Can someone help me with this plant in a pot idea
Corydoras replied to zinnn's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Also, the fez and flower stem pieces don't connect. -
Thank you for your kind words! Yup, just the complete hull from 7075, and the small skull piece from the set as part of the stern decoration: The ship is designed to be modular, which means you can build the bow, middle and stern separately and connect them with technic pins afterwards. Since I haven't finished building it yet, I'm not sure if the pins alone will be enough to hold it firmly together once it's complete, so a couple of extra plates might be required to strengthen the entire thing. I didn't make instructions for it, but I can share with you the Studio file for free if you want. Just give me your e-mail address, and I'll send it to you. Oh, and if you decide to build it and post photos of it, a credit would be nice.

Here's what I designed to fit onto the hull. Haven't finished building it yet.

Well, in my opinion it looks messy as hell. But that's just me.

This gives me serious Metal Slug vibes. Nice job!

Lol, this is hilarious. I hope the Lion Knight won't get caught, or else he'll probably meet the same fate as the guy at the bottom of the tree.

Lego Icons 10332 Medieval Town Square Discussion Thread
Corydoras replied to BrickJagger's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Why is this even called a town square, when it looks like a village? 10193 looked like a proper town square despite being called a village. -
A very nice recreation! On Dali's original painting, however, the elephants are much more sinister looking. These look more confused than anything, lol.

Lady? I've never thought of this figure as a female, but as a guy with shoulder-length hair that was pretty common among men in the Middle Ages. An unambiguously male figure with this kind of hairstyle is featured in 10193 Medieval Market Village, for example. Nice remake, though a bit too crowded for my taste.

This is hilarious, really put a smile on my face. Nice job!

It's a bit of a shame then that a build made largely from clone bricks has been frontpaged on a webstie for LEGO fans. Just sayin'.
-
I spy lots of clone bricks, recognizable by the lack of LEGO logo on the studs.

I like the use of brooms as spider legs. Quite ingenious!

I can't stress enough how much i adore this ship! It's creative and crazy, the wholesome kind of crazy that I love and sometimes aim for in my own builds. Bonus points for Croc OST in the video.

These are renders, right? Because there is no way that mast would support the weight of the sail irl.

The weird minifigures remind me of Enlighten Shifty, a Chinese clone brand popular in Poland in the early 2000s. They used to copy 90s LEGO sets, often changing the contents - and altering the stolen original boxart accordingly - whenever they couldn't reproduce a particular element, mostly minifig accessories. In their copy of set 6027 Bat Lord's Catapult, for example, they replaced the Dragon Masters helmet on the Fright Knight with a random shako: https://black_king.bricker.asia/images/osets/ENLIGHTEN_9824.jpg EDIT: Why aren't my links working? I try the Link option, but it can't seem to create a clickable link for me.

Not bad and certainly recognizable.

Summer? I thought this is Winter. Awesome model anyway, the face looks way better without the nose that somewhat ruined Autumn's appearance for me.

Looking for a particular catalogue/leaflet
Corydoras replied to Corydoras's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I've already rummaged through Peeron and brickfactory.info scan archives, but could not find this particular leaflet/catalogue page. -
Once I saw what I'm not sure was a LEGO catalogue page or a leaflet, and which I can't seem to find anymore. It featured a bird's eye view on an 80's castle sets layout, dominated by set 6080 King's Castle with 6040 Blacksmith Shop integrated into it. Any help?

A truly stunning MOC. I'd lose the nose, though, as it looks like it's growing out of her forehead.

These are all perfect recreations! And purist too, which is nice.

Yet another behemoth set for rich people, and kind of lackluster in design, judging by the leaked image.
