That is indeed different from the traditional horizontal one's :) sorry my mistake...
-
Well, there are people that created one... The German term is: "schiebebühne": (Dutch:) http://legotreinforu...brug-t1527.html http://www.brickshel...lidingPlatform/ So I think that answered your question. The English term is "Transfer table": http://en.wikipedia..../Transfer_table Apart from that, we welcome you to the Train forum, but be careful that you don't act like a 'gatling gun' and open new topics without searching etc (http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?app=core&module=search&do=search&fromMainBar=1). MAke sure you also introduce yourself in the Train Tech forum and at EB general of course :)

Very nice work Lazarus!!!

I have done experiments and did not like the way that it affected the performance of my 9V motors. Apart from that, DCC is a nice but expensive way to run trains. Together with my high school students we are developing a universal system that uses Arduino / PF / Xbee / BLE to run trains and peripherals.

aha, that makes sense :) it comes out very well in this MOC indeed!

@UrbanErwin, ah, you are right: he meant that indeed. But some different interpunction and a few more words would have helped of course :)

MOC: Metro Station with NXT controlled sliding platform doors
JopieK replied to Esben Kolind's topic in LEGO Train Tech
@mikezang, welcome to Train Tech and EB. Maybe you could introduce yourself first. It would be a good idea to start a new topic on remote controlling trains using EV3 and older mindstorms versions, but I think it would be better to create a new topic for that. @rrigs: simple solutions are often the best :)- 29 replies

Nice work on that train! It is indeed very difficult to make that curves with normal bricks, but you did a great job on that!!!
-
@TexMexSu: welcome here, why don't you introduce yourself first in some other topic in Train Tech or in the general forum (http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showforum=17). B.t.w. we would also appreciate it if you try to be a little less vague in expressing yourself: "New 'kids' on the block, well train station anyway." is not really English isn't it?! ;) Hope to see much more of you here of course!
-
I like it very much, will you be able to fit a driver in it (BEAVeR had the same question ;))? b.t.w. what is that front winch part? I have never seen it before.

very nice indeed!

Very nice job!

Looks very nice! Only the numbers could be improved of course...
-
About the numbers: LEGO does indeed use Helvetica (I think Helvetica Neue if I remember correctly) quite often.

I really like the Bochum Dahlhausen museum in Germany. In Holland Beekbergen is very nice too, but that is not a real museum (but STAR and Museum Buurtspoor aren't really musea either, they are depots that provide one with some exhibition trains and a rail trip opportunity (very nice though). One of my other favorites is the Deutsches Technik Museum in Berlin with a lot of nice steam engines etc.

So you will still be able to buy food, good to hear that :). Solutions like lugbulk get us a lot of certain parts, but still, to create the whole layout it costs a very lot of bricks (both in money and ABS ;))

very very nice, but... before LEGOWorld your bank account will be empty ;) I'm also hoping to do some ballasting for LEGOWorld, mainly to hide cables etc.

how is it going with the MOC? Did you know that a Santa Fe Super Chief had a similar accident?

interesting that they open one in Belgium but no one in Holland, Flanders should consider to reconnect with Holland again I think ;) We normally go to Essen or Oberhausen.

Scrolling / Back Button Navigation Issue
JopieK replied to jimmynick's topic in Forum Information and Help
I use "Version 29.0.1547.65" of Chrome... works without a problem, so maybe upgrade to a Mac ;) (just somewhat drastic, but hey, what is a more important thing to do on a computer than visiting EB.com ;))- 6 replies

You should present in on LEGOWorld Utrecht 2013 in Holland (doubt that they will pay your ticket, but they should with such a nice Dutch work!).- 33 replies
