Would love to see a little bit more how you managed that! I a still have some struggles with my 7750 PF Mod to make it not derail.
-
Great job! Would like to see it built in bricks!!!

17€ for the originals (bricklink) is not that bad, I could reproduce them but will take some time and also will be difficult to make a very good repro of the small boxes (the logo isn't a problem at all though).
-
It is a very nice though! Need to start somewhere of course. I teach Arduino but also still struggle how to show automated trains on events etc.
-
Quite nice! I only think you should try to make them run and stop a little less abrupt. I would recommend reed sensors (switches) b.t.w. instead of those LDR's, you can see they are not too reliable for obvious reasons.

12V Train Motor(BB12V) disassembly and repair

Great tutorial!!! Thanks for sharing! -
I could argue that he probably also will think a Picasso, Van Gogh or Rembrandt is stupid ;)
-
I don't think it is lame, it think it is actually quite nice, but I hope we will still have 'real' trains soon.

Fully automated 10128 level crossing with the Terminator!
JopieK replied to AlmightyArjen's topic in LEGO Train Tech
You could make your delays in the loop just a little longer ;) this one will terminate the heads of your minifigs as well! -
I might have copied it from another modular (to make sure I used the modular footprint!), thanks! I'll try again :). B.t.w. maybe a better idea to give it a default color when the color is not found instead of referencing it anyway.

Very nice MOC!

I could not believe it when I saw it that is it 99% identical to the one I already have. There is an upside: if you look at the prices of that one at bricklink looks like a lot of people will get less money out of it, they seem to go for 200+, probably not anymore ;)

Barduck, you did it again!

More Realistic Couplers and other improvements for Future LEGO Trains
JopieK replied to Brickthus's topic in LEGO Train Tech
That is a very workable solution. I have implemented it and control it using Arduino / PF (remote). -
You should also take into consideration that different motors might behave differently. Best would be to have some servo (loop control) principe, but will be difficult in LEGO I think.
-
Very nice job also the UP.

More Realistic Couplers and other improvements for Future LEGO Trains

That is also a good solution, but still too limited if you want to shunt cars since you can only decouple the car directly behind the engine and often want to decouple e.g. the last car. -
