  1. There are some available on Bricklink, but prices are ridiculous.
  2. I like how you made it drive and steer. Seems very smooth. You could now build an american lawn mower.
  3. Like 8043? With a few more tread links, one more M motor and some other parts probably. I didn't check properly though.
  4. Those prices for flex axle 19L in black/white are a true bargain and they are highly available.
  5. I ordered everything needed yesterday. But again ... flex axle availability is ridiculous Oh well ... I already have an idea for that
  6. Here in Germany we had them last time with yellow separator and big yellow containers instead of grey. Else, they were exactly the same I believe, but I need to check. We didn't get any with 2-wide compartments, else I probably would have gotten some of them. Perhaps next year when we get them again. Ok ... totally offtopic :D
  7. Those exact drawers were sold at Aldi here in Germany and other european countries (I believe they are available in the Netherlands as well). They were always available in January or February. I always point them out in the "Storage and Sorting" thread in the regular Lego discussion forum. I myself have several of those, but it would be new to me that they were discontinued. This year they just changed some colors. Also, they are very cheap and quality-wise good enough. The small compartments are pretty exactly 8 studs wide.
  8. Wow. This is huge. I hope it works out in Bricks!
  9. I wouldn't care too much about it. Thinking back, I guess what has been worth complaining about has been discussed and complained when it had happened. It's definately not worth the time thinking too much about a single complaint like that, when everyone else says it is fine how and how much you post your stuff. Personally, I don't do it much different, though less frequent.
  10. Exactly! Just wanted to say this as well. Stupid complicated german language :D Always good for some confusion. E.g. Langstrecken-Rennwagen basically translates to "long distance racecar". But in German, Rennwagen can be either racecar or racecars. There is no difference in the word, it's all context. The same goes for "Raupenlader". But it's a safe bet to talk about singular in all cases here.
  11. There are some very cool Fire Truck MOCs out there. And many more ...
  12. Sign up at Rebrickable, insert your sets to your collection there and then click on Build to see what you can build. If you don't want to sign up there, you can search by manually entering some set numbers. But as your collection grows, that will become cumbersome.
  13. Perhaps you should have put on some pants for more "seriousness"
  14. As far as I know, it isn't a limited run. I think it was said on Brother Brick.
  15. I finally received my copy of 42030. And the picture was made using my camera mount v2
  16. Obviously, TLG in Germany is now fulfilling backorders. I got a delivery confirmation about an hour ago.
  17. I like the mechanism a lot, well done. Just a question: Isn't this stressing the LA's a lot when operating it with load? edit: Forget the question. I just watched the video again and saw that the two red 3x5 L-beams are mounted on the chassis.
  18. Finally I am getting my own copy. Can't wait ... stupid weekend plans!
  19. Good review. STAMP = Sticker across multiple pieces No STAMP = good
  20. Wow ... just wow!
  21. Brilliant topic. I am writing about this stuff on my blog, though I haven't gotten to continue my story much further. Basically I had a large dark age from something like 16 or 17 until my mid twenties (which already started a lot earlier). Then I slowly came back again with some specific sets (oh man I really need to write new blog entries) and me becoming a proper AFOL a few years back. How my dark age began can be read here: Click.
  22. I actually like both. At least for sets that have appeal to me. I like in a written review (if it is good) how it describes everything. If there are good pictures in the review, then it's even better. You can take your time looking at them and have your own thoughts about it. And there is virtually no restriction in text for the writer to describe contents, functions, parts and everything else he wants to say. On the other hand, video reviews show the functions in action. I personally like Sariel's reviews best. They aren't even narrated and transport additional information that isn't available in the video itself through text. Also, his videos have a nice style that I really like. And hamsters! I don't really "like" narrated review videos. Mostly, because I often can't watch them with sound.
  23. I bought the small helicopter and snowmobile. And just recently the bulldozer and Volvo. Though, I am still waiting for the Volvo to be delivered. 42029 is on the list for a later purchase.
  24. While I am sure, that this car is better built than anything I have come up with for myself, I think it doesn't resemble the Mitsubishi Evo IX much. The front is what defines the car the most, and this one is missing a lot of the iconic look of the Evo IX. If I were you, these shapes would drive me nuts I guess the only chance would be to "hint" the shapes with flex axles. Just like Sheepo did with the GT500.
  25. Yesterday. I stumbled upon a problem, which now speeds things up a little. I wanted to make some straight shots, but that was not really possible. I needed to apply some tilt, so I put something under the rear stand. Unfortunately, the whole stand soon tended to tip over. Hear is a first idea for a new version: Far from being final
