For some reason I really like the little blue roofs. They are very simple, but neat, and add a nice splash of color.

Nice use of microscale to create the feel of an industrial mountain dwelling. Congrats!

Can someone help me? King's Mountain Fortress 6081
Corydoras replied to Captain Fortune's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Just replace the panels with regular bricks. Use lots of masonry profile ones, they gve the walls a very nice look! See my remake of set 6080 King's Castle: -
How about part 30396? https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=30396&idColor=11#T=C&C=11 Does the hook move completely freely inside it or is there a bit of friction?

Quick question: does the following part provide a little bit of friction for the towball or is it moving inside it completely freely when attached? https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=63082#T=C

A sinister robot inspired by set 6949 Robo-Guardian. The cockpit/torso design is borrowed from 71772 Crystal King.

[MOD] Ice Planet Ice Blaster version of 6903 Bug Blaster
Corydoras replied to SpacePolice89's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Cute! I had the original Bug Blaster as a kid, as well as some other smallish Insectoids sets. -
I can share the .io file if you want. The parts are mostly common, there is no unusual or especially rare bricks. The most expensive thing I needed for it was some brick pattern stickers from set 7094 to cover the bare corner wall panels.

A remake of set 6074 Black Falcon's Fortress, rather faithful to the source material. I'm still missing a few pieces to build it irl.

[MOC] Achu's jungle throne
Corydoras replied to The Reader's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
It's kind of minimalistic. The rest of the 10x20 brick is strikingly empty. Maybe try adding some plants, statues, treasure, etc.? -
I really like it! Especially the way you did the toothy mouth at the front without using any stickers.

Long hair + Aarakocra Ranger wings

Thank you very much for the info. I think I'll pass on buying the wing piece, then. -
Long hair + Aarakocra Ranger wings
Corydoras replied to Corydoras's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Haven't tried anything yet, because I don't have the wing piece. -
But... this is not LEGO.
-
Sadly, no.

This is my second take on the Lambda-class imperial shuttle. My previous attempt was smaller, sorta midi-scale-ish, roughly the size of set 7166, while this one is scaled more like 75094, and is minifig-compatibile. The cockpit fits two pilots and four figs can sit comfortably in the passenger compartment. The wings fold out, the double blaster cannons move, the roof with the top fin and the rear cannons unclips and slides away, allowing access to the passenger compartment. Unfortunately, the landing gear has to be removed manually to enter flight mode, but the disassembly is quick and easy. The distinct grey stripe on the front of the cockpit denotes the vessel as the Emperor's personal shuttle. Haven't built the model yet, but it should be super sturdy.

Are there any longer (female) minifigure hairpieces that could go together with the Aarakocra Ranger eagle wings? I'd apperciate some info.

I feel like LEGO is doing way too many promotional or otherwise limited sets - Ideas, Bricklink Designer Program, Chinese New Year, LEGO Brand Store, Holiday and Event, Employee Gift, GWPs etc. I'm fed up that every time I go to BL to check in which sets a particular piece appeared, I'm forced to scroll through dozens of sets owned by, like, seven people around the globe.

Have you ever found Lego pieces outdoors?
Corydoras replied to SpacePolice89's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Once, as a kid, I found an M-Tron/Spyrius (don't remember which one it was exactly) container box under my neighbor friend's windows. He then leaned out the window and said it was his, and I gave it back to him. Another time, I found an Ice Planet torso, and even though it was cracked and slightly faded, I was overjoyed, as I loved Ice Planet and only had one minifigure from the theme back then. -

Do I spy a classic dragon in RED? Is that a bootleg? -
Oh, I see them. They are quite well-concealed.

Looks nice. However, if it really is a starfighter, then it should have some armaments, yet I don't see any guns/cannons/etc. on it.

Can someone help me with this plant in a pot idea
Corydoras replied to zinnn's topic in General LEGO Discussion
My bad. I just glanced at the bar part of the stem, forgetting that the central part is as thick as a stud.
