  1. it is just to bulky I think.
  2. very nice job indeed! that is why it is important for LEGO to also keep studded technic bricks :)
  3. Very very nice find! I assume it will stay MISB forever now ;)
  4. motorising it is not a problem! I have good experience with that.
  5. "8 1x1 grey bricks are missing" that is very strange... one would expect the balances they use to pick that up indeed. indeed contact LEGO and they will help you out. My wife has the set and no parts were missing.
  6. one doughnut shop? you better get more of them then ;)
  7. you could ask Lazarus! See this topic: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=82023&st=225
  8. I have a wish for this torso (and many more with me): https://c2.staticfli...5c7b5be1e_n.jpg (I could do it myself, but not that much an expert on torsos). If you can do it and are interested I can also print some for you of course!
  9. Of course I like the idea, but... I don't think the 2x10 plate is very appealing. it can be more simple. advantage of your solution is that is works very well in two directions of course.
  10. well, it is a very old topic indeed. We use a Roland VS-300 versacamm printer/cutter. Most difficult thing is printing white and that machine can do it. Our old machine Roland PC-60 had resin cartridges that also could print white but the current machine is much more versatile (solvent/inkjet). The machines are very expensive though (16.000€ was our machine and that is the smallest version). We use solvent compatible vinyl (both for transparent and white stickers).
  11. well.. I did consider that, but I'm still not sure that they did the same testing that Philippe did (of course they used the specs/datasheets from the components etc so they of course took a different approach.
  12. nice job! works very well, looking like an unimog.
  13. probably alcohol or nail polish remover? I would start with alcohol.
  14. my package from China is 'in transit' using DHL so hope to get some results soon.
  15. I use this monster, it is expensive though ;) it can also print metallic and white and is also a cutter
  16. There is really only one person in the LEGO world that can give an accurate picture of the differences between V1 and V2: Philippe. http://www.philohome.com/pfrec/pfrec.htm
  17. I am working on a different concept: - a simple microcontroller in the signal - a simple reedswitch When the train is detected the signal goes to red and after some time it will go back to green again.
  18. Indeed, I use your design with Arduino + Servo motors that are PF compatible.
  19. here is the Arduino source + video http://leguano.nl/?p=1542
  20. a gold cap (special capacitor) is a good idea for this purpose.
  21. Hi Rail Co, if you search in here, there are plenty of ideas!
