  1. Hmm you are totally correct. I didn't notice that before. Well than not Brickshelf :p
  2. @James_Bangying. Welcome to EB in general and Train Tech in particular. Thanks for sharing the design. I would use brick shelf for putting images. It is a somewhat ancient site but does the job well.
  3. Very nice, it is generally refered to as "Sik" (goatie in Dutch). They were originally in DkGreen, but later NS painted them Yellow. https://miljoenenlijn.nl/artikel/loc-248-08-sik/ There are variants including the ones having a crane: https://www.spoorwegmuseum.nl/en/ontdek/de-collectie/our-trains/ns-362-sik/ B.t.w. you could use e.g. enamel wire to also power the top head-light: if moving in a forward direction it should have white lights in a triangle. It should also have a red flash light on top (which used to be blue when they were delivered from factory).
  4. Nice work! B.t.w. I have used a tiny microcontroller for it, that makes for even more possibilities.
  5. Really nice work! Once I have my trains back I'll certainly try it. Still in storage as our building expansion is still being postponed...
  6. Very nice @Legownz! Thanks for sharing.
  7. I reversed you penalty as it was @Lego Tom who brought you to it. Next time please report your topic so we can just move it instead of opening a new one. Apart from that: thanks for joining Eurobricks and happy coding.
  8. Nice one @Haddock51. Great work.
  9. It seems that they have found the issue and are working on a permanent solution (see Bricklink forum). I deleted and redownloaded both versions and while the normal version still is ignoring all mouse activity, the Early Access version automatically downloaded updated parts etc and is working for me (macOS Sanoma 14.2.1 (23C71), MBP M3 Max). I did not use it a lot yet so don't know how stable it is but I could load the project I'm working on which is quite a large modular building.
  10. Thank you for joining EB and welcome to Train Tech. It is basically the same idea so I merged the two topics. The 9V montor picks up the power via the wheels. The 12V motor has those 'springed' pickups that connect in a flexible way to the additional middle track of course. See here a possible way to do it:
  11. Thanks for the great review @MKJoshA, of course we still miss the one's from @WhiteFang but you do a pretty decent job as well :) B.t.w.:
  12. That is also the main reason it is not in Train Tech anymore :) (I didn't move it b.t.w. but it was a good decision). @idlemarvel have you ever seen prices of 12V train stickers? That is why I used to reproduce them. But the problem is more that such a sellers are blatantly copying everything from LEGO, not as a way to extend or improve LEGO but basically to undermine it.
  13. Still a problem indeed. Have still one system on 14.0 but it is very very inconvenient. Hope Apple and Unity will fix it (e.g. in Sanoma 14.3) but there seems to be a workaround now: A clean install of the latest Studio "Early Access Changelog Version 2.23.12_1 (Dec 20, 2023)" with MacOS Sonoma 14.2.1 and running it in Full Screen mode seems to work without any input issues. 14. Very nice @PopsicleLEGO thanks for sharing!
  15. Thanks! Done. I also unpinned 2023! Hope to get some great trains in 2024 but as always with LEGO we need to wait patiently.
  16. Really nice job @DaanBrickProjects. Welcome to Eurobricks b.t.w.
  17. You can message once you reach 10 posts.
  18. Thanks! I don't know the rule by heart but it should be somewhere in a link of my signature. Murdoch is right. They look great @Craig Strader. Did you cast them yourself?
  19. Really nice. Great addition to that train. Just got myself one last Saturday. The windows are still being produced though, so maybe some day TLG will put some dark blue in their moulding machines (Years Released: 1980 - 2023 according to Bricklink)
  20. Wow that is a stunning building. Both in LEGO and the real version. Really great work @microden. Also: welcome again to Eurobricks and thanks for sharing!
  21. I tried my wife's M2 that was two subversions behind (14.0) and it works on hers. Update 14.2.1 of Sanoma did not fix it so I guess the only option is that the developers need to release a new version. Seems to have something to do with Unity: https://forum.bricklink.com/viewtopic.php?t=9874 and https://issuetracker.unity3d.com/issues/mouse-and-keyboard-button-inputs-are-delayed-when-in-the-player-on-macos
  22. Very nice. Great deal on these sets.
  23. Welcome to Eurobricks @PaleozoicBricks. Looking forward to your work. Chima Trains would be cool ;)
  24. Maybe we should keep the discussion a little more on track @legoturtle and @Oky. Some nazis were really really evil. A lot were just opportunists or blind sheep. Apart from that, there were also a lot of other heinous people in the past that weren't nazi's (e.g. Pol Pot and Nero to name just two). And very rare, but there was even a good SS-guy in Auschwitz (Hans Münch) who refused to participate in the mass murders, but this is a LEGO forum and the topic was Indiana Jones and not on nazi's, even though I find it really peculiar that LEGO violated it's own rules and included fairly recent military factions into official sets (e.g. 7622) albeit without using symbols that refer to axis/nazi's.
