  1. Korrak feels a hand grab him and lead him away while shouts rise up behind him. He struggles at first, not understanding what had just happened or where his brother was. He is pushed a long for a few minutes before his vision begins to return. He looks up and sees Anfauglir leading him down a long hallway. Behind him are Rokkar and Anzar stumbling along, obviously still blinded from the mysterious flash. Korrak: What the hell just happened, and where are you taking us? Anfauglir quickens the pace. Anfauglir: If you keep quiet and do as I say, we'll have plenty of time for questions later. Let's keep moving because I promise Senurhem's hospitality doesn't get any better than what you saw earlier. By now Anzar and Rokkar could see and started asking the same questions but Anfauglir hurried them along without a word. Korrak: Let's do as he says, he’s the only one not trying to kill us. Anzar isn't reassured. Is this another trick? Another trap? Anzar: I trust him no more than I trust you two. Anfauglir leads them down a myriad of hallways, several times fighting off soldiers who were now searching the entire fortress. They continue until Anfauglir stops at a large decorative fountain filled with molten lava. He activities a hidden switch, draining the lava and revealing a stone door. They rush through before Anfauglir flips another switch. The door closes and the sound of running lava can be heard on the other side. Anfauglir: They shouldn't know we came this way, but we'll still have to bypass the guards patrolling outside. They follow the corridor for several minutes before reaching a dead end of stone walls. Anfauglir reaches into a small hole cleverly hidden on the wall, lifting it up and unveiling a sky bathed in the orange-purple hues of an ending day. Above them the fortress walls tower upward, and the shouts of orcs can be heard nearby. They sneak for several more hours through the rough terrain before Anfauglir advises a rest. Anfauglir: We need a break, though it may not be for long. Senurhem and Raavage are surely scouring the mountains in search of our little party. No one argues. The day's events had taken a toll on all of them. Anzar sits on the ground and stretches out his tired legs while Korrak helps dress his brother's wound. Anzar contemplates the strange situation he's found himself in. He came to Lagash Ur to seek revenge against the Zugal, now he was escaping alongside them. He knew little of Anfauglir, expect that his life was now in the necromancer's hands. Anfauglir and Korrak talk briefly but as old friends, which does not encourage Anzar's trust in Anfauglir. Nevertheless Anfauglir had helped them escape and taken great risks to do so. Besides, it is not wise to travel the Rakarth without guide, especially when hundreds of hostile soldiers are tracking you down. Still, a million questions buzz inside Anzar's head. Anzar: Necromancer, if this is another trap, I am too tired to avoid it. I have no choice but to trust you. Yet I must know, why did you forsake your people to help us escape? Anfauglir: Necromancer? I have not been called that in some time, at least not by those so deeply indebted to me. Please, call me Anfauglir. To answer your question, by breaking with Senurhem I do not forsake my people but hope to save them. Senurhem has tied his fortunes to Raavage and the Black Spire. He hopes for limitless power but does not see his greed will bring doom to our lands, and possibly all of Historica. Anfauglir knows this answer has only raised more questions, but cries in the distance instantly grab the party's attention. Raavage's troops must have caught their scent and were moving in. Anfauglir: We have to go now. In a few hours we'll make it to my camp in the next valley, where my men are waiting. There we'll be safe. I'll try to explain everything I can then. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- About this MOC: Greetings again! This is my third build covering the events directly after the Zugal/Dragon Master battle as well as Raavage's continued attempts to dominate Nocturnus. I'll be the first to admit this is a pretty rushed build, but I hated leaving you guys off with that cliff hanger on the last installment! Unfortunately life got a little busy recently and this build isn't quite all I wanted it to be (I suppose they never are - I just end up abandoning them at some point). I played with the lava fall forever and finally gave up on the current incarnation. I'm not to happy with the rock work either. I really wanted it to look like old layers of lava that had formed to rock with a carved out "bowl" where the lava wall had eroded the rocks for ages. I hope that kinda comes across but I really think it would have been more effective on a scene that was a bit bigger. This is certainly not the most decorative fortress wall ever, but I thought the clean, strange angles gave off a sinister feel. It definitely gave me some ideas for expanding this build in the future! In any case, I certainly appreciate y'all taking a look and, of course, any C&C is always welcome! For past and future installments, please see the following! The Hand Book II: Summit at Lagash Ur The Hand Book II: Summit at Lagash Ur Part II The Hand Book II: Escape from Lagash Ur The Hand Book II: Anfauglir's Camp The Hand Book II: A Gathering Storm For a refresher on the events leading up to these series of builds, please start here! As a final note, let me add that I cannot wait to build a green field again!
  2. Wonderful work Mpoh, such an awesome and creative idea! This is a particularly eye-catching piece and that is some masterful parts usage. I love the composition and, of course, the photography is very well done. I'm sure we'll be seeing more of these techniques by other builders very soon! Also, congrats on the frontpage, very well-deserved!
  3. Thanks everyone, I promise you will not have to wait long for the rest! Darn, must have slipped my mind. Here ya go! (In case you were wondering where old Gen. Zurn and Count Basil had hidden during the battle.)
  4. Nice work again LV and cool idea! I love that rockwork and the old, crumbly look to it.
  5. Nice build Wedge, the use of the old and new grey really works well! It's a very clean design and I like the second level of the castle leading to the top of the rock bluff. Very cool, though I wonder if having the rock in dark bley would have the castle more striking. Anyways, great work!
  6. Cool scene, I love the forced perspective!
  7. Thanks again y'all, I certainly appreciate it! Thanks Emma, I was trying to keep the suspense going throughout the story, I'm glad you liked it! And Part II is up now!
  8. Senurhem leads the parties to a table prepared for a feast, where their eyes light up at the sight of the spread. Tasters from each of the factions sampled the food to ensure it had not been poisoned. When it became clear the food was safe, the aides were dismissed and the leaders of the various parties sat down to eat. Conversation was light throughout the meal, though Senurhem rambled continuously about his fortress while Raavage recounted tales of treachery by the Nocturnian resistance. Few listened however, as the break did little more than allow each commander to stew on his own thoughts. Anzar rarely took his eyes off the Zugal leaders, Korrak and Rokkar. They had made no secret of their elation after capturing Dragon's Keep and the spoils kept within. At one point Korrak stood up and retrieved a wine bottle from his pack, offering everyone at the table a glass. On the bottle, beautifully etched into the side, was the royal symbol of the Dragon Masters, clearly retrieved from Dragon Keep. He had kept control of himself throughout the negotiation but at that moment Anzar could no longer suppress his rage. Anzar: How dare you parade around my father's possessions as if they were truly yours! Do not get too comfortable in those halls for you will not enjoy them long Anzar locked eyes with Korrak. Seeing the threat in the Dragon’s eyes, Rokkar jumped up and grabbed the hilt of his sword. Rokkar: Your weakness on the field of battle proves you are not worthy of more than you can carry on your back, dragon pup! We invite you to retake the musty dungeon you called your home, at least then you can regain some of your honor in death. I assume however it will be your brother alone who will have the courage to try, but he too will be sent running with his tail between his legs! Anzar could take no more. His head swirled in rage and confusion. In the last few days he had lost his father, his ancestral home and many of his men. But now the Ravens called into question his honor, at this point all that Anzar had left. “No”, he thought, he would hold on to that and put the Ravens back in their place. He drew his sword but Senurhem's guards were quicker however and pulled Anzar back. Korrak laughed and shook his head. Korrak: Where was this ferocity during the battle for your home? Instead I saw your men fall leaderless in battle, as if you had left them to die for your own mistakes. I almost felt sorry for them as we crushed them. Senurhem's guards restrain Anzar, as he turns to Raavage. Anzar: The Dragon Masters will have no part to play in your foul plots as long as you allow these parasite-ridden pigeons to squat in our home! I would rather see your alliance shattered than provide it with the slightest assistance! You seek friends only to make them slaves later. The Dragon Masters will wipe the Zugal from our lands, but only if you have not done so first Raavage! Anzar's words leave Raavage speechless. He had not expected such an outburst from the young Dragon Master. For all his inexperience and lack of access to the Spire's inner circle, Anzar had laid out part of Raavage's plans right then and there, bare for everyone in the room to see. Ravage watches as the realization spreads to each commander. Rokkar had harbored deep suspicions against Raavage since the incident with Prilo in the Eyrie. Raavage would use them for his own goals and then crush them when they were no longer needed. Much like his Dragon foe, Rokkar knows maintaining the charade has passed Rokkar: The Dragon Master is fool, but he is right. I see it in your eyes! Fury rages inside Raavage and he is sickened by the faces now staring at him. He knew chances were slim of allying all the factions for an assault on Abyssian, but now he sees every alliance falling apart. Once he succeeded in raising an undead army, no one would be left standing to oppose his power. He controlled the Hand and did not need these pitiful leaders to help him. If they wanted to hear the truth, they could have it. Anything they would do now to stop him would only delay the inevitable. Raavage: You cowards, each and every one of you. If only you had had the courage to march on to Abyssian, I would have destroyed what was left of you right then. Now you will have to see your lands and your people suffer. If you are not with me, you are against me. With Raavage's declaration dozens of Hand soldiers burst through the doors and descended on the dining hall. Senurhem's men appear to be in league with Raavage as Covenant guards surround the party. Senurhem lets out a long, raspy laugh then speaks. Senurhem: This is no way to treat your host, gentlemen. Your companions did not like the prospect of slavery, and had to be put down. Shall you spare our blades another coat of blood, or shall you die as disgracefully as they did? Anzar draws his sword as Senurhem and Raavage's soldiers approach. Anzar: Senurhem! Raavage! You scum, this was just a trap after all! The walls will be covered with the blood of your men before you finish me! The Hand and Covenant soldiers form a circle around Anzar and the others. With sword in hand, he begins to back up and bumps into something hard. He quickly turns his head to see Korrak standing behind him and facing off against a group of Hand soldiers. Korrak: Well dragon pup it seems as if you have found some of your honor, I hope it will serve you well, as this will be the last chance for any of us to show it! If we survive this, we can continue our feud then. For now, I hope to slay more of these pathetic soldiers, but I need someone protecting my back. You will have to do. Anzar looks around to see what had become of Zurn and Basil. They were no were to be seen. “Typical,” he thought, they had slinked away before the battle started and had probably aided Raavage in this trap. Another wave of Raavage’s men press the battle while Korrak, Rokkar and Anzar battle for their lives. He is so tired now that Anzar can hardly raise his sword. He notices Rokkar has suffered an injury, blood is dripping on the floor. He looks up to see a monstrous Hand soldier, over seven feet tall, his face is cruel and he wields a large mace. He knows this is the end. A lifetime of moments race through Anzar's mind. He knows he hasn't lived up to his people's warrior code, but if he did not live with complete honor, at least he could die with it. The soldier prepares to swing his mace he lets out a horrifying groan. To his amazement, Anzar sees a black blade pierce through the soldier’s armor followed by a flash of white light blinding Korrak, Rokkar and Anzar. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- And, just for fun, a pic of the wait staff at Lagash Ur! About this MOC: This is the second part of the unfolding events at Lagash Ur, which takes place right after the epic collab presentation put together by ZCerberus and Torgar that details the fracturing of the Black Spire alliance. Sorry for the cliffhanger here, but don't worry, there's more to come soon! You'll definitely want to keep an eye out for Nocturnus these days as I know both Z and T have some epic stuff in the works. For Part I of this story please see here! If you were living under a rock at the time and missed T and Z's awesome collab presentation, or just need a refresher on current events, please start here!
  9. Very cool LV, this is an awesome entry. +1 for the instant challenge entry too!
  10. Great job, this is really looking good. You've definitely sold me on your use of dark tan, and the water does have a nice shallow look with the light blue rounds. This looks like some first class landscaping, I look forward to the finished product! I have to agree with Gabe though about the source of good landscaping, nature has it's own ways of doing things and it's simply about recreating those on a baseplate. The internal structure technique SK and Gabe mentioned is definitely a key, that and having a ton of earth-tone elements, but otherwise you've got the whole world to use as an example.
  11. I'll have to remember to send you regards that day, as well as to all our neighbors to the north!
  12. Nice work Garmadon, very clever build! I love that posing, great job with the mud hole too! Of course the landscaping and path are very nicely done as well sir!
  13. Nice little scene LV, especially like that mean-looking fig! One quick suggestion for your photography, I'm not sure what type of camera you're using but if you can turn up the ISO you should be able to get rid of some of that soft haze and sharpen up the pic.
  14. Awesome mccoyed, you're definitely on the right track! Both Gabe and Kai made some good points, especially about the colors of the bank. I would actually get rid of all the tan/dark tan on the banks - very few forest streams have sandy banks. When it comes to building up a landscape, sometimes less color is better I think. Like Kai said, use some 1x2 plates or wedge plates to break up the straight lines of the tiered landscaping. Also, with the river, I would definitely suggest covering the whole thing with 1x1 trans blue/dark blue plates. Place a couple of rows of the light blue 1x1s near the bank and place the dark blue 1x1s in the center of the stream. That gives a neat effect where the river looks deeper in the middle (since the deeper channels are usually in the middle of a waterway). You can kinda see that in this WIP I've got going: I would also suggest building the bank one plate higher than the river since naturally water carves into the rock below it. Having the river the same height as the bank next to it just doesn't look right to me.
  15. Thanks again everyone, glad you liked it! I'm glad you mentioned something Yooha, I totally meant to link the first of the Collab MOCS recently done by Z and Torgar in case anyone needed a refresher on the plot developments. Here is the link to Z's Throne Room at Farnhorn and their other Collab MOCS, which the story above continues. The other MOCs are linked at the bottom of the Z's post.
  16. Wonderful scene, and one creepy looking monster!
  17. What a brilliant MOC, thanks for sharing this! Like others mentioned, that roof is phenomenally done. This is such a cool idea for a MOC (I love the movie) and there is a ton to enjoy. Again, those huts cannot be under appreciated. But the wall surrounding Rourke's Drift is so faithfully done with the chests, boxes, wagons and whatever else was at hand built right into the wall. Great work!
  18. Very cool Carson, lots of details to enjoy. I too would have liked to see a pic of the whole build in frame, still there's much to appreciate here. The tower is nice but I really enjoy that makeshift wooden structure added to the top. Good work!
  19. Haha, yes sir, the owner, Rob Hendrix, is in my LUG and actually lives just up the highway from my neck of the woods. I will admit I'm a bit of a purist but if I'm going to keep doing lava scenes if anything, I probably need to look into them. Rob always has some great stuff he's been working on when we meet, maybe he'll give me a good deal (or at least free shipping)! Thanks for the tip Kayne, I'm glad to know you've enjoyed using them! I appreciate it HammberBro! I actually had to depend a lot on those slopes after a ran out of dark bley bricks while building the floor.
  20. Very neat narbilu, I definitely note some impressive and unique building techniques here (I'm particularly interested in that awesome portcullis you built which is just visible in one of the pics). The stone wall and tower are very cool too. I'm assuming this is a WIP? 'Cause I definitely look forward to seeing it with a few more details and a courtyard packed with people!
  21. Awesome work Simon, very nicely done and topical! You did an amazing job recreating the Avalonian/Kaliphlin crowds and there's so much spirit in this build. Some great ideas too, like those nice goal posts. I'm ready to see Nocturnus play! And don't let the other Yanks convince you otherwise, some of us are football addicts in the U.S. too. Even here in the South - where one's passion goes from God to American football to family, in that order - soccer is becoming the next big thing. The high school team in our town just won its fifth state championship, and the team's only been in existence six years. You can bet you'll see some of our local guys in a future World Cup!
  22. Awesome work man, that dragon is very cleverly built! I love the color combos and the use of the Mouth's head as a clubbed tail. Great scene, very well done and composed.
  23. Thanks Vladdy, much appreciated! Thank you sir! That cheese mosiac is supposed to be like the old, torn end of the carpet roll. Thanks Josh! I appreciate that Hammerhand! I have to admit, my favorite part is the carpet! Thanks McCoyed! A few of the figs certainly aren't spot on, so I apologize to my guild mates for cheap makeovers Thanks a ton Garmadon! Thanks dude! I very much appreciate it Gunman! So glad you liked it! On my, you've got me blushing here. Considering the works of art you call Lego builds, I am most humbly gracious for these kind words. Man, great idea too with the lighting, I certainly should have done that. I need to get some more lights, the only one I had was from the Orthanc set which I built into my Crater of Doom MOC, which I also took to a display and accidently left on the whole day and now the battery is dead. Thanks Z, and for your help too and the million questions you had to answer! Thanks Scaevola! Glad you liked it sir, I've definitely enjoyed your recent MOCs! Definitely keep an eye out, there's a bad moon a'rising in Nocturnus! Man, what an awesome comment, thanks robuko! I thought the same thing for a time about the hanger look! I might just get rid of the figs and decor, and build a spaceship real quick just to check it out.
  24. Oh wow, this is seriously awesome. You've definitely shown your skill with architecture, and I love how you incorporated purple into the build. The sharp angle of the roof is a great effect, really gives a spooky feel to the build. Also the landscaping is very nicely done. I haven't been here long myself but I can tell you will be a great contribution to Nocturnus! Oh yeah, your Flickr page is filled with great builds, can't wait to see more for Nocturnus!
  25. At Senurhem's stronghold of Lagash Ur, Raavage stares at the angry faces that surround him. He ponders how everything could have gone so wrong. And yet, perhaps in this moment there is still an opportunity to unite these fractured alliances against his enemy. Raavage’s corrupt agents had reported Burress' betrayal and also that the Zugal had received both messages he had sent. Raavage has also sensed that the Drow and Varlyrians were not aware that he knows of their plan to recruit the Dragon Masters. The Dragons’ presence here has unnerved them. This is it, a chance to seal the fracture and bring the Zugal into the assault on Abyssian. Raavage could have picked no better place in all of Nocturnus to host this meeting. With the alliances of the Black Spire on the verge of complete dissolution, Senurhem's stronghold is the last bit of neutral ground in all the Darklands. Senurhem and his Covenant - Senurhem's name for the motley collection of Nocturian races he has pressed into his command - allied with Raavage late during the Civil War but proved an effective fighting force. The Zugal have also enjoyed a beneficial relationship with the Covenant, often combining forces for small operations against pockets of Nocturnian resistance. By agreeing to meet at Lagash Ur, the factions at least knew it wasn't one of Raavage's traps. Despite the neutral setting, Raavage knows today's meeting will be bitterly resisted. This will be a delicate dance. First he must reassure the ravens before consoling the Dragons; and finally unite them all against the snake! Raavage looks to the Zugal contingent and speaks. Raavage: My friends, you have been the victims of a Nocturnus plot to fracture our unity. The Nocturnians at Abyssian have tried to turn you against us. Raavage locks eyes with Korrak. He can tell the Zugal are not going to be easy to convince. Raavage shifts his focus to the others in the meeting room. Count Basil the Valyrian and General Zurnof the Drow avoid Raavage’s gaze. Both wonder what happened at the Eyrie. They sent no message to the Zugal but they fear what the Dragon Master delegation will tell Raavage. Both wonder what the Lord of the Hand knows. Korrak lets out a small click and hiss, his eyes darting over the faces of the gathered brood. Korrak: So you would have us believe that you did not intend to ally with our enemy? Korrak glares in the direction of Anzar Strongfist. Anzar doesn’t respond, he too would like to hear the explanation from Raavage. The altercation at Dragon Keep had cost the Dragon Masters much.Their dragon Handrid had fled into the mountains, the Dragon Keep was lost, and his father, Zar Strongfist, was slain at the hand of Raavage’s agent, the black knight Sir Burress. Raavage: I am most loyal to my friends, Korrak, and the Zugal are our most honored allies. As I said, you are the victim of an intricate plot perpetrated by the snake and his minions. Anzar could see the benefit the Nocturnian rebels may have gained by sparking this conflict, but if Raavage’s hands were truly clean then why were the Dragon Masters invited to this meeting? He wonders if Raavage intends to offer him up as sacrifice to the Zugal. His mind races as he considers the other possibilities. If the Nocturnian rebels were behind this plot, why did a Drow agent send a message to his father before Burress arrived at the Dragon Keep? Were the Drow behind the assassination? Burress, after all, is allied with Malicia Darkheart, a Drow sorceress. Anzar weighs his options carefully, then speaks. Anzar: If you truly have no affinity for the Dragon Masters, then why have you called here? Your honored allies decimated our Keep and killed many of my men. If you have brought us here to seek peace, we demand reparations for these actions. We would have the raven’s head on a pike! Korrak humms softly as he lets out a wry smile. Korrak: And where would you put that pike, Dragon? Surely not outside your Keep! The Zugal contingent lets out an audible groan, then a low clicking begins to fill the room. Anzar grips the hilt of his sword and his guards set their feet for battle. Raavage knows he must take control. If his plan to take Abyssian has any chance of surviving, he must take his chance now. Raavage slams his fist on the table and releases a commanding growl. Raavage: Enough! Can you not see? This is what the snake wants! He has used your vendetta to divide the Spire! It is the snake whose head you desire. The Zugal clicking fades as Korrak lifts his arm for silence. Korrak: Even if all you say is true, the Zugal will not cede our gains to the Dragons. Anzar stares furiously at Korrak. He was never the warrior of the family, but the Zugal’s cockiness enrages him. No matter what the Lord of the Hand says the Zugal will never be his ally! Raavage: Anzar, your losses were unfortunate, but perhaps this misunderstanding can improve your situation. The Dragon Keep has always resided in the long shadow of the Eyrie, and peace was hard to find. What if I allow you to keep Abyssian once we have slaughtered the snake? Anzar has no desire to possess Abyssian. It is not a suitable home for training dragons... Dragons! They must be what Raavage needs to take Abyssian, otherwise he would not have been summoned to this meeting. Anzar then wonder why it was he that was called and not his brother, Tanzar. Tanzar has the army, two dragons and is the Dragon Master's fiercest warrior. Did Raavage need Handrid for this assault? Why would he favor Handrid over Dravin and Dronis, his brother’s prized twin dragons? Perhaps Raavage thought he would be easier to manipulate than Tanzar. Was Raavage even aware that Handrid had fled into the mountains after the Dragon Keep fell? It must be something else. Anzar is only certain of two things. First, that Raavage is using him and second, that the Zugal are his enemy. If he does not ally with Raavage, he would ensure the fracture became a rift. Anzar surveys the audience and senses disquiet from the Drow and Varlyrians. He thinks carefully about his next move and then speaks. Anzar: We don’t want Abyssian. We want Malicia Darkheart! Raavage is surprised by the request. Where is the dragon pup going with this? He only brought Anzar to this meeting because he was inexperienced, easier to manipulate and intimidate. Why would he ask for Malicia, his most trusted advisor? Raavage: Out of the question, Dragon Master. Anzar: You say that it is the Nocturnian rebels who plotted to kill my father and spark this altercation, and yet Burress is under the command of Darkheart. The black knight came baring a shield given to Darkheart by my father. How are we to know it is not the Drow who conspire against us? I demand you turn over Darkheart for interrogation and possible execution! Raavage: Burress was allied with the Nocturnian rebels before his capture. It is clear they placed an enchantment on him long before he began to serve Malicia. The snake wanted to place Burress in a place of trust within my ranks to exact this plot! It is Burress you should question! The pace of the argument quickens. Anzar: Are you sure that Malicia is trustworthy? Are you sure that the Drow are your allies? Raavage: Malicia is trustworthy. Anzar: And the Drow- are they your allies? Raavage: They are loyal to me! Anzar shoots a glance towards General Zurn and flips a scroll onto the floor bearing Zurn’s seal. Anzar: If they are loyal to you, then why did they send my father a secret message promising the return of our lands in Avalonia if we would join them in an assault on the West? Are you sure the Drow work in your interests and not against them? Korrak smiles to himself, pleased to be witness to this altercation. Finally Raavage is being exposed! Raavage, however, is stunned. If he claims he ordered the Avalonian assault proposed by the Drow, the Drow will know that he is lying and that he is aware of their betrayal. Raavage: All part of the Rebel's plot! The answer comes too quickly and easily. This meant one thing - Raavage knew of their plan to recruit the Dragon Masters to assault Avalonia. General Zurn begins to question everything. Did Raavage send Burress to kill Zar to sabotage the Drow’s alliance with the Dragon Masters? How did Raavage know? Is the Varlyrian, Count Basil, a Hand spy? The only thing he knows for sure is Raavage cannot be trusted. Korrak: Unlikely, even I have a hard time believing the Rebel's could know enough about our fracture to exploit it. Raavage ignores Korrak's comment. Shifting his eyes to Zurn, Raavage sees the realization that his betrayal has been discovered wash over the General . The Lord of the Hand knows he must separate the sides now before all is lost. Raavage: This IS a Nocturnian plot. Let us cease these accusations now to gather our composure. The Covenant has prepared a unity feast. Let us allow our tempers to calm while we enjoy our host’s bounty. Senurhem walks forward to address the angry, but hungry mob assembled in his council chambers. Senurhem: Yes, I have ordered my finest chefs to prepare some traditional Nocturnian cuisine for your enjoyment this evening. The menu includes roasted crocodile, pan-fried Moruth trout, a light swamp salad and, for our Zugal friends, giant Nocturnian earthworms. Senurhem waves to a dark figure leaning against the wall. The man, obviously Senurhem's second-in-command, has said nothing the entire meeting. Senurhem: Anfauglir, order the waiters to begin serving. Anfauglir: Yes m'lord. Anfauglir exits through a side door and waiters soon pour out, their arms full of trays holding food and drink for Senurhem's guests. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Here's a few shots of the rest of the MOC without figs: ------------------------------------------------------------------ About this MOC: Torgar and Z were awesome enough to let me get in on some Collab action for Nocturnus, and this is my first entry so far. While I handled the MOC on this one T and Z worked up this part of the story, which I assure you has some twists in store. This of course takes place soon after the epic collab story T and Z put together and shared earlier this month. Definitely stay tuned to the forums over the next week to see the rest of this chapter! Thanks for checking it out!
