  1. Last year or so I have purchased those same hoses that Stefan already recommended. They fit perfectly. They are also more like the old hoses from a lot of years back. They go easy on the pneumatic connectors and sit tight enough. Way better than the struggle with current hoses.
  2. Impressive. You squeezed a buggy motor in there. :D How does it perform? I assume it is rather quick. Can you make a video?
  3. I had once seen some MOCs from Designer Han being sold on eBay through some other person. I contacted Han about this and he just said, that he finds it interesting, but won't do anything about it. I wonder myself why people do this. Or why people buy already built MOCs. From a customer side of view, it would be more interesting to sell a set of parts for a MOC and point to the direction of the original instructions. Or if the instructions are only for sale, it might be possibly interesting to make some kind of reseller agreement between the original creator and the seller. In the end, there will be no fit solution for everyone and you need to decide if you are flattered about this or if you will try to take a legal course and give the seller a written warning and use the means of ebay for copyright flaws. Perhaps it might be also interesting, if one of the community ambassadors tries to reach out to eBay and see what they say about cases like this so some guidelines could be made for MOC creators that find their creations being sold by other people and isn't very fond about that happening. Just my 2 cents. edit: Oh, and of course the least this seller could have done would give credit. Just like with everything in creative commons or GPL/ASL whatever license. The original creator must be given credit.
  4. I am very sorry for your loss and I wish you and your family all the best there is to get through these hard times sound and safe. I can't even imagine how this is, but be assured, your story instantly brought me to tears.
  5. I just finished building the manual version. The build was a lot of fun and the model is pretty solid in the end. Most sections were very straightforward, most connection can be considered legal but for a few where little "bending" is required. I especially like the break system and the handbreak, as well as the door locks. It also makes very good use of flex axles to replicate the shape of the original car. My thanks go to Sheepo for this wonderful model.
  6. Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 150 by rm8
  7. The official sets are alright ... for their time. I would want something that is more like these:
  8. Well done. The accurateness is pretty impressive. Took me a moment to realize that the red model right under the brown model is made of Lego. In fact, I only realized it by looking at the glass windows. After that is was obvious of course, but I think such a statement testifies your skill with scale models.
  9. Good question. I am especially sad about the missing Fire Trucks. So much opportunity for cool functions as some MOCs have already proved.
  10. Here you go: http://brickset.com/sets/8230-1/Coastal-Cop-Buggy And this goes as police as well I think, due to the title "enforcer": http://brickset.com/sets/8444-1/Air-Enforcer
  11. They'll package it, so it fits in a bigger envelope.
  12. The lack of some parts on the market forced me to make my first BL orders from other countries. Turkey, Austria, France. Hopefully they don't take too long. Stupid postage for a lot of orders makes this more expensive than I thought before. At least, this had some learning effect ;)
  13. I have this set and I was rather satisfied. The build itself was a lot of fun and lasting. The set is good value for the money. ~2600 parts and I paid 160€ on Amazon for it. So this is really a good value in my opinion. Also, the B-model is really cool and so you get basically 4 models from 1 set. And I think this set has nearly everything to build cool C-models as wel. I wonder why none appeared yet.
  14. Just finished ordering the necessary parts. I should have done that right away, because now I had to make a lot of small orders. It is now really hard to get the red and white 11L flex axles and 16L red flex axles in Germany. Hopefully the parts will all arrive in time, so I can build this beast when I have my vacation (more like staycation). People should really stop having multiple MOCs built
  15. I am surprised that steering via the Mini-LAs is quite fast. Well done.
  16. Haha there it is. Well done so far :D
  17. I wonder how long it takes for dokludi to make a replica!?
  18. I am pretty sure I am going to get this set. This is a great supplement to my collection in terms of yellow pieces and PF elements.
  19. Thanks Blackbird for this thorough insight. Thanks Nico for such a great machine!
  20. I checked. The axles were not used in the B model.
  21. Yes, everything worked without any problems. I can check later the amount of leftovers from the B model to see if the axles from my pic above have been used.
  22. Black shelves also make dust a lot more visible ;)
