray! Inwas waiting for this news wih little hope, but here it comes :) I guess I've read the whole technicopedia twice already... -
Thanks! I'll do that. Right now I'm at not impressive 76.8%, but several orders are in place, 42021, 42029 and 42030 will find their way towards me eventually and the rest will hopefully be much easier and cheaper to get. Can't wait to finally start building :) I again recommend lego direct, it was cheaper for thin liftarms than BL.

It seems like not much room for pneumatic ;( I was really looking forward to some big (or new even longer) cylinder set...

I just talked with customer service as my order didn't go through. We did it over the phone instead and it will be shipped on August 15th probably. The lady claimed that this diesn't seem to be sold out at all. We simply need to wait a bit more, that's it. She admitted they have some technical difficulties today.

Absolutely! The black blacktron minifigure is a perfect example :) In my case that poor fella that was improsoned in the Star Trak space police vehicle, was actually a good guy ;)

This is the only place to get those now. And I really like that fact, that you still are able to buy a set with a classic smiley face. I hope they will keep this tradition in future Modulars as well... It's like a tradition now, don't let us break it!

[MOC] Galloping Horse
Mestari replied to touthomme's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
PLEASE make instructions! My wife just told I need to build it for her... -
Absolutely fantastic! I had to pick my jaw up from the floor ;)
-
Well, if majority of the parts should be technic, then how could this be Model Team style? One contradicts the other. So how is it?
-
Beautiful! It's hard to imagine how much work was put into it. Will you exhibit this ship in Warsaw as well? I won't make it to Swarzewo :(

It depends on who you ask. For me it's a big deal actually. I have enough of computer intraction already. I don't need to have it imposed on me even more when building something physical. I really like to turn the computer off, have my milk/cocoa/beer/etc. and sit down in front of my bricks and paper instructions to enjoy these "analog" moments. Having BI digital only beats the purpose of this whole "physical only" experience for me. On top of that those digital instructions are of bad quality (both resolution and colour accuracy) so it's more strajn on your eyes. And we pay a lot for these set... And no, I won't be printing this on my own. Having said that the set is on my shoppng list due to PF elements.

Absolutely beautiful! Amazing idea too :)
